Not sure if this had been posted..
It has been announced that a WWE Saturday Night's Main Event will air as a one hour special at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2 on NBC. The last time they taped Saturday Night's Main Event, it was before the previous edition of Raw, so more than likely, the one-hour special will be taped before the live Raw show on July 28, 2008, which is taking place at the Verizon Center in our Nation's Capital, Washington D.C.

That's pretty cool.
I always like to tune into SNME if I am around.
Hopefully it is a good show.

Probably won't be that great being that it is only one hour. I wish they would go back to doing it like they did before WM22 and back in July of 06 where it was 2 hours and live. This will just be a good time to get publicity for summerslam.

The magic of Saturday Night's Main Event it gone. There is too much star vs. star matches on TV now to make it feel special. Back when SNME was hot you had mostly squash matches on TV.

Hopefully it'll do better back on prime time. Sticking it in the SNL slot wasn't doing it any favors.
