People have a lot of theories they have been throwing around, so maybe we can have a pseudo-official thread about it. Here's my idea, it is somewhat complex:
WWE Title: John Cena defeats Triple H at NOC, bringing the title back to Raw.
World Title: Edge defeats Batista at NOC, keeping the title on Smackdown.
ECW Title: Kane defeats Mark Henry and Big Show, gets traded to ECW for...
WWE Tag team Titles: Doesn't really matter who wins, but probably Finlay and Hornswoggle would make more sense. After they win, Raw trades Kane back to ECW for the new champions.
World Tag Titles: Ted Dibiase and DH Smith defeat Holly and Rhodes; since Ted was never really signed on either show, he defects to Smackdown with DH Smith, taking the titles.
Intercontinental Title: Stays on Raw with Jericho as champion.
US Title: Chavo Guerrero defeats Matt Hardy at NOC; gets traded to Smackdown for someone like Gregory Helms.
In conclusion, this would leave us with this situation:
Raw
WWE World Champ: John Cena
WWE Tag Team Champs: Finlay & Hornswoggle
Intercontinental Champ: Jericho
Women's Champ: Mickie
SmackDown!
World Heavyweight Champ: Edge
World Tag Team Champs: Ted Dibiase & DH Smith
U.S. Champ: Chavo Guerrero
Divas Champ: TBD
ECW
ECW Champ: Kane
My goal in all of this was to get the main titles back to the main shows and also get the WWE/Tag Team and World/World Tag Team on the same shows. The other way it could be done would be to have HHH retain/Batista win, then have Big Show win and trade him to ECW for Finlay and Hornswoggle. Personally, I like the idea of the WWE Championship being on Raw, but if they are trying to legitimize Smackdown more, it might make more sense to keep both of WWE-titled Championships on that show.
