Considering all the money WWE has made from him, i would say a fantastic decision. Yeah he may sucks as WWE champion, but they guy is dedicated to the business and brings in tons of revenue, that's one thing that we can give him. I would say David Arquette as WCW champion and WWE constantly trying to brainwash us into think Chris Benoit never wrestled by trying to delete him from wrestling history.

Not pushing Owen Hart in 1998 as a main eventer! He was the last Hart left and they should've really rolled with him as a top performer and they blew it. I always look back at the Rumble from that year and the huge reaction he received when he came out. Too this day, I dont understand why they didn't put him back in there to feud with Austin. Then they throw him in the Nation and bring him back to the same position he was a year before hand. Then they throw him with Double J which was alright. Then they made him the ing blue blazer again for no reason. But he should've been World Champion by that point. - Another stupid decision in my eyes speaking of pushes, is Razor Ramon not going past the IC title picture after years of being in it. - How bout not putting the WWF title on Luger at Summerslam 93' after actually giving him a humongous push.

You had that under the wrong section. no he has that right Kennedy got suspended so instead of him it was hornswoggle Yes, exactly why it should have been under wrestler making a mistake, because he got caught with steroids. He made the mistake and that is why he got suspended.

I think the Great Khali should have never been hired. There are enough "big men" in the sport right now, and nobody cared about him to begin with. The guy has zero talent in every department.

The reason for this is that Austin refused to work with Owen one-on-one after Owen's botched piledriver to Austin at Summerslam 1997. While Owen simply made a mistake, Austin never felt safe getting in the ring with him again and I believe he didn't apologize to Austin after it happened, so there was a grudge there for a while. As for Owen's main event push against HBK during late 1997 being ended abruptly, it has been said in the past that Michael's did not want to run a main event program with Owen as he feared that Owen might shoot on him in the ring because of his relationship with his brother Bret. It was a shame that Owen wasn't given that second chance at another main event, but so goes life (and wrestling politics, for that matter). Also, Scott Hall was a notorious alcoholic so I'm sure that partly had to do with his never carrying the WWF title. He was given a shot at the Royal Rumble 1993 event versus Bret, but he was never going to become champion from what I've heard/read over the years.

Not having them get fulll body examinations every year. Not having a drug testing for several years before eddie. Not testing wrestlers for concussions atleast 4 times a year. Curt Hennig, Eddie Guerrero, and The Pegasus Kid could all be alive. Henning died from ODing on Cocaine. If they found it in his system, that doesn't mean he would of stopped. As for The Pegasus Kid, how would they have known he would of murdered his family like a piece of crap?

for everyone saying owen, yes, that was an awful tragedy, but let's not forget that sting and hbk have used similar entances many times. it's not like they decided to do it only that one time and he fell to his death. we can't play it safe all the time in life!

I am so tired of the bias on this board towards WCW.
First of all, in the 90's WCW was a far better product and making more money than WWE. WWE wouldn't be where it is today without WCW.
Secondly, what is with all of these bashers of David Arquette winning the title when Vince put the WWF title on himself in almost the exact same manner as WCW put the title on Arquette?
Vince was like 55 years old at the time and a non-wrestler. No real difference between Vince and Arquette other than vince had a physique and Arquette did not.
Not to mention that if you want to talk about bad decisions, how about any time Vince gets in the ring with his top stars and gives them a competitive match? Just because you're big and jacked up on roids, doesn't mean that automatically makes you able to compete with trained wrestlers when you're a 55-65 year old man who is not a trained wrestler.
Talk about idiotic? How about having 12 time World Champion Hulk Hogan, who the year before had a competitve magical match with The Rock and then he has to go and have a hard time beating McMahon the following year. For Christ's sake. Hogan has beaten Flair, Andre, The Rock, HHH, Savage, every big name superstar of the last 20 years, and he had a hard time with a non-wrestler who is even more ancient than Hogan is? Come on now! Talk about casual fans having their intelligence insulted.
Then how about HHH killing off any future superstar that could've been made in the last 8 years? Booker, RVD, Orton, Edge. Not to mention burying Goldberg and Steiner. He's the worst politician in the history of the business, INCLUDING Hogan. In 2001, between Nitro and Raw, there were about 10 million wrestling fans tuning in to wrestling every Monday Night. Now it's down to about 3 Million. If HHH has been so great as the top dog for the last 8 years, why have 7 million people stopped watching wrestling during that same time? Why have ratings for Raw gone from mid 6's to mid 3's? HHH has kept more young talent down than Hogan or Nash ever did. That was the big complaint about WCW right? That they never built new talent? Well aside from Batista and Cena, who has been built into credible main eventers in the last 8 years of WWE? Edge? He was drawing a much higher rating in the 5's when he first won the title. Then HHH wanted the belt back on Cena so he could face him at Mania that year, and Edge ended up with a short first title reign that HHH has mocked in interviews ever since. Then when HHH wanted to be the focus of RAW again, they shipped Edge to The B Show on Smackdown and he's an afterthought now. Would Edge have closed out Mania this year with the Smackdown title if his opponent was anyone other than Taker? I think not.
Orton will never recover from being HHH's bitch boy. Orton has dropped the title to HHH 3 time's now. Randy Savage dropped the title to Hogan three times but at least that was over a 10 year period.

mmm the difference between them two is vince is Vince McMahon, he knows wrestling and been on plenty of wrestling angels before. Tho him winning title was bad, not nearly as bad then bringing in a skinny loser actor who never had anything to do with wrestling before, win a WORLD title.

What good came fron david beeing champ? None. But when vince decided to created Mr. Mcmahon, he spark one of the most memorable and legendary rivalries in the history of wrestling period. Thats what happens when you put your body on the line for your company. No one can say that Vince wont do ______ to further the business. And beside the recent crapfest with Flair on RAW, all of Vinces matches with actual superstars were pretty good. Definatley a better decision than making a wrestler AND HIS FREAKIN MOTHER the world tag team champions

If you're referring to Judy Bagwell, she won the titles with Rick Steiner, not Buff Bagwell.
