I don't know if this is true as i got it off wikipedia, but apparently Jim Johnston who has been responsible for alot of WWE's entrance themes will be leaving the WWE en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Johnston_%28composer%29Can anyone confirm the truth in this?

Who cares, at least Jim Johnston is staying. Well at least the wikipedia got it correct, I mean without you to correct him on that one letter, crap we'd never know who's actually leaving. I would say don't trust it yet, there's no source on the wiki entry and I don't know if it's even been reported anywhere. Most of the news involving even him winds up on wrestling news sites. Most I've seen involving him was an interview with him about the music of WWE, not him leaving.

He has made some awsome theame over the years, so id be sad if its true.
But WWE seem to be using more "real" songs nowadays.

That stinks that he's leaving. He has made some amazing themes, but as dim said, half of the wrestlers these days use actual songs instead of WWE-made tunes which I don't neccessarily think is good.

"In June 2008, it was revealed that Johnston would soon be parting ways with WWE. A cut in his paycheck and the fact that he is being used less are both factors leading to his departure. Contents"
source? Seriously... just the way that's written sounds like someone dicking around on Wikipedia

I hope not. He composed one of (If not the) best theme songs. (I'm All About Cool)

Most non lyrical themes of lately have been kind of meh, they all sound like generic techno/rock. I remember when everyone had instantly recognizable music, now it's the select few at the top who don't get the generic stuff. I'm not sure if this is the WWE's doing or his direction with the themes.

Maybe he'll go to TNA and show them what a real theme is.
