In tag teams that split with one member going to stardom could you tell before hand which was the one meant for greater things.
Here are mine
1.The Rockers HBk I saw it a couple months before the split
2.ApA Never would have guessed that ever
3.E&C Thought they both were huge Edge is the start but christain is doin great even though it's the minor league in tna

With Edge & Christian, I really preferred Christian when they first broke up and slightly before.
I really liked Christian's gimmick when he first made the turn, but after a while I think he became dull as his gimmick became watered down and his look to me went downhill as well.
Edge, I really hated him as a face and maybe thats why I preferred Christian over him so much, but I think Edge is a really lame face, but overall I'd say I do prefer Edge now just because his gimmick and look and style is still really good.
Regarding APA, I NEVER in a million years expected Bradshaw to be a main event player. To be honest, I still sort of have a hard time believin it and I still can't really fully accept him as a main eventer because I just see his as one of the Acolytes or the guy who was in the New Blackjacks when I first started watching wrestling lol. I think he's good though ... in the ring he's nothing spectacular, but I dig his gimmick and I think he has excellent mic skills and character.
Even though I wasn't watching live then, but I think it was always obvious that Bret would skyrocket after the Hart Foundation. It was just clear he was the main event of the team, the REAL wrestler and the technical master. He also had a more accessible look.

Apparently, there was a time when Neidhart and Janetty were thought to be the stronger members of their respective tag teams.
Meh, can't win 'em all.
Anyway...
APA: I never thought either member was better, because I felt Ron's best years were behind him, and Bradshaw was never going to be any better than he was in the APA.
Hardys: I, like most, felt that Matt was the better brother, but that Jeff would end up going farther. Guess that puts me at 0-2.
Dudleys: I didn't bother. Like Sinatra once said,"This I tell you, brother...you can't have one without the other."
MNM: The fact that Nitro was rrrrrrrrripped like Jesus led me to believe he'd end up being more successful than Mercury.
The Outsiders: Neither was really very good at the time, but since Kevin Nash had the Book while Hall had a beer, we saw what happened.
Edge & Christian: Edge had more singles success after the breakup, while Christian continued to primarily be a tag team competitor. It wasn't until he got to TNA that he shined as a singles guy, and now I'd say they're somewhat on the same level.

2.ApA Never would have guessed that ever I think it's unfair to call Bradshaw the breakout star. Simmons was already a World Champion way before the APA and was retired at the end of the APA. I agree though, that I would have never thought Bradshaw would hit World Champion status. I thought Edge would surpass Christian but Christian did the smart thing and went to another company, became Champion.

It was always pretty obvious that Edge & Jeff Hardy would be the more favoured of E&C and The Hardyz.
I also always knew that Johnny Nitro & Melina were gonna break off from Mercury eventually.

well the APA shouldnt really count because simmons was on the back burner of his career and the outsiders because they were already established stars in their own right......but other teams would be the hart foundation(Bret) Harlem Heat(Booker T) E&C(Edge) Rockers(HBK) Hollywood Blondes (Austin) Hardy's(people may say Matt may also could be a huge star, i dont really ever see that happening, but Jeff is just way more popular and it seems like over the years WWE just gave him more opportunites to go far then as opposed to Matt) MNM(Johnny Nitro, he has all the potential in the world to go far) World's Greatest Tag Team(Benjamin, again all the potential in the world) Los Guerrero's(this was at the time Eddie was popularity was really going way over, and ofcourse he's 100 times better then chavo) Cade & Murdoch(Cade has potential to further his career as a top star)
