In any wrestling weather it was WWF, WCW, ECW w/e. There has been plenty of stupid decisions these companies tried. What do you think was the dumbest?
My answer would have to be David Arquette winning the WCW World Title. Not only do I think it was the dumbest wrestling decision ever, what a slap in the face to all these hard working wrestlers who never got to win a world title. Give it to David Arquette for a few weeks! UN REAL

Not having them get fulll body examinations every year. Not having a drug testing for several years before eddie. Not testing wrestlers for concussions atleast 4 times a year.
Curt Hennig, Eddie Guerrero, and The Pegasus Kid could all be alive.

Arquette as Champ for sure. The common viewers already thought of wrestling as some side show muscle boud soap opra. Then you futher confirm thier narrowminded beliefs by letting AN ACTOR WITH NO TRAINING AT ALL become a part of a list of champions that includes the likes of Ronnie Garvin, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Sting, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and so many more who paved the way for pro wrestling today.
Second is the decision WWE made to refer to their product and talent as entertainment and sports entertainers. I personally think its a bit of a slap in the face to refer to a pro wrestler as a sports entertainer.

Having Owen go down on a cable. You know what, other than regular drug testing during years when WWF/E was relaxed on the issue, I completely agree with this as a terrible decision in pro wrestling's history. David Arquette winning a fake World Title in a fake sport is one thing, but risking and unfortunately taking the life of a human being is a complete other, and Owen should not have been in the rafters that night. Owen wasn't comfortable doing it in the first place and Vince should have respected his wishes. |

Not the worst ever, but dropping the CW title sucked. I hope Helms ignites the division again when he comes back. Or even Mysterio tbh. Because I hope Helms goes for US gold when he's back.
