Ok so Bret liked the ladies. It acutally makes me sort of glad that he was a totally boring goody two shoes guy that he was in his character.
So what if Bret got around with the ladies.

Don't know how it is in the UK, but here in the States and in Canada when you're married it's generally frowned upon to sleep with someone other than your wife. I speak in broad generalities of course.

Whatever he was man enough to admit the wrongs in his life, even if he conducted them on a continuous basis.
At first I thought I had lost some respect for the man I grew up wanting to be like but really it's his life and it was his choice to make.

I respect wrestlers for whta they do in the ring not out of the ring. It's their lives let them live it. Well put, I gotta respect your answer o that one. However, Bret was shed in a new light for me after seeing his DVD. He was a great wrestler, one of the best ever, yet the entire DVD all he did was whine. I mean come on, get over the screwjob dude.

Definitely not cool but I'm sure 99% of them are cheaters. You can get pretty much anyone you want. When you're on the road for so long, women begin to look like money to a poor man. Yeah Vince Russo said in his book "for all you spouses of sports entertainers out there, there is a very good chance your husband or wife is cheating on you".

Does his book cover the time all the way up to the Hall of Fame 07, or does it cut off before that? Cuts off when his dad dies, then there is a 2 page after word on what happened after.

I love how all the people saying " who cares what wrestlers do in their personal lives?" are probably the same people crapting on Chris Benoit for what he did. Obviously murder and cheating are two different things, but it's the principal.

Obviously murder and cheating are two different things, but it's the principal. Exactly. Bret is definitely not as bad as Benoit, but man he was shameless when talking about his affairs. After finishing reading his book, I believe he may have thrown out the wwf belt on Nitro had Vince not did what he did and Bischoff gave Bret enough money. Bret isn't as honorable as we thought he was.

Look Bret might have had an affair. But lets face it people make mistakes in life and nobody is perfect. Bret gave his all in his career and has had alot of trouble in his personal life. So lets just not judge bret
The Benoit case is totally different as what he did totally overshadows what he did in the ring.
I mean Bill Clinton had an affair and he was president for gods sake.

Benoit's case is different, but it's the same in the way that both things are their personal life's.

I agree. Austin was well known for this as well, and Batista recently too. Wrestlers lived fast-paced, exciting lifestyles and sometimes don't know the limits, and fail to draw the line between the moral and the immoral. This is certainly not an excuse though. I've come to realize that when it comes to wrestlers, they are nice to fans and co-workers, but often times terrible to their own families. It's like they are "autistic entertainers," failing to get out of their "world" (wrestling, which includes co-workers and fans) and enter the real world when at home (consisting of family). The worse case of this was clearly a certain Canadian madman, and I'm not talking about Bret. i think your use of the term Autistic is totally out of whack.i see no similarity between this and Autism. on topic i think its wrong that so many wrestlers cheat but in any place in the world it goes on.Alot of famous sports pros do it.for anyone in th UK just think Ashley Cole and how hot his wife is he cheated on her.For anyone one out the UK just google it.When your on the road and women are throwing themselves at you things happen.
