I just think it's a bit ridiculous that even last night some wrestlers didn't break character (on or off tv) for the sake of Ric Flair....Festus I believe was being led out by Jesse & Festus still had his half intellectually- disabled look on his face & it may have been just me I didn't see Taker out there either, I thought he woulda been 1 of the guys to come into the ring or atleast be on the front line of all the superstars when the came out from the back....also where the hell was Vince for this as well

I definitely understand Orton not breaking character... I'm sure he spoke with Flair a good bit backstage though.

Regardless, it was a pretty awesome sight to behold.

I agree this should have been a time were everyone broke character and came out to thank Flair for all he did. Vince maybe the one person I didn't expect to be their as he maybe the one who shouldn't break character since it was him that forced the stip and may have led some to think that Flair could be let back if Vince was out there crying with the others. Taker should have come out on TV as he is one of the leaders in the back and should have paid his respects to Flair on TV with the others as some may see it as that he doesn't have as much respect for Flair as others do. The parting of the wrestlers so that Flair could get to the back should have been shown on TV also as it would have been great to see everyone out there and all get their chance to say thank you and having Flair at the top of the ramp with his family looking the crowd and the wrestlers with a tear in his eye would ave been the best ending to Raw ever.

Flair's been in this business a long time, I'm sure he understands and knows the importance of kayfabe.

I agree, he helped batista get started with his career just as much as Orton. but he is a heel and WWE is picky aobut that.

crap, if he didnt technically break character, Orton was still very respectful about it. And if you watch it you can see him wipe the tears from his eyes several time. May be a prick in real life but atleast he has respect.

y2josh Hardy was out and I believe Kennedy was out too. Id have to go back to see if Umaga was though.

For God's sake, of all the things you could complain about, like Malenko coming out after the rest of the Horsemen (and with the Radicalz music to boot), or Dusty not being there in person, or Steamboat using Ultimo's music, or the excessive overplaying of that Fuel song, or Orton not getting separate recognition...you're going to complain that Festus maintained kayfabe?

It was one of the greatest moments in pro wrestling history yet some of you feel the need to disect it for no given reason.

While watching, I was afraid they would do something dumb like have everyone attack Flair or something. THAT would have warranted a complaint no doubt. However, that is not what happened. It was a great moment and leave it at that.

Like i said, flair puts business above himself, he said that the title match should be the main event instead of his match, he probably felt it was right that they kept their characters
