Duan Snachez Jnr > Mikey Whipreck
Once again, nice show. Glad I go the win. I hope to god my match against Nikkolaj Punk isn't a squash the show after next. If I don't beat him, I'll give him run for his money.
Devin Curtis I don't think it has what it takes to be in such high profile matches, it seemed like he choked in the match last show.

....
Nikollaj Punk: You see this gold around my waist? It signifies that I am the best. It siginifies that I am the man to beat to be the best. As one of wrestlings great legends use to say, To be the man, you have to beat the man. Well I did beat the man and now I am THE man. I am your world Champion, weather you idiots in TV land like it, weather the sheep in the audience like it, or weather the boys in the back like it. I am one of the youngest decorated wrestling in history. I will accept any challenge because I am that good and I will prove each and every time that I deserve to be where I am.

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #8 Live from the Alltel Arena, Little Rock, AR.
The sounds of "Whatta Man" open up the show, and out to the ring comes Michael Edwards along with Evan Pagano. He says that he has a challenge for Ricky Williams. The Superstars and Somebodies Megashow, at the end of the tour, they're facing off. But he wants more. He wants it to be a Cage Match! "I Love it Loud" strikes up, and rather than come out to the ring, Williams is shown backstage on the video screens. He tells Edwards that he's fine whooping him in a cage just as much as he would be outside of a cage. But Edwards had better focus on their tag team match tonight, because he sure is! (B-)
Trace Demon defeats Jake Richards. This was not the way to get the crowd fired up. These two did not work very well together and it definitely showed. Demon was worn out, and Richards was too... Richards tried to get him up for the Richards Driver, but didn't have the strength. Finally, Demon just hit him with a lariat for the victory. (D-)
Joe Gilmore defeats Devin Curtis. Another match that the crowd just could not get behind. These two did not work very well together, and it showed. Diamond Joe just used his power to control things and then hit the Diamond Driver onto Curtis for the pin. (D) (12:58)
Dean Marcus and Korey Gunz defeat Nikollaj Punk and TriPod. This match might've run 5 minutes too long, as most involved were worn out by the end. Once again, Punk and TriPod showed great chemistry as a tag team. Gunz also looked very good in this match, but it was Marcus' chance to shine. He hit the Marc Out and pinned TriPod while Gunz kept the World Champion at bay. Afterwards, Marcus motioned that the title would soon be around his waist. (C-) (23:23) (MOTN - tie)
Michael Edwards and Evan Pagano defeat Ricky Williams and Duan Sanchez Jnr. Sanchez took his lumps in this, and by halfway through the match was just completely out of this. Realistically, Edwards and Pagano have "zero chemistry" as tag team partners, but they were effective enough, especially when they were taking on Williams while Sanchez just could not help. They hit a Spiked Future Driver and Edwards pinned Williams. (C-) (21:25) (MOTN - tie)

SWA Magazine News Update
SWA TV!?
The SWA has entered formal negotiations with television stations all over the world to air a 30 minute, primarily character-driven piece named SWA Magazine every week. Right now, they have reached agreements with mentv in Canada, and ESPN in Japan. More deals are trying to be worked out where everyone around the world will be able to see this. Start dates or any other details were not available at this time.
Hail to the Champ!
Congratulations to Nikollaj Punk, the first ever SWA World Heavyweight Champion. Unfortunately for him, he cannot rest on his laurels, as he has a very tough title defense scheduled against Dean Marcus in just two weeks. If he wins that, he will have yet another title defense at the Superstars and Somebodies PPV at the end of the month!
Get well soon, Chaz!
We are all hoping Chaz Classic a speedy recovery on his recent health issues. There are plenty of questions people want to know, and I'm sure in due time Chaz will answer, but for now, rightfully, his focus is on his health. His return date is unknown, but when he is ready, we will welcome him with open doors.
Merchandising issues resolved!
We had recieved complaints from our fans about our merchandise, not only in the quality, but in the amount avaliable on hand at shows... at bigger shows we'd be sold out before the card started in some shirts. Well, we are proud to announce we have switched suppliers and the new stuff is not only a much better quality, but we are going to have on average twice as many of every item as previous!

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #9 Live from the Los Angeles Sports Arena, Los Angeles, CA.
Evan Pagano defeats Nikollaj Punk. This was a non-title match, but Punk treated it like a title match. The crowd wasn't big on this match, because they didn't like EITHER man involved. While te match wasn't bad, with the crowd not getting into it, and Punk not liking the way the match was going, he grabbed his belt and simply walked out, giving Pagano the countout victory. A win over the World Champion is a big deal no matter what, but this had to be bittersweet for Pagano. (E+) (9:01)
Ricky Williams defeats Joe Gilmore. It was Diamond Joe's stamina that hurt him here, as when they passed 15 minutes, he was just dead. And that was when Williams just took control, finishing him off with a Backdrop Driver. A big win for someone who needed it. (C-) (17:34)
Dean Marcus defeats Michael Edwards. Decent match here. Edwards tried like hell to come out on top, on the eve of Marcus' title shot, but Dean was absolutely in the zone. With Punk not looking as good as usual, and Marcus seeming so hot, is a title change in the cards? Marcus finished off Edwards with the Marc Out. (C) (14:43)
After the match, Dean Marcus went out to celebrate with "his people", the fans. (D-)
Devin Curtis defeats Trace Demon. Not a great match of styles. Demon controlled most of the match, but then the youngster took advantage of a Demon mistake, went on the advantage, and finished him off with the Here It Comes! (D-) (12:50)
Korey Gunz defeats Assassin. A pretty decent main event here, the battle of the "Vertebreakers" (which is quickly becoming by far the most popular finisher in the SWA. One of the fascinating things about both men using the move is the finish. Assassin went for a Dragon's Way, but when Gunz rolled over, basically catching Assassin the same way... he readjusted, hit the move, and got the pin! (C+) (23:01) (MOTN)

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #10 Live from the Hara Arena, Dayton, OH.
Joe Gilmore defeats Devin Curtis. This was not a great opening match. Both of these men were noted as being "off" tonight, and it just did not help the show. Gilmore had something hidden in his tights, a pair of knucks or something, and he used this "international object" on Curtis before hitting the Diamond Driver for the win. (D-) (9:25)
Trace Demon defeats the Assassin. This was a match where two heels facing off really turned the fans on what was going on, with these two not really clicking together in the ring, it made for an awkward match. However, both men gave it their all, however, and after Demon hit the Anarchy Crash, it looked like things weren't over. (D-) (11:47)
Afterwards, Assassin and Demon got in each others faces, and it looked like they were going to come to blows again. Demon asked for a microphone and told him that the two of them together could own the SWA. They both started to smile and shook hands! (D)
Ricky Williams defeats Evan Pagano. The first match that got the crowd involved at all. These two, obviously, everyone knows why they're at war, and they both brought it. Williams ended up finishing a strong effort by Pagano with the Lariat. (C) (15:49) (MOTN - tie)
#1 Contenders Match: Korey Gunz defeats TriPod. Another pretty decent match. By now, he's faced TriPod enough that he wasn't affected at all by his "mental games", namely the excitement that is almost supernatural. Gunz just had his eye on winning the World Title opportunity at the Megashow on PPV. And despite TriPod actually bringing his A Game, that's exactly what Gunz did. (C) (17:11) (MOTN - tie)
SWA World Heavyweight Title: Nikollaj Punk defeats Dean Marcus. This was a match that seemed to be beyond the skill level of Punk and Marcus. The crowd just did not believe it, and as hard as both men worked, and they did work very hard, it just did not work overall. Although he won completely clean, Punk winning with the Nikollaj Driver sent the fans home with a bad taste in their mouth. (D) (18:42)

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #11 Live from the Freeman Colisseum, San Antonio, TX.
Assassin defeats Joe Gilmore. Despite the fact that the crowd generally doesn't like heel vs. heel matchups, these two clicked so well together in the ring that the crowd was bought into it by the end. Gilmore went for the Diamond Driver, but it was countered with a back body drop. Assassin then hit an Aztec Suplex for the pin. (C+) (10:42)
Nikollaj Punk defeats Devin Curtis. Even in loss, this might've been Curtis' best performance so far. He proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he can hang with the big boys, and came very very closet to defeating the SWA World Heavyweight Champion. However, Punk hit the Nikollaj Driver for the pin, and it had to be heartbreaking. After the match, Curtis recieved a standing ovation for his effort. (C+) (14:53)
TriPod defeats Jake Richards with the Climax. This just did not seem to be Richards night. He could not figure out anything to do with TriPod, who looked very good, hitting the Climax for the dominating victory. (C) (12:54)
Michael Edwards defeats Korey Gunz. Gunz, the recently named #1 Contender to the SWA World Heavyweight Title, was the selection by Ricky Williams for this match. These two had an absolutely incredible match in front of the very hot crowd. These two were shown to be absolute equals over the course of 19 minutes, however, Edwards seemed a slight bit more focused, and that's what ended the match... well, that and a Future Driver. (B-) (18:44) (MOTN - tie)
Michael Edwards grabs the mic to introduce Williams' opponent for the night. He said that he thought he needed to cool Williams down, and what better way to do that than to force him to face his own protoge. His opponent... Duan Sanchez Jnr! (C)
Ricky Williams defeats Duan Sanchez Jnr. Neither man knew quite how to approach this match. Sanchez, I think, early on, thought that Williams would let him defeat him, to get the monkey of no wins off of his back. The crowd was split by the match two, as the two men exchanged basic moves and counters, chanting alternately "Let's Go Ricky!" and "Let's go Du-an!" As the minutes passed, the match became more and more heated. Sanchez thought he had the match won when he went for an Into the Blue, but Williams grabbed the ropes and Sanchez fell flat on his back. When he made it back to his feet, he was a victim of a Lariat for the win. After the match, Sanchez seemed upset, but he eventually shook Ricky's hand. (17:02) (B-) (MOTN - tie)

SWA Magazine News Briefs:PPV Card finalized! The final two matches are TriPod vs. Trace Demon. Lately, despite his relationship with SWA World Champion Nikollaj Punk, TriPod's antics have been becoming more and more popular at SWA shows. In addition, Dean Marcus will take on the Assassin. Both men, going into the next tour, will be hoping to pick up a big win. Details for upcoming tour!Right now, every SWA superstar has been asked back for the Untouchable Tour, including Chaz Classic. If Classic is able to wrestle, there will be at least 20 wrestlers on the tour. If he is not, there are 19 workers currently scheduled. When asked about how they will fit this many wrestlers on tour, it was told there would be more tag team matches(expectedly, as there will be a tag team title tournament), and more multi-man matches. In addition, most won't be expected to wrestle every night, as with the upcoming TV Show, it will serve as a supliment to the shows. The theme for the Untouchable Tour, courtesy American Recordings, is "Untouchable" by Luna Halo. Download it here.

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #12 Live from the U.S. Cellular Center, Des Moines, IA.
Trace Demon defeats Joe Gilmore and Dean Marcus. A decent opening match. These three did not have great chemistry, but the formula worked well enough. Gilmore was screwed out of a victory here, as he hit the Diamond Driver, but the effect in doing so, not only took out Marcus, but also made it so Gilmore could not take advantage. Demon then picked up Dean and hit a short arm Lariat for the pin. (C) (12:31)
Duan Sanchez Jnr. came out for an interview. It surprised some people, because of how soft spoken he is. He then swears that he will have a victory before the tour ends. Weird interview. (D)
Assassin defeats Jake Richards. These two have been watching their tapes, as it looked hard hitting, like something out of All Japan in it's prime. However, the crowd didn't get it, as these two just went as stiff as they could on each other. Assassin finally put away Richards with the Dragon's Way. (C) (12:09)
Evan Pagano defeats Devin Curtis. Much like every match before it, some OK action that just didn't 100% click. Nothing that the crowd would boo out of the building, but just nothing that really stuck. This was a long match too, and kind of wore the crowd out in the middle before the came back to life for the ending, which was the Futures Calling. (C) (22:01)
Michael Edwards, Nikollaj Punk, and TriPod defeat Duan Sanchez Jnr., Korey Gunz, and Ricky Williams. This was the match that the 9,000 Iowans came out to see. A long, and very good, main event. All 6 men wanted the victory... well 5 did... TriPod seemed more interested in getting in uncomfortable positions with the opponents than actually hitting moves. When Punk put Gunz away with the Nikollaj Driver, right before their main event, Sanchez Jnr. got IRATE. Not being booked for the PPV, this was his last opportunity to secure a win before it was over. Both Gunz, coming out of his stupor and Williams had to calm him down as the fans left the arena. (B-) (23:57) (MOTN)
