I was recently reading The Ross Report where Jim Ross was supposedly answering a question from a fan about whether or not he thought MVP was the next Rock. Now while I found this to be an interesting question, I am kind of bothered by how Ross answered it. Now during cross branded matches matches, Ross usually stays in "kayfabe" mode when referencing non-RAW wrestlers, pretending to not have alot of knowledge or historical information. That's why I found it to be odd that he offered a brief yet deep analysis of the MVP of Smackdown. To me this seemed like a good question, but rather oddly placed and seemed more like an attempt to get people to be more accepting towards MVP if the inevitable face turn occurs. And while I can see the similarities between the two, I find MVP to be the last wrestler that I would compare to The Rock for future potential.
Your Thoughts?

Wrestling wise, he has Rock beat by miles. I love MVP, he plays him gimmick perfectly, but he'll never achieve the status of the rock.

My thoughts? You not flood the boards with all this crap.
And hurricane, he will be a Multiple time World Champion. Frankly, I think he might win it before 2008 closes.

Yeah I don't think MVP will achieve what The Rock has achieve however if MVP sticks around longer than The Rock anything is possible you never know. The Rock had some pretty memorable matches that us WWE fans can't never forget

Yeah I would like to see MVP wrestle a good match with Taker and win the World title somewhere in the near future you know. I think this will be a good push for MVP early in his career you know what I'm saying

MVP is awesome. I was skeptical when he first debuted but he has really grown on me. I am a really big fan now, and I see great things for him in the future.

MVP is nowhere near as charsimatic or entertaining in his matches as the rock

MVP is the next MVP. No need to compare him to anyone.

I love MVP.
He's one of the highlights of Smackdown for me.
But I don't think he's anywhere on level with the Rock.
I do hope he's very successful for years to come though.

Atleast wait until he has a face turn before you compare him to The Rock

MVP is a waste of ing space. Says the guy who's name is... Says the guy who has Edge in his sig. Sharkboy is right MVP is a waste of damn space. Just like Khali, The Miz, Kennedy, and crapsky
