I loved this angle. It could have been huge. It felt like 1998 all over again. It was outrageous.

Benoit happened to f**king BEnoit this angle, which is sucky because it was really going places and the second best thing to happen since Vinny Mack Wrestling God and going over. umm what? it would be awesome if wwe would explain what would have happened if this storyline where to continue, cause i still want to know who "did" it and who the other person was that was in the car with vince.

I think that the Katie Vick angle was at least 0.001% better than this. Not to mention for the first time in about 5 years, I don't know why, but I thought something in wrestling was real. I agree. When I saw it I had to stop and remind myself that it was fake.

i thought this angle had serious potential... until they tolled the bell 10 times on ecw the next night. that was horrible. and offensive... this was the respect they gave to eddie, owen, pillman, and others when they passed away, and to use the same thing as part of a storyline, kind of sickening IMO...

lol, it wasn't a 'flopped' angle. It was an angle which had the world guessing about what's going and actually contemplating that he really DID blow himself up. It was well executed and could have been used well for several months and then have him dramatically return. The only reason it 'flopped' was because Benoit became an hero. So yeah, as well as butchering his wife and kid, he also ruined a storyline which could have gone places. n1 Benny.

It was one of the best things the WWE had done in years.
And then that intellectually- disabled person Benoit went more crazy then he already was.
