Did anybody read about how WWE is headed to a more KIDDY type of direction? Around 6 years years old I've heard.... WWE is coming out with a cartoon and a kids magazine and website. WWE drops to another low. WWE is aggressively pursuing a larger youth audience. The company has plans to launch a new bi-monthly magazine called WWE Kids on April 15th. In addition to the magazine, the company has launched WWEKids.com and according to Variety, a new television series could follow. WWE is targeting 6 to 14 year olds.

Well, the kids are the future.
I'm sure there were a good number of adult fans post-Hogan era that couldn't stand the gimmicks of the early to mid-90s in WWF. That's where we are at now again, except it's the kids who grew up in the Attitude era who are complaining about Cena and Batista today.

The kids show will be some cartoon. It isn't like Raw, SD and ECW are going to be geared toward kids. They're just expanding their horizons.

A wrestling themed cartoon will be nothing but excellent. Even if it is absolutely horrible, it will give that corney hokey "this is so bad it's good" vibe that makes sites like Wrestlecrap run successfully. If they produce a cartoon, I might actually wake up on Saturday mornings to watch it

Great.
Maybe they can move Cena and some other guys we hate to the kids show, and we can have good wrestling again.

Smart move by WWE.
Kids occupy a large portion of the fanbase, so why not take advantage of it?

I still think they should make a cartoon just about Rey... He can be a detective or Superhero or something, it would be perfect.
And being more kid friendly doesn't mean that it won't still be good... They need to find a balance so kids can watch, but older fans will enjoy it to.
