I recently started watching the new HBK dvd, and on disc 2 noticed that during the Rockers/Hart Foundation 2 out of 3 falls title match that is no commentary and was wondering why there is no commentary. It looks like it was from Saturday Night Main Event. I used to watch it and could have sworn there was announcers.Did they edit them out or was there just no announcers. You can here the crowd and the wrestlers yelling fine just no announcers, by the way who would of been the announcers.

That match was never actually aired on TV. This was because the rope broke during the match and Vince gave the titles back to the Hart Foundation because of the ropes breaking shortly after so WWE never aired the match hence no commentary.

Since the match never aired on tv, no commentary was done for the match. At the time, all of the commentary was done in the studio.

^Even up to the late 90's they would do the in studio commentary for taped RAW's and mention something happening in the last week to make it seem fresh. I remember just seeing King and JR staring at their monitors not moving their lips, but you could hear them on commentary.
