-I like that Smackdown kicks off with a tag match between the US Title contenders -Love that you brought in HF 2.0, hope. Them against Burke/Morrison would be great -Face JBL? I like what you're doing with Hager -After that little confrontation backstage, I hope Edge takes the gold from 'Taker at No Mercy -Kane over Shelton made sense, but I'd rather have Shelton win -Kane/Hager should be great -At least Umaga/'Taker is new but I doubt you'd put the title on Umaga and tbh, I want somebody besides 'Taker to hold the gold
Great show, I'm liking the majority of what you have going on so far

Pretty good opening match, could see SD opening with a match like that. Hart Foundation had to come eventually at some point. Like how you are doin the counter with Hager. You should boost it up with house shows and what not. Kane beating Benjamin is fine, and Kane-Hager is pretty interesting. I was actually pretty glad to see Umaga win because it's not really what I'd expect, and Taker-Umaga sounds like it'd be cool to see.

Awesome opening tag team contest to kick off WWE SmackDown with CM Punk and Kofi Kingston beating Charlie Haas and Carlito. One thing I admired about your diary before you went on hiatus a few months back is your booking of the United States Championship division. Wow, Hart Foundation V2 is pretty good, beating Deuce N Domino is fine. I actually like this storyline between Jake Hager and John Bradshaw Layfield. Hager seems like WWE's Goldberg. Feel sorry for Chavo Guerrero, though. Kane beating Shelton Benjamin is fine, glad Benjamin didn't get squashed, either. Umaga beating Chris Jericho and Edge is okay.

Glad to see Umaga win the title shot. I wouldnt mind even seeing him get a run with the belt. Cool to see the Hart Foundation debut, and a nice theme too.

Road to WrestleMania XXV Part I: October 2008 - January 25th, 2009 --Chris Jericho vs. Edge, and Kane vs. Jake Hager are added to the No Mercy PPV Card.
No Mercy --No Mercy kicks off with a bang, seeing Charlie Hass retain his WWE United States Championship against Kofi Kingston, Carlito and CM Punk. Hass comes away with the victory after an awesome finish that saw Punk take out Carlito and Kofi, but eventually be pinned by Hass, who drilled him with the Fisherman to get the win.
Next up we saw Jake Hager defeat Kane to keep his unbeaten streak alive, and Chris Jericho defeat Edge to earn a Championship Match at Survivor Series.
In perhaps the Match of the Night, John Cena Defeated Rey Mysterio and Triple H in the #1 Contenders Triple Threat Match, after Rey hit the 619 on Triple H, but Cena FU'ed Rey onto Triple H and covered the Game to get the win.
Next up was the World Heavyweight Championship Match, which saw the Undertaker prevail over Umaga to retain his belt. Following that match was the grudge match between Kennedy and Orton. This was the most barbaric match of the night. The finish saw Vince nail the referee as Kennedy covered Orton, and call out Shane McMahon with a referees shirt on. Shane refused to count Orton's shoulders down for the three, and Orton nailed an RKO on Kennedy to get the victory.
In the final match of the night, MVP Defeated Shawn Michaels to retain his WWE Championship after using his chain as a weapon to hit Michaels as the referee was distracted. ________________________________________________________
With 4 weeks until Survivor Series, the feuds started to heat up. John Cena made his bid to be the next WWE Champion, taking out MVP at the RAW following No Mercy, standing tall in the ring after hitting MVP with an FU.
Shawn Michaels, coming off of a cheap loss in a Title Match against MVP, lobbied for a position in the Survivor Series Title Match, but was not aloud to enter. Instead, William Regal named HBK the Special Guest Referee for the match.
Mr. Kennedy made a challenge to Randy Orton to put a team together for Survivor Series. Orton accepted, and Kennedy chose Marcus Cor Von, Rey Mysterio, and Shad and JTG as his partners, while Orton chose Intercontinental Champions, Ted Dibiase Jr. , Tag Team Champions, Elijah Burke and John Morrison, and Dibiase Jr.'s Tag Team Partner, Joe Henning.
Stephanie McMahon returned to Triple H's side soon after No Mercy, and tried to give him his confidence back. Stephanie convinced William Regal to let Triple H lead Team RAW at Survivor Series, with Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Rob Van Dam and Batista behind him.
Team Smackdown would be lead by Jeff Hardy, who would take Carlito, CM Punk, Charlie Hass and the returning Bobby Lashley as his four partners.
Of course, after beating Edge at No Mercy, Chris Jericho was set to face the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series, but Edge complained. Edge got himself a shot against Jericho, and if he won it, then he would enter into the match. Edge won the match, and the match at Survivor Series became a Triple Threat Match.
JBL revealed that he was making his In-Ring Return to teach Jake Hager some respect, and that at Survivor Series, the two would go one-on-one.
The final match on the Survivor Series Card would put Women's Champion of over a year, Beth Phoenix, take on Jazz.
Survivor Series --The first match of the night saw Team Orton steal a win from Team Kennedy. The final two on Team Orton were Orton and Dibiase Jr, and they were up against Shad, JTG, and Kennedy at a three on two disadvantage. Orton managed to eliminate JTG, while Kennedy eliminated Dibiase Jr. next, leaving Orton to a two on one disadvantage. Orton eliminated Shad, and we thought we would see Mr. Kennedy defeat Orton, but Mr. McMahon's interference allowed Orton to pin Kennedy with another RKO for the second straight month.
Beth Phoenix somehow retained her Women's Championship over Jazz in the next bout of the evening, which was followed up by Jake Hager defeating JBL to keep his undefeated streak alive, which had this point reach a phenomenal 20-0.
MVP retained his WWE Championship in the next match, which may have been the most shocking off all. Shawn Michaels, the Special Guest Referee, remained un-biased for most of the match until hitting John Cena with a Superkick as he held MVP in the air for an FU. MVP fell on Cena, and HBK counted Cena's shoulders down for the three, allowing MVP to retain, and shocking MVP, and all of the fans in the arena.
The next match saw Team Smackdown Defeat Team RAW at the fault of Triple H, who inadvertently hit Batista with a jumping knee at the conclusion of the match, which allowed Jeff Hardy to hit the Swanton Bomb for the victory. After the match Triple H's RAW team members refused to acknowledge him, as Stephanie tried to consult her husband, who was very upset.
The Main Event of the evening saw The Undertaker defeat Edge and Chris Jericho to retain his World Heavyweight Championship in a fantastic match, which saw Edge miss a spear and connect on Chris Jericho in the finale, which allowed Undertaker to Tombstone Edge and pin him for the victory. ________________________________________________________
With Armageddon three weeks away. Mr. Kennedy made a challenge to Shane McMahon with the stipulation being that if Kennedy wins the match, then he will finally get a WWE Championship Match, and Vince, Orton and Shane would be banned from interfering.
The Game would soon enter into a feud with Batista, who set his sights on taking out the Game once and for all, telling Triple H that it was time for his career to end, and he doesnt have it anymore. This however, was different from their 2005 feud, as going into the match, Triple H was the face, and Batista was the heel.
MVP was set to defend his title against Rey Mysterio at Armageddon after Mysterio won a #1 contender's Battle Royale on RAW the following Monday after Survivor Series, due to Shawn Michaels and John Cena being in a heated rivalry that put the two in a match at Armageddon. HBK told everyone that he turned on Cena because he's tired of seeing Cena being considered as the man, when the true man to beat in the business has always been HBK.
The Undertaker's Title Defense would be against Jeff Hardy, the man who led Team Smackdown to a victory at Survivor Series.
Charlie Hass would have to defend his Championship against Carlito, who defeated Kofi Kingston in a #1 contender's match on Smackdown several weeks prior to Armageddon.
Chris Jericho and Edge were set to meet for a final time in a Last Man Standing Match, and John Morrison and Elijah Burke were set to defend their Tag Team Titles against the team of CM Punk and Kofi Kingston.
Armageddon --We saw Titles change hands in the first match of the night, as CM Punk and Kofi Kingston defeated Elijah Burke and John Morrison to become the NEW Tag Team Champions, ending Burke and Morrison's near 8 month reign as Champions.
Mr. Kennedy was able to defeat Shane McMahon in the challenge match, countering Orton interference and hitting the Mic Check on Shane to pull out the victory, earning him a WWE Title shot at the Royal Rumble.
Charlie Hass retained his WWE United States Title in the next bout against Carlito, and Edge out-lasted Chris Jericho to be the Last Man Standing after Psycho Sid returned to Edge's side to help him claim victory over Jericho.
Shawn Michaels defeated John Cena in a very brutal No Holds Barred Match that saw both men busted open and Michaels get the win after Superkicking a chair into Cena's face.
In the next match, Batista was victorious over Triple H after Ric Flair showed up at ringside and slapped the Game in the face, rattling the Game, seeming to put him OUT of the Game for the rest of the match, allowing Batista to nail the Batista Bomb to get the victory.
In the next match, The Undertaker defeated Jeff Hardy to retain his Championship, but following the match, the now 23-0 Jake Hager attacked the Deadman, bloodying him and smearing the blood on his chest, declaring that he was next in line to face the Deadman.
The Main Event of the Night saw MVP Defeat Rey Mysterio to retain the WWE Championship, cleanly, to the surprise of many. ________________________________________________________
With the Royal Rumble 4 weeks away, the Road to WrestleMania was about to begin.
Mr. Kennedy is set to challenge MVP for the WWE Championship, and The Undertaker will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against now 25-0 Jake Hager.
Two other matches that were added to the Rumble Card were Ted Dibiase Jr. defending the Intercontinental Championship against Marcus Cor Von, along with Charlie Hass defending the United States Title against Kofi Kingston.
With the Rumble so close, many superstars, such as Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, CM Punk, Triple H, Batista, Edge and Chris Jericho stated their points and made predictions on which of them would walk out of Detroit as the Winner of the 2008 Royal Rumble, and head to WrestleMania 25 to get a shot at a Title Belt. Vince McMahon personally named Randy Orton #30 in the match.
Royal Rumble --The first two matches of the night saw both Ted Dibiase Jr. and Charlie Hass retain their titles over their respective opponents.
In the next match, the highly dangerous Jake Hager fell short of defeating the Undertaker, as the Deadman became the ONLY man to defeat Jake Hager in the WWE after not one, but TWO Tombstone Piledrivers that put away Hager for good.
The next match saw Mr. Kennedy capture the WWE Championship from MVP, after a masked man hit the ring trying to attack Kennedy, but instead hit MVP. Kennedy took care of the Masked Man and then hit the Mic Check on MVP, as the referee recovered, and counted MVP's shoulders down, naming Mr. Kennedy the NEW WWE Champion!
The 2009 Royal Rumble saw Randy Orton victorious over John Cena and Shawn Michaels in the Final Three. As Michaels and Cena battled on the apron, Orton hit a Double RKO to both men, sending both of their necks onto the top rope, launching both men off of the apron, and signifying that Randy Orton had won the 2009 Royal Rumble, and was heading to WrestleMania XXV.
Part Two Coming Soon.

Great stuff
-Hager/'Taker is godly, perfect RR Title match. Glad 'Taker retained as its too early for Hager, but 'Taker needs to drop the strap soon. Didn't like Kennedy ending MVP's reign, but he was built up well in this diary. I see Kennedy/Orton at 'Mania. The return of Pyscho Sid was good too.

Road to WrestleMania XXV Part II/IV: January 25th, 2009 - February 14th, 2009 With Randy Orton now the man with the WrestleMania Title Shot in his hands, the Road to WrestleMania began.
The card for No Way Out started to fall into place, as the first match was announced as the Undertaker defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Lashley. Lashley viciously attacked the Deadman the night after the Royal Rumble on RAW after Randy Orton chose to face Mr. Kennedy for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, If Kennedy is still the Champion. Lashley was set to square off with the Deadman at No Way Out.
Mr. Kennedy's first title defense at No Way Out was scheduled to be a second match against MVP.
Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Jake Hager and Jeff Hardy were the six participants that were to be in the Elimination Chamber Match at No Way Out, with the winner facing the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXV.
Edge was irate at Long's decision of not entering him into the #1 contenders match, and Edge proceeded to take out his frustration on anyone he could find. Long then decided to put Edge in a match at No Way Out, but it would be against Kane. Perhaps the biggest mistake Edge could have made was interrupting Stone Cold Steve Austin's Hall of Fame Induction Announcement, which prompted the Rattle Snake to return earlier than expected, and Stun the Rated R Superstar on the RAW previous to No Way Out.
One of the last few matches rounding out the No Way Out Card was Triple H taking on Batista once again, with his wife Stephanie in his corner, and Ric Flair in the corner of Batista.
Along with that match came the announcement of the last match on the card, with pit Women's Champion Beth Phoenix against Jazz for a second time, in a rematch of their Armageddon Match.
No Way Out Coming Soon. Results will be posted on the website.
