SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #2 Taking place at the Compuware Arena, Plymouth, MI.
Jake Richards defeats Joe Gilmore and Devin Curtis. With all due respects to Curtis, this was basically Richards vs. Gilmore, with him just being there. Either man had a shot at winning, and Curtis almost stole a couple of wins when one man would hit a big move but be unable to follow up. Finally, Gilmore got sick of Curtis and threw him over the top rope onto the crash mats below, but this distraction allowed Richards to flip him around and hit the Richards Driver for the victory. (D+) (8:51)
Dean Marcus defeats Assassin. It is almost impossible to defeat the incredible Assassin, as Marcus found out here. Assassin had him up for the Dragon's Way, but Marcus slipped out, but when he went for the Marc Out, he couldn't get Assassin like he wanted to. So he waited for him to get up, and hit a running Canadian Destroyer for the pinfall! (C) (7:39)
Michael Edwards defeats Duan Sanchez Jnr. Another night, another monster in Sanchez's way of starting his wrestling career right. Edwards arms are about as big as Sanchez is, period! It looked like a high school senior in there with a kindergarten student. And Edwards took out most of his aggression from the draw last week onto Sanchez, hitting him with 2 Future Drivers before finishing him off. (C-) (4:45)
Edwards, rather than leave after his match, waited around. "Big E" Evan Pagano made his way out for his match with Ricky Williams. Edwards at first offered him the night off, saying he would wrestle Williams again. Pagano, in no uncertain terms, said something very unkind about Edwards' mother. At this point, The Future became enraged. He told Pagano that he was a joke. His finisher, the Futures Calling, well Edwards is the future, so who is he calling? The Man in the Moon? And Big E? More like Little C! Edwards got into Pagano's face, and told him he was going to take him out of his next match... but down to the ring came Ricky Williams, and Edwards decided to walk away yelling at Williams that he can't hide forever. Pagano didn't have much gratitude for Williams helping him out, and shoved him in the back, starting the next match! (C)
Ricky Williams defeats Evan Pagano. Pagano and Williams had a really great match here, the match of the night for sure. Pagano hit a Futures Calling early on, but it wasn't enough. Afterwards, Williams had the momentum and he followed through with the momentum, nailing a Backdrop Driver onto Pagano, but Pagano was too close to the ropes. Williams then pulled out Evan to the middle of the ring and hit a lariat that just turned him inside out, to get the pinfall. (B) (19:49) (MOTN)
Korey Gunz defeats Chaz Classic, TriPod, and Nikollaj Punk. TriPod was the first to be eliminated. For a while, it was a question how, because no one wanted to pin him, because even when he was flat on his back... he was standing straight at attention. Fortunately, Chaz had an idea and locked him in the Sharpshooter for the submission victory. While he was celebrating, though, Punk grabbed him from behind and hit the Nikollaj Driver, pinning him and making the final 2 Gunz and Punk. After some great back and forth action, Gunz went for the Affliction, but Punk rolled out of it. Gunz turned around, went for the Flatliner, but Punk rolled through it. Gunz then kicked Punk in the gut, and this time was able to get him up and hit the Affliction for the pinfall victory. (C+) (27:54)

SWA Magazine News Update:
World Title Tournament to start next show!
The road to crowning a World Heavyweight Champion will begin at the very next tour event! The said participants are Ricky Williams, Korey Gunz, Chaz Classic, Jake Richards, Michael Edwards, Nikollaj Punk, Evan Pagano, and Trace Demon. The champion will be crowned at the April 18th Tour Event. The champion will then make two title defenses, against yet to be decided opponents, one at the May 9th event, and then one at the May 31st Supershow.
Michael Edwards and Ricky Williams: On a Collision Course?
The SWA Competition Committee has made an announcement that at the Supershow, Michael Edwards and Ricky Williams will face each other, one-on-one, in a match. The stipulations of the match have yet to be announced. In addition, there will be various other challenges between the two for the rest of the tour. If either man holds the SWA World Title, then their match on May 31st will be a SWA World Title match!
Duan Sanchez, Jnr. - is he ready for this?
Sanchez went into the sport to honor his father, but there is some whispering around the locker room that he's just not ready. He's the youngest in the SWA locker room, and he's hit a combined 4 total moves in his first two matches. When he was asked about this by a SWA Magazine reporter, he admitted that this wrestling stuff was harder than he'd ever imagined, but there's one thing he'll never do, and that's quit. And before you know it, he'll be winning all of his matches. We're certainly rooting for you, Sanchez.
Evan Pagano: LEAVE ME ALONE!
With everything that has happened, we are surprised that Pagano has not requested a match with Michael Edwards. When we asked him about this, he had no comment. After that verbal assault, I know I would want some payback, but maybe Pagano's not focused on that right now.
TriPod and Nikollaj Punk: A match made... somewhere.
After they both lost in the main event of the last show, TriPod and Punk were seen leaving the arena talking together. These two worked awfully well as a tag team in the first show. Is there something coming out of this budding friendship? Or was it just a coincidence? Only the future will tell.

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #3 Live from Bender Arena, Washington, DC.
Joe Gilmore, Assassin, and TriPod defeat Duan Sanchez Jnr., Dean Marcus, and Devin Curtis. This was a decent opening six man match. TriPod and Assassin looked the best out there, but the faces put up a damn good fight. Diamond Joe seemingly spent too much time in the ring, as he was tiring near the end, but he was still in enough shape to give Sanchez the Clockwork Lariat and pin him, giving Sanchez his third loss in a row. (D+) (14:07)
SWA World Title Tournament Quarter Finals: Nikollaj Punk defeats Ricky Williams. This match seemingly took the life out of Punk. He was gasping there at the end. Unfortunately for Ricky, it wasn't what happened inside the ring that made this effect, but rather, what happened on the outside. TriPod made another appearance, distracting Williams by wearing nothing but a towel. Williams seemed disgusted by what he saw, but this gave Punk enough time to hit the Nikollaj Driver to advance to the Semi-Finals. (C+) (16:50) (MOTN - tie)
SWA World Title Tournament Quarter Finals: Korey Gunz defeats Trace Demon. Gunz looked like an absolute superstar here. The fans loved him, and he was sharp in the ring. By contrast, Demon did not seem to have the stamina to keep up, although he hit a few nice moves of his own. He had his big opportunity to win, but Gunz kicked out of a Demon Driver, then hit the Affliction to advance to the Semi-Finals, where he will face Punk! (C) (13:56)
SWA World Title Tournament Quarter Finals: Chaz Classic defeats Evan Pagano. This was an awkward match, as Classic and Pagano are both very talented, but they just did not click in this. Many also felt it ran too long. Pagano went for the Futures Calling, had him up in the air, but then Classic countered it by coming down and picking up Pagano himself, and hitting the Brainbuster for the victory to advance to the Semis. On the way to the back, Pagano crossed Edwards as he was making his way out for the final match, and they stared each other down. (C-) (14:14)
SWA World Title Tournament Quarter Finals: Michael Edwards defeats Jake Richards. Richards just did not have the size in the long run, and it cost him here. This was a good match with both men going back and forth. Edwards ended up hitting a big Sling Blade for the victory, and after the match, mimmicked a title around his waist, insinuating that he would be the first SWA World Heavyweight Champion. (C+) (21:11) (MOTN - tie)

SWA Superstars and Somebodies Tour Event #4 Live from the Ahearn Field House, Manhattan, KS.
Dean Marcus wins a Six Man Challenge to become #1 Contender. EASILY the biggest win in Marcus' SWA career, as he wins the World Title shot on May 9th, regardless of who the champion is. 6 men in the ring at once took a toll on the crowd who found it a little hard to follow, and both Joe Gilmore and Trace Demon were gasping for air by the time the match was over. In fact, Demon hit the Demon Driver on Devin Curtis but could not follow up, allowing Marcus to slip under the radar and cover Curtis to win the match! (14:07) (C-)
Evan Pagano defeats Duan Sanchez Jnr. Another show, another heartbreaking loss for the rookie. However, unlike most, this was a close match. Sanchez surely had to think he had the match WON at several points, everyone in Manhattan was thinking it, but a Futures Calling and the crowd just died. A valiant effort, but he still came up just a little bit short. (11:26) (C-)
Chaz Classic and Korey Gunz defeat Michael Edwards and Nikollaj Punk. Interesting tag team match between the four men who are still in the hunt for the SWA World Title. Sure, every man wanted the winner's purse, but you didn't know how far you could trust your partner. This was a much bigger issue for Edwards and Punk than Classic and Gunz. Edwards and Punk finally got on the same page, when they tried to distract the ref and use a chair, but it backfired, and the chair ended up straight into Edwards' forehead. Classic then hit the Brainbuster and gave Edwards his first pinfall loss. (24:37) (C+)
Ricky Williams defeats TriPod. One of the better matches from the last few shows, these two had great chemistry in the ring and the crowd was absolutely hooked. Williams had to work around TriPod's... "excitement", which seems almost superhuman. TriPod went for the Climax, but Williams was just too big/strong, and countered it with a stiff lariat for the victory! (19:54) (B-) (MOTN)
While Williams was celebrating his victory, Michael Edwards hit the ring. Edwards got right in Williams face, and they were going to have a staredown... wait a second, here comes Evan Pagano... he doesn't like either one of these two! He acted like he was going to jump Edwards, but then leveled Williams! Wait a second! Michael Edwards and Evan Pagano are in cahoots! Evan lays out Williams with a Futures Calling, and then he picks him back up, and gives him to Edwards... who hits a Future Driver! (B)

Yeah, right now, everyone is going to be used for the second tour... when/if I get a really big roster (say... over 30), then I might give some people tours off, but I'll generally write them out rather than just "he won't be around for the next 3 months".

I doubt I'll post a card tomorrow, but there should be a new Magazine, and I should update the front post with the correct listings.

SWA Magazine News Update:
The Tournament Rolls On!
Where we once had 8, we now have four! Michael Edwards, Nikollaj Punk, Korey Gunz, and Chaz Classic are your final four in the fight to be the first SWA World Heavyweight Champion! This week we will find out who will be the final two. One man who is patiently awaiting to see who comes out of this is newly crowned #1 contender Dean Marcus. He has said he doesn't care WHO the champion is, he plans on pulling off a major upset and walking out as champion!
Ricky Williams: injured! And an association with Sanchez?
After the heinous attack on Williams by Michael Edwards and Evan Pagano this week, it was revealed that Williams suffered a shoulder injury. Fortunately, the MRI came back negative and he will not need surgery. He should be ready to go within a couple of weeks, and he will make every match that he has been advertised for. The next pair of shows, while it was assumed he would be there, he was not advertised in a match. If anything good comes out of this injury, it is that he has time to work with Duan Sanchez Jnr., who he has taken under his wing. Sanchez came very close to winning his first match this last show, and that was due to Williams' advice and help. They should be a great team.
SWA World Tag Team Title: Coming Next Tour!
There has been some talk about beginning a tournament for a tag team title. It has been decided that this tour does not need it, but belts have been ordered and there should be some method of crowning them done next tour.
A pair of dastardly duos!
After their attack on Williams last show, Michael Edwards and Evan Pagano were laughing about their ruse. They had been planning this out since the very first show of the tour. Build tension only to use it to their advantage later. Edwards, in an interview given straight to a SWA Magazine reporter, said that Pagano was his backup, his World Title insurance. Also formally aligning themselves are TriPod and Nikollaj Punk. TriPod helped Punk advance in the SWA World Title Tournament. Fortunately, for Korey Gunz, TriPod has been banned from ringside in Punk's tournament match against him.
