I flip in on for a few minutes here or there. I just can't watch it anymore. It used to be so much better. Just lame now.

I know how you feel man. It's terrible when you see the same crap matches every month on PPV and on Raw and SmackDown and where-ever. It's just too repetitive and predictable now.

WWE is more enjoyable when you are kids. But still the current wwe roster sucks.

I miss the days of Warrior, Bret Hart, Macho Man, Hogan. The Rock, Stone Cold, Angle later on. WWE just can't get that magic back.

I miss the Attitude Era. That's when I got into wrestling.
By the way, The Rock mocking Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Macho Man, and Bret Hart catchphrases on RAW in 1998 or 1999 is extremely funny.
*Sigh* I wish those days were back.

The thing is.. Theres way to many PPVs.. Theres one every 3 weeks it seems. That means only like 2-3 weeks to build up. Their idea of building up is having opponents that will be on the PPV have random matches on SD/Raw and thats were it gets boring and stale because the opponent ALWAYS ends up winning thus ruining a good match.. Like if its Batista vs John Cena at Summerslam.. Every match they have until Summerslam is with some random opponent like Batista vs MVP on SD.. Now that would be a good match but Batista needs the momentum heading into his match with John Cena so he squashes MVP in 3 mins. Now put that example into every match at the PPV.. and thats what gives us the crappy shows we get every week.
ECW on the other hand is much more enjoyable because they are not featured on PPVs as much so their matches on TV are less predictable and stale because you dont have opponents squashing other good talent to get momentum for the PPV.
Thats my view on this.

I dont think we should blame it entirely on our ages..Sure we were young and there were a lot of things we didnt know about..But the matches itself were better..Not like we have Triangle TLC matches in our Summerslams or Wrestlemanias anymore..Or a 24/7 Hardcore title..Or a good reigning wwe champion..

WWE is going on the way of the end like WCW did.

My dad was a fan of wrestling in 80s but now he isnt that big of a fan. I think WWE has lost popularity but I still think it is doing fine.

You know, I thought the Attitude era kind of sucked to be honest. The whole main event formula of brawling really wore thin on me.
It was fun and all, but I don't want it back. I don't miss any part of wrestling because I look forward to what's going to happen next.
I don't have a problem with the current product. Did Raw suck? Sure. But there are always times when it's going to suck. I love the Jericho-Michaels feud. The main event isn't too shabby either right now. Could it better? Of course, but I don't consider it boring and stale by any means.

If it's not broken why fix it? WWE will turn a profit whether they coast by or pull out all the stops.

WWE is going on the way of the end like WCW did. Getting bought out by WWE? hmm....i see a slight problem with that theory

You are 100% right, wrestling was so much better 10 years ago when Vince actually had competition, therefore had to actually write interesting storylines. Now, what is the alternative? TNA? Yuck, i'd rather choke on my own vomit.

Seriously I've been on these boards for several years now and it seems every other week we get a post like this. I don't think it's that bad. People bitch and moan about how horrible it is, hit post and then turn on Raw.

If only indy's like ROH and PWG could get a TV deal, WWE would have some better competition.

I remember back in the day that I would be sooooo pissed off if I missed Raw. I felt that way from the time I started watching the WWF in 91/92 right up through about three years ago. Now i can change the change during a segment and enjoy doing that more so than watching the show.
I really wish I knew why that happened. Because its funny, I can watch the hell out of old stuff from the late 80' through late 90's but when it comes to anything past lets say the year 2001 i simply cant even bother to watch it.

Yeah it seems it's the same old story line. Vince should put his money into some decent writers instead of giving it away.
