Thinking of doing a column, your thoughts?

So I was thinking of doing a well-thought out column on a different worker each week (provided I have time). I'd basically critique the worker on charisma, work rate, wrestling style, overness, mic skills, potential, etc...

I used to do this once upon a time and I tried to pick whomever was the hottest and most talked about wrestler that particular week. Anyone have any interest in this or any suggestions for whom I should pick for week 1? I'm considering 'Taker, Regal, or possibly Trips or even Kane.

But you''d have to remember that once you say anything negative about Punk, Orton, Santino, etc. you're gonna get attacked on the forum, letter bombs sent to your house, and anything else that WF can think of (despite how sensible your criticism may be of the wrestler).


See, most people here, i've noticed, are either crazily in love with a wrestler, or absolutely loathe them.

There's also no such thing as an opinion, and everything said is fact-driven.




But if you do decide to do it, like i say, i'll read it. Although i haven't seen many full shows in a while so I my replies would be short (as i wouldn't really be able to argue with you over anything, unless you attached youtube links of major parts of yor praise/critique, but that would be very time-consuming).

It would be my opinion of course, but I'd base it on facts as much as I can. I wouldn't say, for example, "hogan sukzz ftw". It would be more along the line of, "I don't like Hogan because he's a backstage politician who holds people down." (For the record, I'm a huge fan of Hogan, I'm just giving an example.)

Well, from reading your posts in the past, me and you have very different opinions on different topics, but yea if you do post anything on a wrestler, I will read it, agree and disagree on points most likely, then debate.

i'd read for sure. it would be nice to have a well thought out column on here every week to break up some of the horrible posts that come up frequently.

I'd vote for a Regal column first if you're going by who's hot at the moment. The guy went from GM to King of the Ring to probably Main Eventer in a couple weeks.

I would read it, but I've seen many things like show reviews etc... that get bashed on this board so quickly it just becomes a negative experience. I think it would make for good discussion though.

dont worry about it being more subjective than objective will make it more fun to read

i find your posts interesting for the most part so i'd deffo take the time to read it
