Seeing as how Vince got Rick Roll'd, there is no convincing me that it is legit.

It kinda pisses me off that the contest is open to everyone. I've been watching WWF/WWE for 18 years. I think they should do it based on seniority and how many years you've watched.
It just doesn't seem fair that I don't win, but Dingleberry McCockknocker who never watched WWE in his life but heard about the contest online can sign up and win? Doesn't seem fair.
I want something, SOMETHING...ANYTHING for my 18 years of pumping time and money into Vince McMahons product.
I just feel like I should have some kind of edge over somebody who's watching for the first time JUST for the contest.

Anyone who answers the phone can say they've been watching for just as long.

If that Rick Roll thing was actually real.. then that has got to be the funniest moment this year.

Anyone who answers the phone can say they've been watching for just as long. They should ask five trivia questions from wrestling promotions that they own the footage of (or just strictly WWE). If you get most right, you get the money.

Also to those who are saying it is fake... I would be more likely to think it is fake if the people had been screaming and acting dumb when they won it. You are going to be in shock at first when he calls then if you notice they cut the audio pretty quick after the call. I like how the internet tries to blow everything up and make it look like everything is so terrible and fake.

Good thing I didn't win because they couldn't have posted what I would do with it on their website. Why? Because, I would be going to Bound For Glory '08 in IL.

I'll bet if McMahon called one of you guys who are calling it "Fake", you'd shut the up. What's the matter with people having a different reaction than you would to winning money? I've never seen or heard anyone win 250,000 dollars and just go, wow, thanks. Usually they are screaming like, OH MY GOD, I WON, THIS IS AWESOME, WOOOO! exactly, it was like that for all the calls mostly

I watch wrestling to WATCH WRESTLING. lol, then why are you watching RAW? RAW hasn't featured good wrestling in a long time. If you actually want to watch some decent wrestling, watch ECW tomorrow. I disagree. Michaels vs. Jericho from a couple weeks ago, despite a non-finish, was a damn fine match.

Not to mention, that the basic premise behind this, is to hook in new viewers..

Like it or not this is a great idea by Vince. I was over at my parents house watching RAW and my dad who never watches wrestling was interested in the give away and got on wwe.com to register and actually watched the entire show and said he enjoyed it. I know the internet will tear this up but it is an outstanding idea on Vince's part. And here is the myspace profile of the guy who won $75,000 profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=60736896I don't see why people think it is not real. 1million dollars is alot of money yes but to a guy like Vince McMahon and WWE that amount is not totally outrageous. Give up trying to prove it is fake. Could it be that all but like one person who won tonight had no enthusiasm about winning at all? Surely if the people were planted - wouldn't they be made to act like they're over the moon? I just think the people who won tonight didn't want to make asses of themselves on national TV.

Am I the only one that thinks this "give away" is fake and these people aren't even real? Nope, you aren't the only one that thinks that. If you ask me, I'd say Vince was calling the wrestlers cell-phones in the back and they just used a bunch of fake names. You think Vince actually wants to give away money to the fans?? If you seriously believe that, then you guys are the most gullible suckers of all-time. Like I said in the other thread, this is wrestling and with everything else associated with wrestling, the fix is in and this is no different. Vince is a friggin' con-man. Probably one of the best con-men of all-time and he's certainly fooling the majority of people here by making you believe this is real. Well, I've got a news flash for you all. NOTHING in wrestling is real. Not even this scam.

I believe this is real I think WWE would get alot of crap if they let people register for a prize that was fixed granted it was free registration but it's still deceiving, the only one I dont think was real was the woman who won 2 dollars she either won 1,002 dollars or was a wwe employee, im pretty sure the rest was real. Do you really think WWE would get an actor to say "holy crap" when they're going for a more child orientated audience.

Do you really think WWE would get an actor to say "holy ****" when they're going for a more child orientated audience. If they want to make you believe it's real and totally legit, then yeah. I wouldn't put it past them for a second to do something like that.

I'd still like to see anyone who claims this to be fake, to come up with one shred of evidence to support that claim. Because right now, it just sounds like a bunch of whiny marks.
