Don't reply and say "Who cares" since I'm sure A LOT of people want to know.
The Blu-ray version of Wrestlemania 24 has been bumped up to a May 20, 2008 release. The same day the DVD version comes out. Amazon.com originally reported an October 28 release.

Damn, that new PS3 is coming home sooner than I was expecting. If only the latest DVDs would be in the new WWEHD widescreen format, I could save myself $400+.

I'd love to see the WWE come out with a Blu ray three pack of the Rumble, No Way and Mania. Looks like the only Blu-rays I'll be buying are WWE ones

thats great news for people who want the blu ray. i was wondering why the hell they needed so much time. regular movies launch the same time as blu ray.

Good news. I don't buy WWE PPVs on DVD(or Blu-ray now) but I'll make an exception for this one.

Like I've said before, they now have 50 GB to work with, so they better go all out with extras. - Entire Hall-of-Fame ceremony.
- Build up videos to every match.
- Wrestlemania Week activies.
- Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Jericho (from Raw)
- John Cena & Randy Orton vs. The Raw Roster
- MVP vs. Chris Jericho (from Smackdown)
Anyone else got any ideas what they could add to the list?

Anyone else got any ideas what they could add to the list? Well, considering they loaded their first DVD (WM2000, right?) with a ton of extras, you'd think they'd do it with the first Blu-Ray.

Hopefully they'll ad a few additional extras to the regular DVD as well as a plethora for blu-ray.

50GB isn't a lot when you're dealing with an HD video.

if you wanna see what Blu Ray can really do, pick up Cars. It is absolutely astounding. For animated titles I have that & Ratatoullie and Cars is just ridiculously awesome looking/sounding. I personally can't wait for Mania because WWE in HD looks great so I can only imagine what it'll look like in Blu Ray.

This is great news for anyone that has the option of viewing Blu-ray, and is also a wrestling fan.
I saw the price listed on Amazon as about $35, which isn't too much, so I think I might go ahead and buy my first Blu-ray disc. I've rented many Blu-ray movies from Netflix but never felt the need to buy any movies as standard DVD's are still what I prefer buying.
As others have said, I just hope there are some good special features and that the picture quality is top-notch.
