I finished the book last night (well, I guess this morning). Once I got to the WCW chapters, I had to see it through the end without stopping. I'm not sure how many people appreciate Jericho's way of writing (with all the sidenotes and made up words), but I loved it. It was like having a conversation with a good buddy.
I wonder how much Benoit was cut out. He was still mentioned quite a bit and Jericho made sure we knew how important Benoit was to his life and career.
There were a few errors (such as JR's foreward calling Atlanta's promotion WWC and a missing period and closed quotation mark) but the style in which is was written made any errors more forgivable, because it was such a fluent story with Chris's unique vonacular.
I don't think we'll see Jericho's next book until he has retired from the WWE, because it will have to cover his run as Undisputed Champion and how badly Triple H and Steph screwed up his run. I don't think he'd want to piss them off until he's no longer dependant on them for a job.

I thought it was a great book, really got the impression that Jericho didn't hold back & written in a really engrosing way. I liked the fact that although WCW & Bischoff got slagged off, he was quick to praise Bisch for anything good he did
Really looking forward to the sequel

I just finished the book earlier this week. I really liked it. I especially enjoyed reading of Jericho's experiences in Japan.

Took me 3 days to get through A Lion's Tale, I loved every second of it. Took 'To Be The Man' out of the #1 spot for me, I loved it that much. Probably the funniest, most interesting, and most engrossing book I have ever read. First book to make me cry, too. Owen's funeral was really sad. "What happened, man? We were supposed to be tag champs one day."

Fantastic book one of my favorite wresting ones to tell the truth I would put it 2nd only behind Foley's first book.
Like someone else touched on it was like having a conversation with a buddy. I have always been a Jericho fan and I am not going to lie and say he has always been my all time favorite in fact I would put him probably number 8 in my all time top 10 but reading this book makes me even a bigger Jericho fan did it have this kind of effect on any of you guys.
the book just left me wanting moore I was gutted when it ended I knew going in it did not have his WWE run but the end just left you hanging waiting for the next part.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait for his next book to be released. He's a very good storyteller.

I actually never read it because I only have one copy and it's autographed from when I met him last November. I sat down at a bookstore and read a different copy, the 2nd chapter since the first chapter is available online, and I liked what I read so far. I'll probably pick up a copy to read when they go down in price. But my autographed one is staying perfect. Not gonna risk ing it up.

Its great, best wrestling biography ive read, and ive read Flairs, HBKs, and Edges, and Y2J takes the top spot. It wasnt boring at all. I think that it wasnt boring, because in Edges, HBKs, and Flairs, there were a lot of childhood stuff for the first few chapters, while Y2J's pretty much jumps right in to when he began his career.

After reading how he tore in Bischoff and other guys, I hope he doesn't dance around Triple H buring him time after time. I've never really heard Jericho's thoughts publicly about all the backstage politics with Triple H. You're right...it is going to be interesting to see what he does say. I get the feeling he's not going to totally tear apart anyone from the current roster just because it's not professional to do. He'll definitely have some controversial stuff to say, though, because remember: Jericho's books aren't released through the WWE's publishing company, meaning he doesn't have to abide by any of their guidelines.
