It's really awsome to see Kofi get a huge push, now with Carlito on SD! Kofi is my favorite wrestler on RAW and my second favorite overall. What I'm afraid of though is that the WWE will drop the ball with him. It's awesome. I'm the grammar police, you see.

Yea was surprised he won it off Jericho, went against the flow. But if they promote him properly, then gud luck... ever so slightly dodgy that he is actually ghanian but have made him jamaican but fairplay!!

He's hot right now, but at what point does he become stale? He can only do so much with being "Jamaican" and having an "unorthodox" style. He has a gimmick that is poised to lose interest in about a years time. Yet Cena is still going.......

I think Kofi was pushed too soon, personally. Sure, he is great in the ring, but we haven't seen any promos yet and he just jobbed cleanly to JBL the other week so, kayfabe wise, what did he to do deserve a shot at Jericho? It just doesn't make sense to me and I think it was a bit of a dissapointment. I am all for WWE pushing Kofi, but I think he should have been pushed in a feud first, been allowed to cut some more promos and after a while of building himself up on RAW, then going for the IC title. I concur about being pushed too soon. He's still pretty green and should have stayed on ECW for a few more months to work on his craft. I'd say if someone was being pushed correctly, it's Lance Cade right now.

They are not exactly 'pushing' him, They just randomly gave him the IC belt because they couldn't find any other face to hold it.

They need to make new stars, everyone currently pushed is stale

Yeah, I wouldn't consider Kofi winning the Intercontinental title last night as the correct way to push someone, as he has a lot to prove in the ring and still needs time to develop.
Maybe in a few months time, like at the Royal Rumble or after WrestleMania it would have been a great moment, but right now is just too soon, I believe. Kofi should have some success as champion against the mid-card of Raw, but I don't think his reign will last long and we might have another Carlito or Shelton Benjamin on our hands, which isn't exactly a compliment.

I agree with this 100 percent..This was too soon for Kofi..And it was ridiculous with Santino too..For me..There were the days for the IC title where it meant so much around the waist of guys like Mr.Perfect,HBK,and Bret Hart..And its sad to see what came out of it now..I hope we see Kingston VS Punk or something..Because they really need to give this division a rebirthing or something..

This was too early for him to get the title. Would have been nice to build him up some more.
