Interesting thought about the WWE Title's...

So, I was thinknig and have known of this for a long time but just haven't posted it and haven't seen it posted.

IS there an actual reason behind the WWE Tag Team Championships being on Smackdown and the World Tag Team Championship being defended on Smackdown while the World Heavyweight Title is defended on Smackdown and the WWE Title is defended on Raw?
Smackdown:
World Heavyweight Title---WWE Tag Titles
Raw:
WWE Title---------------------World Tag Team Titles

See, why don't they just have for example the WWE and WWE Tag team titles defended on Raw and the World Tag team and World Heavyweight titles being defended on Smackdown?

Because Raw is the flagship show. Which means they get the original titles. Being the WWE Championship, and the WWE World Tag Team Championship. Then Smackdown! gets stuck with the newly created belts.

When Cena and Batista switched brands, they took their respective world titles with them and the tag champions never were drafted to the different brands.

At the time Triple H was presented with the WHC, Raw had all World titles (Womens, Tag and the IC) and Smackdown had all the WWE titles (WWE Tag Cruiserweight) and then they switched the main titles during the draft a few years ago

exactly. Plus i don't know if they would switch tag team titles now because RAW's main color is Red (World Tag) and Smackdown's main color is Blue (WWE Tag), soooo if they switched brands, they have to make new belts.

Smackdown's belts are like WCW. They have the WCW title belt, the US title, and use to have the Cruiserweight title.

They need to combine the shows, so they can have a constant flow through out the week so story lines develop faster.

no they do not . if they combine the shows alot of people would het fired. also if they combined shows it would only have mostly the main eventer from all 3 brands . so alot of mid carders & all low carders would be fired .so you would be stuck with the roster every night & would made mostly of same main eventers every night.

Soooo what would change then? the difference is instead of seeing the same guys on Raw everynight we`d get guys from all brands everynight.
