The WWE site has reaction from Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross on Raw General Manager William Regal bringing out Mike Adamle to do commentary for one match. The article also features comments from Adamle. He said, "I’m as good as Jim Ross is, and one day I will take over his spot on Raw. As for walking off ECW, I'll make a statement about that tomorrow night on ECW on Sci Fi's 100th episode."

I don't like how they've turned it into a storyline. It was hilarious when he'd up unintentionally.

who knows, maybe this whole thing with him being bad just was all for a storyline.

I don't like how they've turned it into a storyline. It was hilarious when he'd up unintentionally. now this i don't agree with. Everyone hated his constant screwups and wanted him fired, he walks off and everyone gets interested in what happened, and now he's being storylined to be bad, and everyone hates the fact it's scripted and wants the unintentional screwups. Fickle Internet fans

I think it's been a storyline since just a few weeks after RR, WWE probably picked up on the fans reaction and made him continue.

It's a good way to get him over. I thought he was funny last night. I don't like him much but his whole theory on it not being a handicap match was pretty hilarious. I just liked seeing JR's reaction and JR not shaking his hand.... like when he was booted off back in 99..

Cutler rhymes with Butler.
The man is genius. I got to see the awesomeness that is Mike Adamle last night. I'll tune in tonight to watch more.

It was so bad, it was funny. i didn't mean it as a direct jab at you, it just seemed that the general opinion of him keeps changing after the changes the 'E make to his character. I myself have enjoyed his commentary, it's very different to what you expect from a WWE commentator, and it's quite refreshing.

Last weeks ECW was teh first week it was done intentionally I believe, the mistakes were more obvious and it felt like he was doing it on purpose, plus the obvious storyline walk out. Prior to that I can tell it was just nerves, this is a storyline that interests me as I'm curious as to where they are going to take it. In all honesty each brand has begun to interest me now with these unpredictable storylines.
I was so tired of Smackdown, it was stale and the same guys were in the title hunt for months, now that Taker has been stripped it's livens things up a bit. Plus for the first time in years I'm not sure what Undertaker will do (he's usually the msot predictable guy).
Raw is the same, the Regal storyline is livening up lame storylines and matches. We're now seeing and unpredictable twist to the show.
These all feels like the mark of one single writer, and whoever that is I suggest they let him keep it up. This stuff reminds me of Attitude Era storylines where you would say to yourself "Did they really just do that?"

Yea they picked up on Adamle sucking and decided to go with it.
Smart move on the WWe's part i must say...rather than trying to backpeddle and hire a another replacement like they had to do for Coachman

hahaha im loving this - id love to see adamle and JR go at it (verbally). Maybe have king and tazz get it on the action too - that would be hillarious....remember the slagging matches King and Tazz had back in 99.....hahaha those were priceless!! Tazz: Oi Lawler!!!!! Hey look at that friend of yours...over there hey JR...id slap you right in the face right now...but it looks like God beat me to it! Lawler: You know somethin Tazz...id take that seriously if you weren't the illegitimate intellectually- disabled son of Mr. T!!
