- According to several people, there is some tension between Punk and Carlito. It stems from Carlito being really jealous of Punk and his push. The WWE sent Carlito a message by making him job to Punk on television and by filming that dating skit with Santino. - Colt Cabana and Ace Steel were originally supposed to be Edge's lackeys. The plan was for Ace Steel to be the serious wrestler, while Cabana was supposed to be the comedy wrestler. Edge was all for this. This didn't happen because Edge was injured during the Mardis Gras gimmick with Kane. They decided to use the Major brothers instead and Ace Steel was fired. Maybe if Carlito wasn't so damn lazy, and had a reasonable look or gimmick, he would get a push too. CM Punk is miles better. And I would have LOVED the Saints to be Edge's lackeys.

As each day passes, the more I read about Carlito, the more I can't stand the whiny bitch. Seriously, why the  is he still here? He'll never be happy ever again, you can tell by the look on his face whenever he comes out that he can't wait to get the match over and done with and get the hell out. He phones it in week after week and wonders why WWE aren't pushing him? He doesn't give them any reason to push him! He had the chance to leave late last year and he decided to stay. He made his bed, he has to lie in it. To be honest, I wish he left when he had the chance. He really annoys the out of me, tbh. And I used to be a big fan. |

I prefer Punk over Carlito just for the fact that Punk obviously loves wrestling and shows his passion. Carlito looks like he couldn't give less of a poop sometimes.
Although, to clear something up, Carlito actually asked for his release from the WWE, but they talked him round into staying for whatever reason. God knows why, he's not adding anything to the product and hasn't done for over 2 years.
Remember the promo Flair cut on him on Raw a few weeks before 'Mania last year? The 'E' actually put that Flair/Carlito programme together to light a fire under Carlito and get him off his arse. Now, if working a 3 month programme with Ric Flair can't get you motivated to improve yourself as a wrestler, then what can?

Carlito and Shelton both, they tried to push but the two are lazy people who do not care about wrestling they just want there paycheck and to leave right away. Shelton they tried pushing when he was with Angle, then again on RAW when he BEAT TRIPLE H 3 Times for god's sake, and then again in 2006, and they are trying again this year. Carlito when he first debued got the US title, again pushed when he came to RAW, pushed again when he turned face and they tried pushing him when he beat Cena and had a small feud with Lashley and Triple H. |

Maybe he should do something about it and actually not be a whine. Crying for Carlito will get him nowhere. Either he steps it up or gets released, doesn't matter at this point.

Everything in the world of wrestling is fabricated... I don't believe this, it sounds like something to make Internet wrestling fans further their opinion that Carlito is lazy and passionless... I don't believe it for one second...
As for the Saints being the Edgeheads... anything is better than Hawkins and Ryder... but again, I don't believe that part either. What does Edge getting hurt have to do with the WWE changing their minds?
