1998 for one reason and one reason only. Mike Tyson's reaction to Steve Austin winning the Rumble. "Cold Stone is mah man!"

Royal Rumble of 1998 is my favorite of the two.
While I really enjoyed the Rock and Mankind's I Quit match at Rumble '99, I prefer the undercard of the 1998 Royal Rumble.
Rocky/Shamrock was a pretty good IC title bout, as well as the LOD/NAO Tag title match. Hell, I even liked Vader/Goldust and the six-man tag mini match. Also, Austin leaving as the Royal Rumble winner is one of those iconic Rumble moments when you just knew he would walk away at WrestleMania as champion and would lead the WWF into a completely new (and great) era.
And, this event also helped push the Mike Tyson storyline, which looking back ten years later, was SO much better than the lackluster Mayweather/Show feud at the moment.

Rock- continuing to make millions and has a great legacy . Has enough sense to stay away. One of the few who is done when they said they were done. Austin- Had an injury and has the sense to stay out of the ring. Makes appearances every now and then. Michaels- Still out their putting on matches nowhere compared to his old ones and is doing nothing to build onto his career. Sure he has had some good matches since his return, but shouldnt have came back after Orton "ended" his career. Needs to hang up the boots. At 42, Michaels is far better than the guy in your sig. Im not trying to insult him because you like him, while you think telling me Michaels is better is going to affect me. I am stating the turth. Michaels has done nothing since his return and really didnt want to come back in the first place. He should have stuck with it. Am I saying Flair/Michaels wont be good? Hell no, I expect it to be nothing less than great. But lets face facts, Michaels should go when Flair goes.

1998. Solid event overall.
Brought the Taker/Kane feud to a next level. Austin began his journey to Wrestlemania.
The Rumble match was intresting itself.
They also had those midgets on the card, didn't they?
