storyline stupidity alert matt was at mania and attacked mvp but didnt attack orton the guy who attacked him while he was ''hurt''.  he waited till raw to do it and got squashed.... |

MVP was the guy who put him out in the first place. Orton was the second guy to hurt him.

yep so why not attack both at mania. It would cause too much confusion. Everyone was hoping that Matt would cost MVP MITB anyways. And the bit with Orton on Raw was golden, cuz no one expected it. |

Simplicity, and like the Dude said, because nobody expected him to show up on RAW like that.
Plus, the MVP angle is going to be long term. Chances are that Monday night was the end of the Orton/Matt stuff.
