Anyone get Zelda special edition? It is sold out everywhere around me and I can't wait any longer! So I bought regular edition, haven't opened it yet.
If you have the special edition one I have 2 questions: 1. Did the the actual game case inside the cardboard box come shrink wrapped? 2. Is the UPC code on the actual game case inside the cardboard box the same as the regular edition? My US copy of regular edition is 04596902674
Thanks.

The game that's inside is identical to the standard edition of the game, and is shrink wrapped.

I decided to get my 3DS sent in for repair after the loose hinge made it almost unplayable. I'm really excited to get it back, as I'll be getting MK7 for Xmas. I doubt the system will be back anytime before the new year, but excited nonetheless.
I love that two of my nephews are getting Mario games this Christmas and I am to. Love that Nintendo just transcends generations like that.

I got the limited edition and the UPC code on the game case is different. It's 045496902698 and right above it it says "Not for Resale".

I love that two of my nephews are getting Mario games this Christmas and I am to. Love that Nintendo just transcends generations like that. Isn't that cool? I'm glad some kids still play the kid-friendly games. Seems like so many of them jump straight into the M-rated stuff, and it's really disheartening. I went to a birthday party a year ago, and I wound up playing NSMB Wii with a bunch of kids there. One kid knew all about the games I grew up with when I was his age a good decade-and-a-half ago. He was really into it, too. I was showing them all kinds of secrets and helped them beat a few games. I know how it feels from a child's perspective to have adults take interest in games. I grew up with older cousins who introduced me to some of my absolute favorite classics back in the day. I still remember them showing me 3D video games for the first time and asking them "what's a PlayStation?" after they unwrapped it for Christmas. And my grandmother and I would play games all the time, too. So while most adults couldn't be bothered, I always had great memories of when they shared common interest. I think it's important for kids to see that hey, not all adults just play exclusively violent shooters. Kids typically want to be seen as older than they really are, so they might completely dismiss good, creative and colorful games in order to feel "mature", and then they just lose sight of their childhood after awhile, and it's just sad to see.

Two things: 1) Got this in the mail. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with it, but hey, it was free: 2) I finally got to the super secret "thing" in SM3DLand. You have to flagpole every single level in the game, get all the star coins and beat the game with each character to unlock it. I strongly suggest that anyone looking to get to this "thing" makes sure to flagpole all the levels to begin with to save time. I had to beat some of the levels 3 times over to do this, not counting the really hard flagpoles.

And I would always get the shocked faces of people with the looks of "What the do you mean you've never played Cave Story?!?" I pop it into the 3DS, and it's almost like "MY GOD! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?"

I totally just got Cave Story 3D today for my friend for Christmas. Got it half-off at TRU when I picked up Mario Kart 7.

Went to the Nintendo store in the Melbourne and picked up MK7, sadly they had no hats, but i'll try to get some from another store. :/
I'm loving MK7 though, it's so beautiful. That, Skyward Sword and SM3DL should keep me busy until Christmas. :3

Cheers! Sounds cool, but the character on the front of the 3DS box looks like a cheap version of Ash Ketchum

Finally getting around to playing Mario Galaxy 2. Very fun and just like the first one.
How do you guys play Mario Galaxy? Do you get all the possible stars for each level and then move on to the next one? Or do you jump around and just get whatever? Right now I get all the available stars for a stage before moving on.

I got all the stars aside from the bonus ones that would pop up (sporadically got those, never got them all) before moving on to the next world.

Also, here's the full 3DS Ambassador list for the upcoming GBA games:
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones Kirby & The Amazing Mirror Mario Kart Super Circuit Mario vs Donkey Kong Metroid Fusion Wario Land 4 WarioWare Inc: Mega Microgame$
