I'd still like to see anyone who claims this to be fake, to come up with one shred of evidence to support that claim. Because right now, it just sounds like a bunch of whiny marks. Ok, so we don't have any hard evidence to prove that it is fake. But on the flip-side, do you have any hard evidence to prove that it was real?? For all you know, Vince could've been phoning up some of the production crew in the back on their cell phones. I wouldn't doubt that at all. I've been watching wrestling for over 23 years man and I don't know how else to put this, but I just know better, that's all. I just know that this "Million Dollar Mania" giveaway is a complete sham and is totally set-up. Next thing you or someone else is going to say is that the voting for the Taboo Tuesday/Cyber Sunday is legit... EVERYTHING in wrestling is set up, from the outcomes, to the voting on matches, to this scam. You'd be an idiot to think otherwise. If it is as real as you'd all like to believe it is, prove to me. Show me some evidence that it is and I might change my opinion. But more than likely you can't and won't. So, my opinion is staying the same.

I love how people have the attitude "This is definately fake because that's what I believe and I am right and you are wrong". Jeez its probably the same people who think every PPV poster is fake.
I have no idea if its fake or not, but let it play out and we'll see. I just can't stand when people jump the gun on everything.

Some quick notes:
- It's not 100% that McMahon got Rick Roll'd. Ever heard of the guy being a fan of the song? I mean, not saying McMahon DIDN'T get Rick Roll'd. At the same time though, Drummet could've actually been a fan of the song.
- Lorenzo, you deserve NOTHING more than what I, or anyone else deserves. Hell, in all technicalities, i've been watching WWE longer than you... do I deserve some money more than you? No. Not to mention, the idea behind this is to try to get NEW VIEWERS to watch and attend RAW.
- Burning Sword, while that would be a good thing to do off-air... you honestly don't think it would take an additional 5 minutes to ask those questions. WWE wants to do this quick and easy. Call, name, password, win! And again, this is in hopes of getting NEW VIEWERS. Not keep the same "loyal" fans that bitch week in and week out. They know we'll continue watching, because we love wrestling. But they need/want higher ratings.
- People really need to stop claiming it's fake, due to the fact that they didn't win any money. We all know damn well if any of you would've won, you wouldn't be saying this. Stop being bitter about Tom Smith from Houma, Louisiana winning money and you didn't. So what, you didn't lose anything... life goes on.
- Mr. Old School, simply... get over yourself. This IS REAL! People are winning this money. McMahon is kinda taking page out of the late night money winning games (if anyone remembers these... are they still on?). Yes storylines and whatnot are fake, but this isn't. I'm willing to bet ( just simply for bragging rights ) that this isn't a scam and McMahon is doing this, once again, FOR NEW VIEWERS. Your an idiot for thinking anything more/less of it. If your such a "wrestling" fan, you'd know McMahon is a BUSINESS MAN and a BILLIONAIRE and will do something like this, as long as it increases ratings.
... again, you saying this is a scam just simply shows that your bitter, jealous and a TOTAL idiot.

Seriously, wouldn't it be illegal to falsely advertise this, if it was a work?
and if it was fake, WWE would fail miserably at what they are trying to accomplish by doing this. It would backfire and just make them look even more contrived. I don't think Vince would take the chance of being exposed, by faking a contest.

Well, excuse me for having a different take on this, you friggin' prick. I know Vince is a business man and a billionaire (I was at WrestleMania 23 for "The Battle of the Billionaires"), but I have my doubts that he would seriously want to give away 2 million dollars. Come on man, use your ing head here. Also, here are some quick points for you: #1 - I am NOT jealous of anyone who is apparently winning this money. If it is true, which I seriously doubt, and real like you claim it is, then good for them. I would be totally happy for the winners. #2 - If you can read, I am Canadian. Therefore, if you had been paying attention to what Vince said last week, only U.S. residents are eligible to enter this "contest". #3 - Even if I could enter this contest, I wouldn't because it would be a waste of my time. I know I wouldn't win because I know right from the start that it would be rigged, like everything else in wrestling. #4 - The ONLY way that I am bitter is that this stupid, rigged contest wasted so much air-time on Raw and cut back on alot of the matches. Regardless what you say, I'm sticking to my opinion, which I have every right to wether you like it or not, and saying this contest is a complete sham. A total set-up. The ONLY way that I'll believe this contest is real is if someone on here wins and even then I would still ask to see a picture of the cheque. And trust me, I am not going to hold my breath for that one because I know it'll never happen.

Like it was said earlier, if it was a scam, then it would hurt the reason there doing this....to boost ratings. Whether it have any effects on rating, we'll know shortly, but I don't see the WWE putting a scam for this.

Second, did you hear the reactions? come on, if Vince Mcmahon called I would be flippin and if he said i won 200,000 dollars I'd be going nuts. All these people were like...yeah, i won, bye ...please

Old School, you seem bitter that you can't win any money. Not saying that you are, but it does seem that way.
deskjet, people gave their full name and their address because McMahon ASKED for it. They know that they are talking to McMahon, not some stranger. For the registration form, you had to enter your full name... hence the reason they asked for it. To make sure they didn't dial the wrong number and give the money to the wrong person.
I say give it a week (next Monday), if we hear something about it being a scame... then i'll take back what i've said to all the jealous and bitter users on here that either didn't get called, or aren't able to enter.

two million is ALOT OF MONEY TO US.....Not Vince.
and if Vince called me, i'd be in "shock." Most people dont have hissy fitts where they are generally shocked.
You know why Vince is also giving this money away? IT'S A TAX DEDUCTABLE.
Vince wouldnt risk his company's raiting, by doing this, work style. Vince knows how much the fans would backfire against him for cheating them. I mean, how many commercials and adds did you see for this Million Dollar crap? I dont think theyd spend all the money on that stuff, just to hold a fake contest.
These sweepstakes/contests go on all the time and WWE does have these too. and have been having these contests for years. But apparently, some people will never believe, unless they actually win the contest. Hence: Mr. Old School.
Wrestling is fake, but you cant go on national TV, say your giving away two millions dollars, and lie about it. Because one, the backlash from the fans. Two, WWE gets a free 2 million dollar tax write off.
This is Vince using his money to get people watching every minute of RAW again. If it was fake, it would already been reported to be "fake."

Since when are people bitter and jealous when they say they don't think this contest is real? Maybe they just don't believe that the whole process is legit; no reason for everyone to jump on each other's backs because of their opinions.
Regardless, I was thinking it would be much more interesting if besides just asking for the password, Vince would throw out some classic WWF/E trivia that the person would also have to get right in order to win. Maybe give them 10 seconds tops to answer and if they aren't right, try again with someone else.

Seeing as how Vince got Rick Roll'd, there is no convincing me that it is legit. If he knew that was going to happen why would he have hung up on the guy and tried again? They don't even watch wrestling anymore because they all think it's garbage now and I can't really blame them. It is pretty unbearable now, you can't deny that. I hope I made myself clear. Thank you.
