Punk...he always has good matches with Jericho and they could (and probably will) do an angle where HBK screws Jericho out of the title so that nothing is on the line when they finally face each other at SummerSlam or the Great American Bash.

London can say he too was a student of Shawn Michaels. Then Jericho can underistimate him and get beaten after interference from HBK. Giving London a push and possibly setting up for Cade & Jericho vs London & Michaels.

Kofi Kingston simply because he is in immediate danger of being forgotten about and giving him the IC strap would be a great way to introduce him as a star on Raw otherwise his career will hit the skids i fear.

CM Punk is the favorite because he needs to build some momentum to cash in the briefcase because lately it seems like he loses more than he wins so a IC title win would be cool.. This just sets up Jericho to win the IC title for another record 9th time though.. You know he will win it when they have him doing nothing.. I wish he would win a world tile!  |

It'd make a lot of sense to use Michaels, but then it may seem as though the feud's ending. I think it'd be best if someone new to RAW from the draft faced him and Michaels' cost Jericho the match, leaving them to continue feuding with the Intercontinental Title out of the picture--no more than it already has been, but at least that would allow if to be defended, etc.

I didn't, I just read the thread name. I think whoever would face him would have to be a face, so I'd have to go with Jamie Noble. It'd be a great way to get him known on RAW and I think he'd work well as IC champ. |

And OTE, I'm all in favor of either Punk or Kofi getting the shot and pulling off an upset. However, if reports of Noble being close to Michaels are true, how cool would that be for Noble to get the gold.. Even if only for 1 night.
