TNA No Surrender September 14, 2008The show begins with a fantastic display of pyro while the camera circles around the arena, showing the crazy TNA fans. The camera would end up on Mike Tenay and Don West, who welcome the fans who are watching on pay per view. The two go over the events that led up to this pay per view, which is followed by a run down of the card. We get started with knockouts action. TNA Women’s Championship: Cheerleader Melissa def. Awesome Kong & Gail KimTo say this match was entertaining would be a understatement, this was a great match. The entire match was back and forth, except for the end, and the crowd was solely behind Kim in this one. In fact, the crowd was what made it entertaining. Since Kim is from Toronto, Canada, the entire arena was filled with “Let’s Go Gail!” chants. The atmosphere was awesome, but the quality was about average. The three got a little confused sometimes, especially when it came to a spot. Overall, however, the match was good. About three minutes before the ending, the Beautiful People came out and attacked Kim, behind the ref’s back of course. As they did to ODB and her partners, they placed the paper bag on Kim’s head. She was out for the rest of the match, and Kong and Melissa finished. Melissa would retain her title when she hit the Curb Stomp. After the match, she celebrated, until Kong attacked her, looks as if Kong wants the belt. Rating: C+ Backstage, Crystal Louthan is standing with the TNA X Division Champion, Consequences Creed. Crystal begins saying, “Creed, up next you take on Kaz. Right now, he seems like a blood thirsty animal, are you nervous?” Creed looks at his belt before he answers, “Crystal, he isn’t blood thirsty, he’s gold thirsty. You see, this entire thing is about jealousy. He is jealous about me, getting the gold, and I have not even been here for a full year. All what he wants is to earn credibility, and Kaz, tonight, you won’t earn, you’ll lose…” Before Creed is able to finish his sentence, Petey Williams walks in. The two stare for a little bit before Williams walks off. Creed continues, “Like I was saying, instead of earning credibility, you’ll lose it.” TNA X Division Championship: Kaz def. Consequences CreedMy god, after this match, the fans were breathless. This match was full of technical, highflying, and fast-paced action, and the fans absolutely loved it. The entire match was back and forth action, and from the start, you could tell these two are almost mirror images. They both did their best in entertaining fans, and went beyond. The only problem was that you could predict many moves, you could just see them coming. Nevertheless, this was definitely the match of the night, and I would love to see these two take each other on again. The match went for about 15 minutes, but I wish it could have gone longer. The match would end with Kaz hitting the Flux Capacitator, winning the TNA X Division Championship. Rating: B In the locker room, Jeremy Borash is sitting with the number one contenders of the TNA Tag Team Championships, the Motor City Machine Guns. Borash started saying, “Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, up next, you two finally get a shot at the TNA Tag Team Championships. I know you two are trying to concentrate on your match, but I need a word with you two.” The Motor City Machine Guns look at each other before saying, “Sure JB, we don’t mind.” Borash proceeds, “Guys, up next, you face two men who are twice the size of you two, are you guys ready for this challenge?” Shelley grabs the microphone, “Jeremy, we have been ready, mentally and physically, for this match for along time. We are ready for this match. Who cares about the size, it’s all about the skills.” Sabin comes in, “That’s right. Bernard and Tomko, be ready, because we are going to give this match everything we got.” The two walk off, jumping up and down. TNA Tag Team Championships: Motor City Machine Guns def. Giant Bernard & TomkoIn the past, these two teams had had a lot of chemistry with each other. However, tonight, both teams seemed a little off. For the most part, the match was back and forth, but MCMG had a step ahead at the beginning, coming in with a surprise attack. The quality was decent, but it was not the best, and should have been much better. There was a lot of miscommunication, and no one just showed up to wrestle tonight. Now, this was a good match, but at parts, it was somewhat questionable. However, the crowd seemed really into it, but the previous matches, they were going crazy. Anyways, the match lasted about 14 minutes, which is a reasonable time, but it could have gone for another minute or two. MCMG would win the titles when they hit Tomko with the ASCS Rush. The team celebrated before they left. Rating: C Before the next segment, a commercial for the new TNA iMPACT video game airs. In the back, Crystal Louthan is standing with Sonjay Dutt, who is accompanied by So Cal Val. Crystal begins saying, “Sonjay, your match with Jay Lethal, in the Six Sides of Steel, is up next. Is there any last words for Lethal before you go out for the match?” Dutt answers very quickly, “Oh yeah, yes I do. Jay, Kaz is not the only one jealous tonight. You are also jealous, jealous about Val’s love for me. Now, I know that you and she were going to get married, but have you ever thought that Val does not love you anymore? Jay, maybe you want to try some other women in TNA. Hey, there is always Roxxi, Cheerleader Melissa, hell there is even ODB. Jay, you need to stop acting like a baby, and be more mature, like me.” Six Sides of Steel: Sonjay Dutt def. Jay LethalThis was a good match, not as good as other bouts these two have had together. The match was in Dutt’s hands the entire time, it was near a squash, but Lethal almost had the victory many times. However, Dutt would always find a way out, even using Val as a distraction. The story with this match has been great, but like some thought, this would be the end, turns out it wont. Anyways, Lethal was busted happen about halfway through the match, but he stayed in there, fighting for Val, even though he knew the two were no longer with each other. The rest of the match was decent, but when the fans quieted down a little bit, the quality went down, due to no support. The match would end at about the 18 minutes mark, when a distracted Lethal got rolled up by Dutt. Dutt, being the coward he is, quickly got out of the cage, to stay away from an angry Lethal. Lethal would stay in the cage, frowning, with a look of evil in his eyes. Rating: C+ Followed by the match is a quick commercial for TNA Bound for Glory, which is next month on PPV. TNA No Surrender returns from the commercial with Jeff Jarrett’s theme music blasting through the arena, while fans begin to boo. Jarrett makes his way down to the ring, with a microphone in his hand. He gets to the ring, and says on the microphone, “TNA fans, as all of you know, next month is Bound for Glory, the biggest show all year in TNA. Well, I was thinking, since it is the biggest show, I should have an open challenge. Anybody, anybody in the locker room can challenge me. Hell, I will even take challenges from fans.” Jarrett stops, to look around the arena, he gets back on the microphone, “Never mind. Just to go over what I said, since I know a lot of the guys in the back are not that fast at thinking, open challenge at Bound for Glory, anyone…” Jarrett was about to say something, but is interrupted by the Raven calls. Finally, Raven’s theme song plays, and the fans go nuts. There is no sign of Raven, but Jarrett looked scared to death. Could we see Jarrett versus Raven one more time? After the segment, a video showing what led up to this final match between AJ Styles and Kurt Angle airs. Last Man Standing Match: AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle went to a No ContestWow, this was a great match up, but to the fans surprise, it was not near as good as their other bouts. The entire match, all twenty minutes of it, was action packed and had the fans into it. There was really no problem, aside from a few botches. Both Styles and Angle were bleeding about eight minutes into the match, and by the end, they had to be in bad shape from all of the blood lose. No doubt, this would be on a best of the bloodiest brawls match. However, that was the real problem; there was not much technical wrestling in this match. It was mostly brawling and crazy spots. However, the crowd was still entertained, which was really all they wanted. Nevertheless, this was a good match, and it was almost match of the night. The ending was great, when Styles hit the Sprial Tap, which was followed by Angle’s Olympic slam. The two sat there for the ten seconds, making the match go to a no contest. The feud was finally over, but these two may meet again in the future. Rating: B Yet another commercial for Bound for Glory airs after the match. Backstage, Jeremy Borash is standing with Samoa Joe’s challenger tonight, Christian Cage. Borash said with great enthusiasm, “Christian, up next, you take on Samoa Joe, in your hometown of Toronto, Canada. Do you think you’ll have some sort of home field advantage tonight against the Samoan Submission Machine?” Christian answers quickly, “You know JB, you don’t need to state the obvious and ask a stupid question. You see, with all of my Canadian peeps out there, cheering me on, I will have all the momentum I want. Tonight, you bet I will win. I’ll win for Canada, my peeps, and most of all, my family.” TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Christian Cage def. Samoa JoeMy god, this was a brilliant match up, definitely a runner up for match of the night, along with the previous one. The match was back and forth for the most part, but with Cage’s “peeps” cheering him on, his momentum was off the charts. Samoa Joe’s offensive moves could not even keep Cage down for a one count, and you could tell Christian would be walking home with the gold tonight. However, when Samoa Joe hit the Muscle Buster, which the Coquina Clutch, silence, followed fell over Toronto. The two and a half seconds Christian was on the mat was the longest seconds he has ever had. However, with a surplus of momentum, Cage found the strength to kick out and continue the match. He would continue the match, giving it his all, and eventually winning. That is right; Cage would win when he hit the Unprettier, making him the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. After the match, he would celebrate in the crowd. Rating: B The show would end with Mike Tenay and Don West thanking the fans for watching and telling them to tune into TNA Impact this Thursday to see the effects of tonight’s show.

I liked the main event, but I'm not sure on Cage winning the gold, I would have prefered for Joe to lose the title at Bound For Glory. Styles/ Angle was a great way to end their feud, and I'm glad you went with Styles going over. Kaz as the new X-Division champion is awesome, and its made even better by the MCMG getting the tag titles, hopefully they all have good title reigns. The Dutt/ Lethal match sounded good, although their feud is getting stale. The Knockouts match was solid, and it's good to see Melissa retaining the title.

Good show. Surprised there were only six matches though. Don't really like Melissa being the women's champion. Kaz as x champ = awesome though, I must say. Glad Dutt picked up the surprise win, although it made it sound like the feud wasn't over. But I don't know how you can top a cage match. Unless that was the end, just you didn't want to make Lethal look weak. Glad Angle-AJ feud is over, and a no contest doesn't hurt either. Christian winning the belt is awesome, interested to see who he fights at BFG. Overall solid show. Please reply to my Santino diary whenever.

Nice opening Womens title match, and I'm suprised Melissa picked up the win here, Awesome Kong would of been a better winner tbh. Weird about you placing Ultimate X on this early in the PPV. Seemed like match of the night to me. I enjoyed the tag team titles match and I am glad in which MCMG picked up the win. I dislike your decision to put a Six Sides of Steel on this PPV as well as Ultimate X, and having this almost like a squash, at least [and I hope] you ended the feud. Glad that AJ/Angle's feud has been finished off with a draw. Great main event, glad that Cage won the gold.

TNA Global Impact Mexico September 16, 2008The show begins shortly after the pyro goes off and an opening video airs. Followed by the opening, Mike Tenay and Don West welcome wrestling fans to Global Impact Mexico. The two go over what has happened the past few days here in Mexico and what the TNA wrestlers have be doing. Finally, Tenay goes over the card for tonight, which includes a variety of TNA and CMLL superstars battling each other. Traditional Lucha Libre Match (2 out of 3 Falls/6-Man Tag): La Sombra, Sagrado, & Volador Jr. def. Johnny Devine, Sonjay Dutt, & Petey WilliamsThis was a great way to open the show, traditional Lucha Libre at its best. Team CMLL dominated most of the match, but Team TNA had the limelight for a little bit. The crowd was fiery hot, especially since the rudos, also known as heels, of Team TNA were taking on the tecnicos, the faces, of Team CMLL. However, nothing too crazy went down. Overall, this was a good match up, but nothing close to what is to come later tonight. This match lasted about eleven minutes, which was a great time, and just enough to display everyone’s wrestling skills. Team CMLL would win they hit the first pin, pinning Dutt after Sagrado hit the Double Jump Plancha; and when Volador hit the third pin after he executed the Asai Moonsault. Rating: B- Motor City Machine Guns def. Rey Bucanero & Ultimo GuerreroThis was another great match, much better than last meeting between these two teams. The entire match was full of highflying, fast pace action, and incredible aggressiveness from every participant. However, there were a few kinks the two teams needed to work out if they plan to face each other again; one being the number of botches. I know there can be excessive botches in Lucha, but this was out of hand. The reason was most likely because of how fast they were going, but both teams are very skilled in speed, so that could not have been the problem. On the other hand, the crowd was really into this match, actually cheering for MCMG, because Bucanero and Guerrero are rudos. Nevertheless, this was still a great match no matter how much botches there was. MCMG would win the match when they hit the ASCS Rush on Guerrero. After the match, Mephisto and Ephesto attacked MCMG, cross-promotional feud? Rating: B Six-Man Tag Team Action: Shocker, Marco Corlone, & Alex Koslov def. Jay Lethal, Kaz, and Austin CreedJust like the first match, this was traditional Lucha Libre. In addition, this match was about the same time, quality, and styles, very fast and entertaining. However, the only thing that was different was the crowd reaction. Usually, the Arena Mexico crowd is very lively, but this time, it was almost dead silence. Hell, it seemed like it was Global Impact Japan all over again. Both teams, regardless of fan support, stayed in the match, and the quality was above average. Team CMLL was a step ahead for most of the time, but Team TNA getting some close pins, but other than that, it was a one sided affair. In fact, Team CMLL would pick up the win when Corlone, also known as Mark Jindrak, hit Creed with the Air Corlone. Rating: C+ Special Attraction Match #1: Mistico def. AJ StylesWow, this single handedly made this show awesome. These put on the best thirty-minute match I have ever seen in my life. The entire match was full of highflying, fast pace, and pure wrestling, and it entertained the fans to their fullest. However, there were some botches, but the fans had no clue about them, they were too much into the great wrestling. Both wrestlers were worn out, bloody and sweaty by the end of this match, but they wrestled their best, and even beyond there best, to entertain the fans. This was definitely match of the night, and a match of the year candidate. TNA fans, this is necessary watch match, and it should be in both wrestlers’ best of DVD. Anyways, other than how amazing this match was, there isn’t much too talk about. The match was back and forth, should have been the main event, and the two have such great chemistry together. Mistico would win when he hit the La Mistica. After the pin, the two got up, shook each other’s hands, and hugged. Rating: A Special Attraction Match #2: Dr. Wagner Jr. def. Kurt AngleUnlike all of the previous matches, this was terrible. Possibly the worst match of the night, these two had no chemistry what so ever. You would think that after those matches with Styles, Angle would be able to take on the Lucha style, apparently he cannot. Angle caused most of the botches, and Wagner just lost interest in the match. He got lazy, started to stiff and botched moves just like Angle. The crowd started to get rowdy by this time, and began to throw things in the ring. Just a poor choice of booking right here, luckily they decided to take some time and made it about ten minutes lesser than the original planned time. However, the fans were still unhappy, sitting for about twenty minutes watching terrible wrestling. Both of these wrestlers are great, but together, they are incapable working a good match. Wagner would pick up the win when he hit Angle with the Wagner Driver. Rating: D Champion versus Champion: Samoa Joe def. Dos Caras Jr.This was a great way to redeem the show, these two put on a magnificent match. Now, the chemistry was not very great, but somehow, this match was entertaining, and in terms of quality, was above average. The crowd was hot in this match too, cheering for Caras the entire match, booing the guts out of Samoa Joe. The match was mostly back and forth, but Caras seemed to be just a little bit ahead of Joe. However, Joe stayed in the match, and would pick up some close wins, but also some close loses. Anyways, the match lasted about twenty-five minutes, which was reasonable, but I feel it could have gone longer. Samoa Joe would pick up the out of nowhere victory when he hit the Muscle Buster, which was soled greatly by Caras. Samoa Joe would have to be escorted out of the ring by security as the crowd began to throw anything they could get there hands on at him. The atmosphere was incredible. Rating: B-

Though I don't know a lot of people in this six-man lucha libre match, it was good that the three mexicans beat the job squad, so to speak. Push Petey Williams as a single please. MCMG always put on a great display and I like how you're making it even between Mexicans and TNAans. Six man action was decent, liked the cameo appearance of Shocker. Seemed like an amazing match with Mistico and AJ Styles. Weird that Angle did crappy in the SA match. Glad Joe picked up the wn in the main event.

Lucha libre match looked godly. Glad the luchadores won. Make Petey a good singles wrestler please, he deserves it. Gld to see MCMG pick up the victory. TNA/Mexico is a great idea and would be very entertaining. Mistico and AJ Styles is an absolute dream match. Would be amazing. Angle losing wasn't a good idea i dont think but Joe winning was great. Fantastic show. Keep up the great work. Please reply to Disappear Here's ECW 2008-09 .

Some really good show's here and a very underrated diary. You've improved so much since when I first started going to the sims about a year ago. The opening Lucha match looked very fun even though I didn't know who they are. Glad the Gunns picked up another win in a solid looking tag team bout. The Champion vs. Champion match was a good read and glad Joe won and it made him look more credible as well.

Great Luchadore action opener. It was a very good opener and you've improved a lot. Very GLAD MCMG won their match. It was great and sounded great. Very realistic. Next match was decent. One thing I hated about that match was because of Shocker. Great match, anyway. I thought A.J Styles should have picked up the victory over Mistico. Great match, though. I enjoyed it and it sounded great. Kurt Angle getting beat by a someknown Mexican? I think that was pretty pointless having Angle lose. So Glad Joe won his match, though. It was an awesome match. It was just great. This diary is very realistic and this iMPACT show sounded realistic.

TNA Wrestling News
-Sunday’s No Surrender was said to be a huge success. While we do not know the exact buy rate, but we do know, it was up considerably from last month’s Hard Justice. In addition, tickets were close to sell out, and TNA only had to give away 50.
-The Global Impact Mexico event, which was also CMLL’s 75th Anniversary show, was also a great success. Critics with the exception of the Kurt Angle and Dr. Wagner Jr. match appreciated all of the matches. The show will air after the October 2, 2008 edition of Impact on Spike TV. All matches will be on the show but will be clipped to fit the one-hour time slot. The DVD will be out in time for the holidays.
-TNA has signed former WWE superstars Jamie Noble and Paul London. Carlito rejected the offer not because the money was not right, but he plans to wrestle in Mexico and his home of Puerto Rico.
-Lance Hoyt was officially been released from Total Nonstop Action. TNA’s office wishes the best in all of his future endeavors.
-Buchanan, who is currently suspended due to drug abuse, will be cleared to wrestle in two weeks. However, TNA management is currently thinking about the possible release of Buchanan. More on this story should be developing soon.
-Speaking of the drug abuse testing, also in two weeks, TNA will be testing all of their superstars again for any type of drug from marijuana and cocaine to any kind of performance enhancer or painkiller. An unknown TNA wrestler said to be expecting many suspensions.
-After the great success of the Global Impact show, CMLL has invited TNA to Mexico City for another super show. TNA officials agreed and the card is already in the works. However, the show will not be on DVD, except in Mexico, and will not even be broadcasted on American television.

No surrender was very good. Cheerleader Mellisa getting the win was a nice surprise, as i thought Gail was going to take the belt home, but hey, i guess not. Kaz beating Creed is good in a booking stand point, and i hope you give him a good, long reign as champion. MCMG winning the belts was just ing awesome. It's about damn time that these two win the titles, and i have no idea how in the hell TNA Management hasn't givin them the titles in real life yet. Like the little bit about the IMPACT Game commercial airing. Sonjay vs. Lethal sounded good, sucks that sonjay won, but oh well, Lethal will take the next one at bound for glory. Jarrett vs. Raven? Wow, that's somethign i wasn't expecting to see in this. Can't wait for that. AJ vs. Angle going for a no contest sucks, but hey, it's a good way to leave the feud open for another match in the future. Cage beating Joe was very unexpected. I'm not toos ure who you will be having him face at Bound For Glory, but i hope you think of something good. Overall an awesome show. As far as Global IMPACT goes, i loved it, and i think it's really awesome that you inlcuded it, and it was a good, short little read, that added to this diary as an extremely well booked, and well written TNA diary. Props man, you're doing awesome. Drop a Reply to my WWE '07 - '08 please? Unforgiven is up.

TNA Impact September 18, 2008This week’s edition of TNA Impact begins with a video displaying what happened this past Sunday at No Surrender. Followed by that video was a quick TNA Cross the Line promotional video. The camera circles around the Impact Zone as the pyro goes off, the camera would eventually settle on Mike Tenay and Don West, who go over the events of No Surrender and what is going to do down tonight. This includes the confrontation between Cheerleader Melissa and Awesome Kong, Angelina Love versus Gail Kim, a huge announcement from Jim Cornette, tag team action, and the main event, featuring Christian Cage and AJ Styles taking on Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. We start with X Division action. Consequences Creed def. Johnny DevineThis was a good way to start of this week’s edition of TNA Impact. Most of the match was back and forth, good technical wrestling, with of course, the standard X Division highflying. These two can put on a good match together, but for some reason, they could not really get the crowd’s support. These two are not really the best in drawing crowds, but when they put on a good, fast pace match, the crowd should really be into it. However, they just were not giving the fans what they wanted. Anyways, the match lasted a good 6-8 minutes, which was a reasonable time, but it could have gone for an extra minute, but yet again, the crowd’s interest in the match came into play. Creed would pick up the win when he hit Devine with a hard Creed-D-T. After the match, Creed would celebrate with the fans. Rating: B- Backstage, the camera goes to Jim Cornette’s office where 10 of the top X Division wrestlers are standing chatting and asking questions. Within seconds, Jim Cornette walks in and everyone begins to bombard him with questions. He eventually screams, “Be quite! Now, if you let me speak, I will tell you what this is all about, now will you guys calm down?” Everyone in the room shakes their heads, Cornette continues, “Well, as everyone knows, TNA’s premier event Bound for Glory is less than a month away, and I want to showcase the best X Division stars in one of the most innovative matches ever, the Terror dome. You ten superstars have been chosen by me to be in this match, and the winner, will face Kaz later on at Bound for Glory for the X Division championship. Sound good?” The room fills up with cheers, but Cornette eventually yells, “Now get the hell out!” After the segment in the office, there is a commercial for Bound for Glory. Motor City Machine Guns def. Robert Roode & James StormThis was decent tag team action, but not the best that the fans have seen. The match was mostly a one sided affair, with MCMG in the drivers seat for the most part. However, Roode and Storm actually almost had the win after they hit Shelley with the DUI, but fortunately, for Shelley, Sabin broke up the pin, and the match continued. Both teams have chemistry together, but they did not use it to their full potential. In fact, all of the participants were rather lazy; acting like this match would not be on television. Nevertheless, this match was at least an average one, and would last about ten minutes, a good amount for a tag team match. MCMG would pick up the win when they hit Storm with the ASCS Rush. Following the match, MCMG would stay in the ring to celebrate, but an attack by Bernard and Tomko would end it. The two would brawl with MCMG until LAX would come out and attack both. Eventually, security would come out to break up the three teams, but they could not seem to keep them away from each other. In a minute or two, Jim Cornette would make his entrance, and the three teams halted. Cornette said, “You six better stop fighting or I swear I will have to shoot myself. However, I think I might have come up with a solution. Since you two, as in LAX and Bernard and Tomko, want a chance at the gold, I will give you one. At Bound for Glory, they will be a triple threat-tag team match. Your welcome!” Cornette would walk off as the three teams looked at each other in agreement. Rating: C- After the match, another commercial for Bound for Glory airs. Backstage, Crystal Louthan is standing with the Beautiful People, who are harassing her. Crystal begins saying, “Angelina, up next you take on Gail Kim, the woman who you two attacked at No Surrender. However, there is a question on a lot of people’s minds, why are you two doing this?” Angelina Love grabs the microphone out of Crystal’s hands and says, “Crystal, we are doing this to make this world a better place. We are going around and covering up the horrible, ugly faces of every single woman out there who is not one of us. And you know what, that includes you, grab her, Velvet.” Velvet follows Angelina’s instructions and grabs a hold of Crystal. Angelina proceeds to grab a paper bag and place it on the head of Crystal. The two leave after Velvet kisses the camera. Angelina Love w/Velvet Sky def. Gail Kim w/ODBThis was great knockouts action, possibly the best match in this division in a long time. For the most part, this was a solid match, going back and forth, with occasional interferences from both Velvet Sky and ODB. However, the referee would never catch it, giving it a good momentum boost for both participants. The match lasted about nine minutes, with the fans enjoying every second of it, cheering for Gail Kim. However, even with the fans cheering, Kim just could not find a way to win the match, no matter how much interference from ODB or how many finishers she hit Love just kept kicking out of the pin. Due to this, Angelina Love would pick up the win when Velvet tripped Kim, which was followed by Angelina’s Bicycle Kick. Followed by the win, the Beautiful People tried to place the bag on Kim’s head, but ODB got in the ring on time to scare the two off. Rating: C+ In the locker room, Jeremy Borash is standing with the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Christian Cage. Borash starts saying, “Christian, this past Sunday, you beat Samoa, and for the third time ever, you won the TNA Heavyweight Championship. Cage, this has to be the greatest moment in your life. However, with Bound for Glory in less than a month, you will have a huge bout against an unnamed opponent. Are you looking at possible contenders right now?” Cage answers very quickly, “You know JB, I’m actually am. In addition, tonight, I will actually be facing three potential contenders: AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, and the man I beat at No Surrender, Samoa Joe. They are all great wrestlers and all of them deserve a title shot. And in fact, I could take on all of them, at once, at Bound for Glory.” Sheik Abdul Bashir def. Shark BoyWell, if you were looking for a squash, here it is. Bashir just completely man handled Shark Boy from start to finish, and without Super Eric at ringside, due to a attack from behind by Tyson Dux and Doug Williams, there was absolutely no hope for Shark Boy. Even with the cheers from the fans in the Impact Zone, Shark Boy was bound to lose. Nevertheless, Shark Boy continued the match, and tried his best to win the match, but he just could not. Bashir would pick up the win when he hit Sharky with the WMD. However, the action was not over yet, as Doug Williams, Tyson Dux, and the leader Alex Koslov, came out and attacked the lifeless Shark Boy. The fans got worried, as there was no help for Shark Boy besides Super Eric, who was in the back. However, to the fans surprise, Delirious and Curry Man, who were bitter enemies, came out, attacked, and scared all of the anti-Americans. Rating: N/A After the ring was cleared out, the sound of Cheerleader Melissa’s theme music rang through the Impact Zone. Out she came with the TNA Women’s championship on her shoulder and a microphone in hand. Melissa began the segment saying, “Kong, on Sunday, after I beat both you and Gail honestly, you attacked me from behind. Ever since then, there has been no word from you, so if you can, please come out here and explain to me about your actions.” The sound of Awesome Kong’s theme song began, and she came out, walking down the ramp very slowly and angrily. Kong stood there for a second silent, until Melissa said, “Oh, wait, I forgot, you don’t talk much. However, I think I understand what you want. You want a title shot, correct?” Melissa stops talking to await Kong’s answer; she shakes her head for a yes. Melissa replied, “Well, then, I guess we could do this right now.” Melissa drops the microphone and gets in a fighting stance. However, Jim Cornette comes out to save the day and says, “Wait, wait, wait, this is the last time I’m going to stop something tonight. You two will not fight here tonight, but instead, on PPV, at Bound for Glory. You got that? Kong, if you even touch Melissa, you will lose your shot. I hope you two have a great month, because it’s going to be hard to keep you two apart.” Cornette walks off while Kong and Melissa stare at each other, Impact goes to a commercial after Kong signals for the belt. Rhino def. Lance HoytThis was a very quick, simple match up. If you looked at in on paper, you would think it would be a squash match, but it actually was not. In fact, Hoyt dominated the 1/3 of the match, but after Rhino hit the first Gore, the crowd got crazy, and Rhino got a huge boost of momentum. The match was about seven minutes long, and Rhino gained momentum at about the two and a half minute mark. The rest of the match was Rhino showing off his powerhouse skills and eventually hitting three Gores in a row, which would get him the win. However, as Rhino stayed in the ring after the match, the monster Abyss, returning from another long absence came out and went for to face with the war machine monster. Mike Tenay on commentary put this moment as the monsters came face to face for a second time, and something could be brewing between these two. Possible match at Bound for Glory? Rating: D+ Backstage, Jeremy Borash is standing with the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Samoa Joe. Jeremy Borash rushes into the interview and says, “Samoa Joe, just a few days ago, you lost your championship to the instant classic Christian Cage. Tonight, you face him once again, but along with Kurt Angle. Earlier tonight, cage said that you, Angle and AJ Styles are all contenders, and he would be glad to face all three of you at Bound for Glory. Your thoughts?” Samoa Joe begins to breath heavy and eventually says, “Why must people remind me about No Surrender. It’s already getting annoying, and its only been a few days since No Surrender. Christian, you may have that gold, but just because you beat me once, does not mean you can beat me again, plus Angle and Styles. You see, just because you are so high and mighty because you were in WWE does not mean you are the biggest person around. Same goes for Kurt, Styles and me are the only ones here who had to make a name for our selves before we came to TNA. Christian, you are the biggest egotistical jerk I have ever seen come through TNA.” Christian Cage & AJ Styles def. Samoa Joe & Kurt AngleCompared to the past few main events, this one makes the others look average. This was a brilliant match up, and the crowd was really into it. The entire match was good, technical wrestling, which some highflying thrown in there, and even some brawling. The match was about eighteen minutes, which was ok, but they could have gone for a few more minutes, and the crowd would still be into it just as they were at the beginning. There was not really a problem in this match, but it was a little repetitive. In my opinion, the reason was due to the technical style, being there are only so many moves you can do with that style, but it never got boring, so it was still fine. Towards the end however, there were quite a few botches, especially on the spots, but it was only in the last minute, many of the wrestlers were getting tired. Nevertheless, the finish was a tad bit shaky, but they pulled it off, and the crowd loved it. It would be a double pin where Styles hit the Styles Clash on Angle while Cage hit the Unprettier on Joe. After the match, Cornette came out and said, “You know, I did say I didn’t want to come out anymore tonight, but I couldn’t resist. You see, after this great match, I think I found my main event for Bound for Glory. It will be a gauntlet match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and all four of you will participate. You know, Cage, you brought this on to yourself, by saying you can take on all three of them, so now you can show me that you can. Good luck, your gonna need it!” Rating: B+ After the main event, there is a commercial for both TNA Xplosion and Bound for Glory. Impact comes back from a quick commercial break with Jeff Jarrett’s theme song playing. Out he comes, with his signature guitar and a microphone in hand. Jarrett gets to the ring and looks around the Impact Zone, as chants of TNA fill up the small soundstage. Jarrett pulls the microphone to his face and says, “I know all of you have heard about what happened at No Surrender. Well, I am just as confused as all of you are. Raven, I know you are out there, and I want you to come out here face to face with me. However, if you don’t want to show, then I guess that’s fine, I’ll just go to Bound for Glory and face Shark Boy or someone like that.” Jarrett drops the microphone and is about to walk out of the ring, but he is stopped by the lights going out and the sound of Raven’s theme music once again. After a few minutes, a dim light comes on over the stage and you could see the body of Raven. Impact would end with Raven doing his signature stance and saying, “Quote to Raven, Nevermore”

Creed winning over Johnny Devine is fine with me. Great opening match, though. MCMG winning there is alright. Would have taken them over Beer Money Incorperated. Kouckout's Match was decent. Please, please fire Sheik Abdul. I think his role in TNA sucks. I hate Lance Hoyt and Rhino but, more happier that Rhino won over Hoyt. I though this match should of become somewhere in the beginning. The Main event was awesome. Would have rather had A.J win the match but, Christian winning is fine with me. The Main Event for BOund for Glory sounds awesome. The Bound for Glory card looks great and looks like a 2005 or 2006 Pay-Per-View. Great Show. I can't wait for Bound for Glory. TNA not signing MVP? Reply to TNA 2007?

A good impact show. Creed/Devine looked ok. Terror X at BFG is cool but I really dislike that the winner faces Kazarian on the same night. Should be good either way though, I expect Kaz to retain it that night. MCMG/Roode & Storm looked great, a fan of both teams. The Joe promo was cool but kinda werid at the same time as I don't see him saying some of that. Main Event for impact looked amazing. Raven back in your TNA diary is ing great. I miss him on TNA alot these days. Honestly, don't like the main event for BFG. I like to stick to one on one or 3-way matches tbh. Should be awesome though. I could see Raven/Jarrett added with some stipulation. These two have had such a big feud throughout TNA, goes all the way back to 2003. Can't wait to read more

TNA Xplosion September 20, 2008Jeremy Borash begins the show, welcoming the TNA fans to this week’s edition of TNA Xplosion. He goes over the run down for tonight’s show, which includes Doug Williams and Tyson Dux taking on Curry Man and Delirious, Claudio Castagnoli’s open challenge, and the main event, featuring Giant Bernard versus Hernandez. We get started with Claudio Castagnoli’s open challenge. Claudio Castagnoli def. Jimmy Rave with the Ricola Bomb (5:03)Rating: C- Backstage, Jeremy Borash does a quick interview with Doug Williams and Tyson Dux. Most of the interview is the two putting down Curry Man and Delirious. The two ended the show challenging the two plus Shark Boy to a six-man tag team match on TNA Impact next week. A commercial for Bound for Glory shows after the interview Curry Man & Shark Boy def. Tyson Dux & Doug Williams via DQ when Alex Koslov Interfered (13:33)Rating: C+ A promotional video for the debut of James Gibson airs. It says this Thursday on Impact. In the back, Jeremy Borash is sitting with Giant Bernard, who is with his partner, Tomko. Bernard talks a lot of trash about both Hernandez and LAX. He says that at Bound for Glory, they have no chance in the match, and it will only be between MCMG and themselves. Hernandez w/Homicide def. Giant Bernard w/Tomko with the Border Toss (17:22)Rating: B Jeremy Borash ends the show telling the fans goodbye and telling them to have a good night. He also reminds them to watch TNA Impact, this Thursday on Spike TV.

I Haven't been reading this, but it seems it's going very well, I will reply alot more often in the future. Xplosion seemed to be a good show, Claudio in TNA is great, from the little work I've seen from him, I've been impressed. Dux, Williams, Kozluv continuing Team International by the looks of it is great, I liked that team. Main event was fine, I'm a fan of all four men so I didn't mind who won, I just can't see Hernandez lifting Bernard for the Border Toss, let alone throwing him.

The Guantlet match at BFG sounds great, but the problem is it's such a big match that a title change would be great, but I don't see the title being taken of Cage this early. Raven returning is pretty cool, and a match with Jarrett would be awesome. The terrordome should be a good match, but currently I don't see anyone involved in the match going over Kaz. Great to see the Guns going over, and the triple threat tag match should be good. Nice to see some X-Division action kicking off the show, although it would have been nice to see Devine going over. A Rhino/ Abyss match could be good, but I expect that there would need to be a stipulation involved.

TNA Impact September 25, 2008TNA Impact begins with a short recap video showing the highlights of last week’s edition of Impact. A quick TNA Cross the Line promotional video plays shortly after. The camera circles the Impact Zone as the screaming TNA fans go crazy. After some pyrotechnic displays, the camera settles on Mike Tenay and Don West, who welcome the fans at home to another edition of TNA Impact. The two go over what happened last week before they get on to what is going to go down tonight, This includes; the debut of James Gibson, X Division action, ODB one on one with Velvet Sky, tag team action, and much more. The two also announce the main event for tonight, which AJ Styles is taking on Christian Cage, with Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle at ringside acting as lumberjacks. We get started with some knockouts action. Awesome Kong def. Roxxi LaveauxThis was a decent match to open the show. Most of the match was Kong totally squashing Roxxi, but Laveaux did get a good amount of offense of Kong. However, it was not much, and seemed ineffective against Kong’s awesome power. The crowd was behind Roxxi the entire match, trying to give her that momentum boost she needed to win the match, too bad she never had a chance to get a big one. The match lasted for a good six minutes, and the fans were bored by the four-minute mark, so they had to hurry up with the ending. Kong would win the match when she hit the Awesome Bomb; the crowd went insane and started to protest. Nevertheless, and shadowy figure comes out of the tunnel, and it reveals to be Cheerleader Melissa. Kong signaled the belt motion as Melissa stood there looking at the women she must face at Bound for Glory. Rating: D+ In the back, Crystal Louthan is standing with one of the two contenders of the tag team championships, LAX. Crystal begins the interview saying, “Homicide, up next, you take on Tomko. Tomko is almost two times bigger than you are and the odds are against you. You thoughts?” Homicide thinks for a little bit, takes a look at Hernandez, then turns to the microphone, “You know, the odds may be against me, but with senior in my corner, I got nothing to worry about. He already defeated Giant Bernard, who is about two times bigger than he is, so it will not be so bad. I’m just going to show him the true power of LAX!” Hernandez and Homicide strike a quick pose before they leave for the match. Homicide def. Tomko via DQConsidering these two have very different styles, this was a good match. The two had a lot of chemistry with each other, and it showed in the match. The two only wrestled for about eight minutes, but it was a aggressive and fast pace bout that entertained the fans. The only problem was the constant interferences of Giant Bernard and Hernandez. The interference from the two was messing up the flow of the match, but the two in the ring managed to get it back on track, a thing many wrestlers cannot do. Most of the match was back and forth, but around the end, Tomko started to manhandle Homicide, and eventually got very aggressive. In fact, he would be disqualified for hitting Homicide with steel chair, which caused an all out brawl between Bernard/Tomko and LAX. Security would have to come out and break the two teams up, it was not a pretty sight, and it would not get any prettier. Followed by security were the Motor City Machine Guns and Jim Cornette. Cornette said, “You know what, with you two teams fighting with each other, it seems that you guys really want to get at it with each other. Well I have just the solution, LAX versus Tomko/Giant Bernard, no disqualification, winner faces MCMG at Bound for Glory. How is that?” The two teams in the ring get even more pissed off, seeing, as both want the tag team titles. However, Cornette added something, “However, if you two would keep your hands off each other, I may change my mind. Have a good day!” Cornette walks off with MCMG as they laugh. Rating: C+ In the locker room, Jeremy Borash is sitting with ODB, accompanied by Gail Kim. Borash begins the segment saying, “ODB and Gail Kim, things between you and the Beautiful People have really been getting out of control. I’m pretty sure this could be leading to a possible match at Bound for Glory, your thoughts?” ODB answers quickly, holding her boobs, “Oh yeah, we got a challenge for the Beautiful People…” ODB takes a second to get a drink of scotch, “Beautiful People, at Bound for Glory, woo, we want a tag team match, no disqualification. Yeah!” ODB does her signature taunt while Kim walks to the microphone, “Beautiful People, ODB just summed it up. We are sick of the large egos you two have. It is time that we stand up for the innocent. We may not be better looking than you two, but in the end, the guys want us more than you two.” Kim and ODB walk off as ODB yells uncontrollably. Following the segment, there is a commercial for TNA Bound for Glory. Velvet Sky def. ODBThis was a great match, and to say that the fans were entertained would be a understatement. The entire match, all ten minutes, the fans were into it, cheering for ODB. In fact, the cheers for ODB gave her momentum, thus making her in the driver’s seat for most of the match. However, you could see in Velvet Sky’s eyes that she had a plan, and so did Angelina Love. Nevertheless, this was probably the best performance from Velvet Sky since coming to TNA. She gave it her all in this match, and if she continues, she could find her self winning the TNA women’s title in the near future. However, she was still being a tad bit lazy, and worrying about her gimmick instead of her skills. Near the end, it was looking like ODB had this match won, but like I said earlier; Velvet had something up her sleeve. Right when ODB was about to hit the Dirty Dozen, and interference by Angelina Love and an unknown woman put ODB out, and Sky hit the Diving Cross body for the win. After the match, the Beautiful People and the unknown person stayed in the ring and announced that they accepted the challenge for Bound for Glory. Who is this woman? Rating: B- Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with the Phenomenal AJ Styles. Borash starts saying, “AJ, tonight, you face your former enemy and even a former friend, do you have mixed feelings about this?” Styles answers after a few seconds, “You know Jeremy, I do have mixed feelings. Right now, Cage and I are neutral. We are not enemies, nor are we friends. However, just like the presidential election, while they were senators, they were neutral, but now, they hate each other’s guts. It is just like Cage and me. Since we have that match at Bound for Glory, we are going to become enemies at some point, maybe after this match, or next week I do not know. So right now, I am just going to go out there, and act as if Cage is just another opponent. However, come Bound for Glory, Cage, things are going to get nasty.” James Gibson def. Jimmy RaveThis was a impressive debut for Gibson, he got over with the crowd real well, and put on a great match with Rave. There was not too much problems in the match, other than a few botches. But other than that, it was almost picture perfect. The match was mostly back and forth, fast pace action with a lot of highflying. It was the X Division at its finest. The crowd was entertained, and was amused by every stunt Gibson and Rave did, this was possibly the best X Division match on Impact this year. However, the match was rather short, going for only eight minutes, and in my opinion, should have gone for at least twelve, or even thirteen minutes. Nevertheless, this was a overall good match, and Gibson looks like he could really big a big player in the X Division in the future. He would beat Rave when locked on the Paydirt. Rating: B Before a short commercial break, there is a TNA Cross the Line promotional video. TNA comes back on the air with Kevin Nash’s theme song blasting through the Impact Zone. He slowly walks to the ring with a microphone in hand, we have not seen Nash in a long time, this could be important. When he gets to the ring, he proceeds to cut a promo saying, “Well, as all of you have heard, there are rumors going around that I’m thinking about retirement. I have to admit, this is true. However, I am not going to go that easy. You see, I want my last match to be at Bound for Glory, and I am looking for a worthy opponent. There is a lot back in the locker room, but I’m afraid all are taken, unless I missed someone, which I know I didn’t.” Nash is interrupted by the theme music of Booker T. Out he comes, with a microphone of his own in hand, he talks on his way to the ring, “Nash, I’m afraid you have forgot about one person. You see, I know him very well; I met him on the day I was born, guess who. You are looking at him Nash; it is I. You see, me and you have a history in the old WCW. Therefore, I feel it’s fitting that I should face you in your retirement match, you think?” Booker T pauses, waiting for Nash’s answer. After a few seconds, Nash says, “You know what, what the hell, it’s on. But wait, it wont be just a regular match. How about falls count anywhere, just for the hell of it.” Booker T nods his head, another great match added to the Bound for Glory card. After the segment, there is a quick commercial for Xplosion. Alex Koslov & Sheik Abdul Bashir def. Curry Man & Super EricThis was a decent tag team match, not great though. The match was mostly controlled by Koslov and Bashir, who were in the drivers seat most of the time. However, it was not necessarily a total squash. Curry Man and Super Eric did indeed get some offense in, but not much, still enough to almost get the win a couple of times, one being after Curry Man hit the Spicy Drop on Koslov. The match lasted about twelve minutes, and the fans were interested in half the match, but at the six-minute mark, it became boring and repetitive. It was not too terrible, but it just could have been better with more fan support. The Anti American tag team of Koslov and Bashir would pick up the win when Koslov hit the Soviet Strike. The two, along with Doug Williams and Tyson Dux, would continue to brawl with Curry Man and Super Eric, trying to remove their masks. However, Delirious and Shark Boy saved the day, as they came out and scared off the Anti-Americans. Koslov would get on the microphone and say, “It seems that this feud is going nowhere, so it’s time to settle this once and for all. The Anti Americans, which is we of course, versus you ‘Super Heroes’ that the Americans just love. 8-Man tag team match at Bound for Glory, accept?” Curry Man, Super Eric, Shark Boy, and Delirious huddle before they announce they accept. It is on. Rating: C In the back, Jeremy Borash is standing with the War Machine Rhino. Borash starts asking, “Rhino, last week, you and the Monster Abyss had a face off. It seemed as if you two made have some bad blood between each other, could this be?” Rhino waits a few seconds before saying, “Jeremy, there isn’t any bad blood between us two, it’s just Abyss. He may have gone through the mental hospital, but that still doesn’t mean he isn’t a monster anymore. You see Abyss, deep down inside, you are the monster you have always been. Deep down, James Mitchell is telling you do destroy everyone. You see Chris, not Abyss, Chris, if you want to fight you got it. How about a monsters ball match? Bound for Glory, one on one, give me an answer by next week, or I will have to find you. AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage went to a drawIn the previous weeks, the main events have been outstanding, but this one makes the others look average. This was a outstanding bout, and definitely the match of the night, and even a possible match of the year candidate. Both wrestlers gave the match all they had for the entire eighteen minutes. The crowd was pumped and because of this, the participants had to give them what they wanted. The entire match was back and forth, technical wrestling with a little brawling and highflying thrown in there. There were not any problems, besides some lazy spots, but the rest of the match was near perfect. These two can put on a brilliant match together and I would love to see them feuding in the near future. The best thing about the match was not the quality, nor the fans, but the selling of both wrestlers. Near the end of the match, they were selling perfectly, and when they both received the count of ten, it almost seemed like they actually knocked each other out. I hope that the TNA writers look at this one, because there could be a potential feud between the two that could bring in the ratings. It would go to a draw when both were down for the ten count. The crowd would give the two a standing ovation for such a great match. Rating: A- After Impact’s last commercial break, the sound of Raven’s theme music plays throughout the Impact Zone. The crowd goes nuts as Raven walks out of the tunnel. He gets to the ring and begins to talk about Jeff Jarrett, “Jarrett, at No Surrender, you announced the open challenge for Bound for Glory, and at No Surrender, the song of my music almost gave you a heart attack. Therefore, I am just going to come out right now, I accept your challenge! Jarrett, I want you too come out here right now so we can make this official. Hell, we can even get this match on right now!” Raven drops the microphone, awaiting Jarrett’s entrance, but it is not Jarrett who comes out, it is Jim Cornette. Cornette says, “Raven, it is an honor to have you back in TNA. However, you might be pissed about this, but Jarrett could not make it tonight. He told me for his own safety, he wishes to stay away until Bound for Glory. However, your match at Bound for Glory is official; you are taking on Jeff Jarrett, in a no disqualification match!” Raven goes nuts as the crowd explodes; Impact goes off the air as Raven stands in the ring saying, “One more time…”
