Havent the ratings been around the same (low to mid 3s) since the Draft??? I dont think you can say it is or isnt Punk...I think its just a norm for WWE right now Right... draft happens. Next week, people tune in to see the effect of the draft... and see Punk win the world title, then they see the developing title picture surrounding Punk throughout the show. Then this week's episode happened... see where I'm going here? Yeah, the draft made ratings, the EFFECT of the draft, such as CM Punk and the rest of the NEW Raw main event scene, are keeping the ratings steady. So basically, I'm pretty much agreeing with you... but I do think Punk is having a positive influence on people watching.

I don't see how Kane's turn did a big thing for the ratings. It was very brief and at the end of the show...
I just don't see people randomly turning it over just as Kane turned. But regardless of the ratings, I don't see Punk retaining unfortunately.

Because you got the detailed ratings data already, right? Nah but still, when Raw has a star studded main event like that and a heel turn awaiting to happen for a long time, ratings obviously will boost. All Punk did worthwhile was face Snitsky in a match nobody could give 2 ****s about. Yes, because everyone knew Kane was going to turn heel so they kept watching RAW

still, just because punks champ doesnt mean people are gonna watch. sure, it attributed to the figures, but not EVERY single person tuned in to just see punk, although i admit, him being champ was the main reason i watched.

Main event/Kane heel turn did the ratings good. Not Punk facing Snitsky... LMFAO Believe that all you want guy, Kane didnt turn heel till the show was 5 minutes before going off air HAHAHAHA Yeah, Exactly. So how can the raitings be for the heel turn? Good Rating is a good sign for punk though. Hopfully he keeps the title at Bash.

There's no chance in hell Punk retains at GAB. Ratings mean nothing to WWE in terms of title reigns..look at Edge's first reign.
They aren't going to change their plans just because the transitional champion draws, sadly.

No, its different, WWE wanted Cena/HHH at Mania that year, Edge had MITB, and they knew they couldnt just forget about MITB, so Edge cashed in and held it for a month. It was just a way to get Edge over as a believeable contender and to get his MITB shot out of the way. With Punk, they had many choices, HHH could have lost, Batista could have won, but they chose Punk. I think Punk will retain at GAB, if they wanted the belt on Batista they could of had him win at NOC, and they could have saved Punk's MITB. Im going against the grain here and predicting a lengthy Punk reign, he has a list of fresh opponents so it could happen

Lol how the hell did Kane turning heel have to do with...anything? Wtf.
I'm glad CM Punk got the ratings up, even if it is only 1 week to go off. Hopefully they'll stay up next week.
I may cry if Punk loses to the World Heavyweight championship, within 3/4 weeks, to a steroid that one unfortunate day, happened to grow a human head.
