Well, I was flipping between the Pirates game playing on my free preview of MLB Extra Innings and RAW last night when the Braves announcers mentioned jokingly that one of the cameramen was working under a heavy heart because the 16 times Champ the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair was retiring. Well, it may have been jokingly, but it was important/large enough that it was mentioned at an MLB game.
And I can't beleive how poorly my Pirates played in the 9th. How do you go into the 9th with a 5 run lead and walk 4 batters and then miss an easy pop-up to go to extra innings!

Hey, it's the Pirates! What do you expect?
Anyway, it's cool to see that he's so recognized that he's being mentioned on these types of things.

It is the Pirates. They play horribly every year. Of course my Phils 'pen blew a big lead in the 9th - again - and ended up losing. Just like old times.

Why? To difficult to understand....Or is it the fact that you have the attention span of a walnut? Try watching something else other than wrestling...

Baseball's awesome to experience live but I've never been able to get into it.

Baseball's awesome to experience live but I've never been able to get into it. i can't get into it either. i played baseball all the way from tee ball up until i graduated high school...idk if i just got sick of it overall or what, but i really just can't stand watching it, it's sooooo boring to me. it's kinda cool i guess flair got a passing mention, that's probably more than anyone else could hope for.

I'm like that with Basketball...I used to play it all the time now I can't even watch it to save my life. But with Baseball I played it from 1st grade until after High school, but now can only watch the National League teams...and it's only a few teams.

On another note, I'm a true loyal Pirates fan. I stick with 'em through everything, but Jason Bay should be dragged into a field and be murdered by firing squad for missing that fly ball

Agreed. I watched some of that game also. Pretty cool that Flair was mentioned. Pirates almost gave up the lead again in the 12th, man!

I think (just a comment by me) that itis because Ric probably new the guy. Alot of the people that film for the braves filmed for wCw back in the day. Because they were both owned by Ted Turner. So to give them year round jobs he would have them film the Nitro's and Thunder's and PPV's.
That is pretty cool though.
