I give you credit for the review,but you seem as you dislike Punk,and honestly,its like your not giving him a fair chance.I for one,feel as Punk deserved the chance aswell,make the best of it.

I don't dislike Punk. I just don't think he's the living incarnation of all the greatest wrestlers of all time as a lot of people do for some reason. I find him to be a good overall wrestler, but not great as of yet. He just hasn't shown me enough. |

CM Punk is that Light shining from the future..Honestly i doubt he`s gonna mess this up..And when he does prevail..WWE will trust him and shove him down our throats..And Ill eat every second of it..Cuz Punk can work..Whether you like him or not..Hes good..And hell make you see it eventually..

For the most part, Id say you are right. Punk is overrated and one thing which bothers me is he climaxed to early, from the ECW reign he has just declined. He has lost so many matches thos year yet he is WHC. I cant view him as a World Heavyweight Champion at this point in time. When he won the ECW world title he was more suited than his current situation. I personally would have built him back up again before giving him the belt. But kudos to Punk for giving edge a taste of his own medicine. Id like to see you do more of these Hulkamaniac. I don't think Punk is necessarily over rated. I find him unproven more than anything. He's never had a run with a major title in a major company. (Please don't even bother claiming that ROH is a "major company.") It remains to be seen if he can carry the load or not. Well i meant ovverated in the sense that all the hype just built up to the point it brought him down. Punk was one of the years best stars in 07 but towards the end and mainly in 08 he's gone backwards. I do agree that punk is unproven, i think he should have had a credible feud with a top star and so on to at least build him. Guess we'll have to see how he does. |
