I picked it up earlier. This DVD is a prime example (so far anyway) of how f*cking weak it is that the Rock can't come around. Anytime they do DVD sets on someone (save for Warrior) the person always has commentary about their life, career, etc. So far, other than recorded interviews there is NOTHING from Dwayne Johnson. I've only made it about an hour and a half into it but the generic background voice guy did the intro so I dont' imagine Rock comes in at any point. Total BS in my opinion. And the sad thing is that he'll get plenty of money off this dvd and did crap for his fans as far as being a part of it. And don't give me that "he was in the ring for years" bs. The match selection is decent but as others mentioned, several bouts aren't there but at the same time, several of these matches are pretty hard to come by, at least the ones from the first disc anyway. Maybe this is the final farewell for him from the business. Good riddance.

Is it like Triple H King of Kings DVD? Yeah pretty much. Those two, Rey Mysterio's, Austin's, Cena's, & HBK's all follow the same format. The superstars are all on the dvd giving their story, unlike this one. But as far as actual setup, you get a brief intro for each match along w/ the stuff that happened between the previous and the next.

They must of hired a great look alike then to do all that stuff.

Maybe this is the final farewell for him from the business. Good riddance. Way to jump to conclusions. Ever think that his scheduling just wouldn't allow it? He is in quite a few movies these days. Filming takes up some time, and then all the publicity he'd have to do for it. As far as the matches, a couple odd choices (vs. Kane on Smackdown!?, vs. Triple H in the KOTR Quarterfinals? Really?) I wouldn't have put Wrestlemania 15 on it either, since it was just on Austin's DVD. I can understand the exclusion of 17 as well, since I'd imagine it's on a few DVDs as is. The only major exclusion I wish they put it in but it would have taken a large chunk of one DVD would be the Iron Man match he had with Triple H. Secondary choices include vs. Bret Hart from 97, vs. Triple H @ Summerslam 98, and vs. Jericho from No Mercy, which I consider better than the Rumble match. And consider Rock lost both...pfft. Actually, I'd take out his match with Booker as well because I never thought they really clicked very well in the ring. That's all just nitpicking, it's a fantastic match listing, and the DVD should be worth it for the promos alone. Toot toot...toot toot...

As I've said a million times The Rock doesn't owe the WWE anything, if anything the WWE owes The Rock. I'll def pick up the dvd.

I wonder if they even had to pay him?
They own the footage, the name, likeness and everything. If he didn't take part... Hmmmmmm. Maybe a small percentage or something...
Wrestlers need to negotiate some sort of cut of all this video library that gets pimped by the wwe.
