Well the last time Raw was here in the city of Boston, it was Monday, August 27, 2007, the night after SummerSlam and the night Randy Orton punted John Cena's dad in the head. I was with a WF member sitting 3rd row for that one, and it was really fun. Nowww... almost a year later, I would think they'd bring Raw back to Boston very soon. I've been keeping an eye out on their Live Events calendar under Monday, August 25th, because the next night on Tuesday, SmackDown is in Pittsburgh, and they're always in Pittsburgh right after Boston.
So at the moment, the Mon. Aug. 25th spot is not filled, so I'm thinking they're purposely keeping it open so that when WWE is in the Boston area in late-July, they will announce a sale for Raw.

I just want them to come back to providence, and why do you want a raw? you're getting Survivor series so I don't think they would have 2 events in 3 months.

I just want them to come back to providence, and why do you want a raw? you're getting Survivor series so I don't think they would have 2 events in 3 months. It's actually 5 events in 3 months... There's a Super Show in Springfield, and a house show in Hyannis and Cohasset. No need to act like I'm being greedy. WWE does hundreds and hundreds of events per year and I cannot change their schedule to fit your needs. I'm just stating the obvious, that Raw is usually in Boston once a year, and it's been pretty close to a year since their last show here. August 25th on their calendar hasn't been filled yet, and the fact that they're in Pittsburgh on the 26th is a dead giveaway that Raw will be in Boston on the 25th, since Pittsburgh has always been their stop right after Boston. There was a Super Show in Providence in January, I was there. There's going to be Raw at Mohegan Sun, which is not that far of a drive, and a Super Show and 2 house shows in the surrounding areas like I said, not to mention another house show in Hampton Beach, NH, which is also not that far from RI.

alright I'm sorry, I'm just saying you get a ppv, and Providence is the only place I will go see a wwe show since I suck at directions and would get lost. I guess I just want to see the wwe, I'm sorry if I sounded like an ass.

I guess I just want to see the wwe, I'm sorry if I sounded like an ass. No dude, I completely understand. You can't be any worse at driving to new places than I am. I use a GPS and I'm still kinda afraid to drive on the highway. I learned how to use the subway in Boston so I don't have to drive to the arena, and for shows at The Dunk in Providence, I usually take a cab. So I definitely understand where you're coming from. The Dunk is an amazing place to have a WWE show, and the SuperShow in January was great. They are holding Backlash there in 2009, and I am sure they will get a house show and a televised event between now and then. Backlash should be excellent because it's always a Wrestlemania caliber event with all the re-matches that take place. Just remember, for any major arena, it's always one event every 3-4 months. The Dunk should be getting one very soon and I'd be surprised if they don't. If not Providence, keep an eye out for Kingston, RI, but the WWE will always come to RI because also don't forget, retired referee Tim White has his bar "The Friendly Tap" in Providence. Hope that helps, buddy.

I drive, but with the way gas prices are you can take the commuter rail or Greyhound up there since they are within walking distance and that way you can have a lot more fun and not be stuck waiting in the line to get out of a parking garage or even yet the cost would probably be cheaper.

Yep. I drove to the Garden once for SmackDown/ECW in 2006 and parking was $30 or $40... I spent maybe $6 taking the T, and it took no longer than 45 min. to get there. I parked my car in Newton Centre, a minute or two from where I go to college, and parking there is always free after 6pm, so it's much much better than driving to the Garden, and like you said, we have a lot more fun because there's no hassle.

Orton kicking Cena's dad was comedy gold.
Actually, it seems all Cena's dad does in August is get beaten up by his son's rivals. 2006 - Edge. 2007 - Randy Orton. Hopefully we see HHH knock on Cena Sr.'s door, with old Sledgey in hand.

Some times I'll be lazy and drive down because I hate dealing with trying to get on the train after the show it's so annoying but there have been times where we have found metered parking around Government Center/City Hall Plaza and the meters run till 8:00 p.m. so if you're lucky to find one you can feed the meter as well.

Does that mean like you automatically get tickets? And what are the chances of getting front row seats?

The mailing list doesn't automatically get you tickets, never mind front row. All the mailing list does is keep you up-to-date on coming events in your area. So if you live in the Boston area, and join the TD Banknorth Garden's mailing list, and select that you want them to notify you the next time WWE is in town, they'll e-mail you like a month in advance to when tickets go on sale, and sometimes with a pre-sale password, so that you can gain early access to tickets, but even then, getting front row is slim to none because pre-sale only allows access to a limited number of select seats.
The best way of getting front row, if not on Ticketmaster, is to check eBay and StubHub, but you'll pay an arm and a leg. That's because most front row seats are given to people who work at the arena, friends/relatives of the wrestlers, etc.

Some times you can get good seats and sometimes you don't. I may not get front row, but the best seats I've gotten through a presale is 2nd row for a Smackdown taping. Also I refuse to do ebay and stubhub because I'd rather pay the standard price and know that I got a legitimate ticket than take a chance of getting ripped off by someone asking 10X more for the tix.
Also, I do know for a fact that the best way to actually get front row for TD Banknorth Garden is to go to there in person. My friend goes all the time and every time I go to a show she's in the same area in the front row. For me it's no big deal because as long as I can get within the first few rows I'm happing which I usually do, but if not I like the loge section that way I can get pictures without dealing with obstructions.

I knew about going to the Garden the day of and getting front row. A friend of mine does it, too. I wanted to keep it hush hush, though.. lol But yes, that is a great way of getting front row to a WWE show at the Garden in Boston. On eBay, you have to be careful with buying tickets, but spotting a legitimate seller is fairly easy. Just look at their feedback to see if they regularly sell tickets, and if the feedback from buyers are good and there have been no problems, chances are the guy won't rip you off or sell you fake tickets. The only instance I've heard about fraud is from StubHub, where my friend from school bought tickets to a Van Halen concert in Worcester through them, printed out his tickets, and was rejected at the gate of the arena because they wouldn't scan. He got his money back from StubHub (which is now owned by eBay, I think), so it wasn't all that bad. Getting scammed is bad enough, but not getting your money back is even worse, so thankfully that wasn't the case. You've just got to be careful and selective when buying tickets from scalpers online. Some of them have high prices, so it's best to just wait until the auction is about to come to a close, or if they have a "Make Offer" feature, make your best offer and see if the seller accepts. I have gotten 2nd, 3rd, and 4th row ringside from Ticketmaster, all at WWE shows in the Garden. It's pretty easy, you just have to be on Ticketmaster 10 min. or so before the event goes on sale, and keep searching 'til you have the seats you want. Oh, and I'm pretty sure the more seats you want to buy, the lesser chance you have of scoring rows 1-5. They're already somewhat limited, and I thought I was lucky to get Row 3 for me and two of my friends last December for SmackDown/ECW. Pre-sale works, too, I'm sure. I've just never had any luck with it.

I found it works because I was so quick to take the first set of tickets to come up, but there have been times I'd do that and go back and check for the hell of it and better seats would come up.
Another way I heard is also going to the arena the day of the show because I heard from some people who got lousy seats in the beginning go down about an hour or so before the show and end up with better seats.
Ebay has been good to me though when I used it because most of the people I dealt with were the ones who would buy the tickets and then something would come up and they were just looking to sell and not make money from it, but so far so good Ticketmaster has been very good to me!

Raw just needs to come back to the G-Boro Coliseum, and I'll be happy.
