Ok, heres my story.
I started watching wrestling at the age of 3, and I will turn 15 this year, so for a good 12 years I have watched it. Ok, first thing is, I use to watch the show when I was young for something to excite me, and back then, the WWF had so mnay good story lines, and charcters, I use to love it. Here are some of the things I remeber
Rock vs Mankind fued
Triple H vs Stone Cold fued
Rock vs Stone Cold fued
Jericho vs Benoit matchs
It made me think, "Is there any feeling left?" In what I mean is there use to be a awesome fued with a great back story, and then the match that culminated it was great. I remeber Stone Cold siding with Mcmahon at WM17. When my next door neighbor lent me the tape the day after Mania, I had no idea what happened, and when it did happen I was in complete shock. I still thought Stone Cold was awesome, because well, hes Stone Cold. I remeber when Mankind and the Rock where in the bleachers at RR 99, and Rock nailed Mankind and flew down and fell into a area filled with eletronic equipment! I saw it live, cus my brother had people sleep over. I remember Bash at the Beach from WCW, I remeber seeing Malenko and mysterio, and many other greats at that PPV.
There just seems to be no more emotion in matches and fueds. Well, thanks for reading.
Thoughts would be appreciated.

I know how you feel. Im 16, and have been watching religiously since 3-4. I absolutely loved everything about the sport. The excitement. The feeling you get while waiting for Monday Night Raw...knowing your gonna be amazed. But thats gone. And now, I dont give 2 craps about wrestling anymore. I watch it, waiting for the day it turns around. But I dont give a if I miss it anymore. Most of the wrestlers suck. The wrestling sucks. The storylines suck. The PPV's arent nearly as good as they used to be. And it all keeps going further downhill, with what looks like no intention to stop.

Not that I ever thought wrestling was real, but now I know way too much about it. There's no element of surprise. Don't get me wrong, for me, at the moment the WWE has some of the best wrestlers to date (gimmick-wise) but it's a lot less entertaining now.

I'll be 16 in 4 months and Ive been watching fora good 12 or 13 years as well I think the excitement is gone because you're growing up. When you were a child you were expossed to many things, and had a big imagination but now that you know truth from magic and myth its not the same,

As the first lad said the storylines are crap know. Think of when hogan slammed andre, a big and great storyline came with the match and when he slammed him it was unbeliveable. Then cena faces khali, no storyline to the match at all and when he f-u'd him nothing was thought of it.

WWE just isn't any good anymore. Or at least not as good as it was 5 years ago and prior. It has nothing to do with being a "smark".

I think I've gone off WWE because I'm a lot smarter than I was & also because current wrestlers & storylines are a lot harder to buy into.

I've been watching wrestling for the past 7 years. I could become a smark and easily point of the mistakes and find ways to ruin it for myself by thinking PPV's are boring and the storylines are too far fetched, but I won't.
I watch wrestling for 2 reasons. 1. I enjoy it and 2. It helps me unwind from a stressful working life. There's nothing better than chilling out watching a PPV with a couple of icey cold Pepsi's and doughnuts after a hard working week.
The WWE rocks!
Thumbs up.
