Several readers in the Charlotte, NC area, including Elite member JBird sent word that they received an email today that Ric Flair has been added to this Tuesday's ECW/Smackdown taping and will be making a "farewell speech to his hometown fans"
The email advisory also listed a main event (dark match) six man tag bout, featuring The Hardy Boys & Triple H vs. Edge, MVP and Umaga.
The Long Island Press reported today that Ric Flair's finance company "Ric Flair Finance" has officially shuttered operations due to the state of the weak economy. A website devoted to the company now lists information for the agent responsible for booking Flair's personal appearances.

I'm so sick of Flair...seriously. Him showing up every other week after his "emotional farewell" really just cheapens the whole thing. It's not even exciting to see him anymore

It's not even exciting to see him anymore Ummm he showed up once for 5 mins, 3 months after he retired..HARDLY counts as showing up all the time. I love how people bash Flair for coming back (Not to wrestle) just once MAYBE twice to say goodbye to his home town, yet they still love Mick Foley, Terry Funk and Steve Austin and want The Rock to come back everyday....Even though they ALL have retired before

Because unlike Ric Flair, they're all entertaining, well besides Terry Funk Yes because non entertaining wrestlers stay on top for 35 years flair has been an embarrassment to watch for almost a decade. nothing is entertaining about a man so passed his prime clinging onto his only claim to fame. it was kinda sad actually.

At least his retirement is still better than Charles Shultz's and Mr. Rogers's.

He's just like Favre, once he's out of the attention zone he can't stand it nad has to come crawling back. Flairs not as big of a bitch though. Favre is just a cry baby douche.
