the only thing i found odd about last night was that Punk had been pretty much doing nothing but jobbing since winning the MITB. The fact that he came out at the "right opportunity" works just fine
it doesnt matter how he won the belt, what matters is what he does AFTER winning the belt.

WWE....repetetive?!?!?!?! ...don't be silly The least they can do is like what they did with RVD. Cash it in for a real match. None of this opportunity BS. Agreed.

The least they can do is like what they did with RVD. Cash it in for a real match. None of this opportunity BS. If you remember correctly, RVD won after interference from Edge, with Heyman coming in to make the 3 count. Not necessarily clean. I understand why some people think this makes Punk look weak, is more of a heel move, etc... but I disagree. I might agree if Punk pulled this on Triple H, but he has had a history with Edge. Edge cost him his ECW title, and has screwed him in the past. Also, Edge used MITB twice to win world titles, so it made sense for a face to beat Edge at his own game and outsmart the heel. Plus, Punk defeated JBL tonight after showing guts by defending his title, so he is still saving face that way as well. It was a hardcore match, and Heyman, as the owner of ECW, is allowed to count the pinfall.

That's why they had him beat JBL legit. So he wont be called that. And he instead a fighters champ who will fight anyone at anytime. And had an oportunity and took it. not really legit, seeing as JBL was distracted, if i am correct. that JBL's own fault he got distracted. and yes it is legit as its happened to many others before because one guy seem more concerned with whats happening outside of the ring.

Oh, whatever. If last night wasn't the perfect opportunity to cash in the title shot, then tell me what would've been..The only thing that I can think of would've been at the end of Night of Champions when Cena was beaten and out and Triple H was exausted and hurt. That would've been a perfect time to cash in too, but WWE didn't want him to. Not just yet. So, they had him hold onto it for another night and use it on Edge last night on Raw. Well, Raw does need a World title...Personally, I loved the surprise factor. It just made it THAT much better. No ammount of complaining/pissing and moaning from the Punk haters and the Edge marks could get me down. I am thrilled that C.M. Punk is the new champ. If they don't like it, TOUGH. You guys should've been expecting it. I know I was. Fixed. Im obviously not thrilled Punk beat Edge. Im happy for Punk but Im pissed he beat Edge.
