The Era of Higher Authority

Welcome to a new Era of WFWF, I know we are both hoping to get things running quickly. As before we need people who are still active to contact us or reply to the thread so we can get a tally of who hasnt taken off unnoticed. Also with this there are going to be some changes to the way things are run.

#1. We are going to become a two title belt fed. The Hamshank and Interglatic Spaceman titles will have their names changed. Hamshank will become International and of course the IS title will become WFWF World Title. The International title will stay with McGurk and since the World Title is now empty it will be decided through a tournament of 8 competitors this month, leading into the ppv.

Also the WFWF World Title will be done by Pure Rules(ask CBT). It really wont effect rps but more the way the matches are written. So dont worry about it all that much, actually I think I will make CBT make a post about what exactly Pure Rules means.

#2. I'm putting together a group of dedicated WFWFer's who soul mission is to have the results to me without endings by the day before the cut off. I know that Tater and Obo have both volunteered to be part of this group but I still would like to get two more people atleast. Basically, I will divvy up the results and these people will write matches and then send them to me the day before cut off so I can have everything ready for after cut off. If you cannot get the results to me when I ask for them do not ask to be part of this. I know sometimes ppl can't do it and you can tell me but I need dedicated ppl who want this fed to run smooth.

#3. The past results. I have no idea, I need to speak with Drakz about getting what he has, but if we cannot get them. I'm going to say were prolly going to scratch the show, im sorry for all of you whose hard work was put in. But idk and I will do my best to atleast get the winners or maybe we will do a vote of our own if we need to. I'm not sure but we will keep you all updated on that situation.

Hmm...I think those are the main points of change that will be taking place. I think I'll leave CBT now to tell you anything he wants to.

Pure Rules
-Each wrestler has three rope breaks to stop submission holds and pinfalls during the match. After a wrestler exhausts his rope breaks, submission and pin attempts under the ropes by the opponent are considered legal.
-There are no closed-fist punches to the face allowed in a Pure match, only open-handed slaps or chops to the face are allowed. Punches to other parts of the body (save for low-blows) are permitted. The first use of a closed fist will get a warning, and the second will cause the wrestler to be penalized a rope break. If he is already out of rope breaks, he will be disqualified.
-A wrestler is subject to a twenty count by the referee if the wrestler goes to the floor.
-While not a rule itself, it is worth noting that unlike other championships, the WFWF World championship, defended under Pure Rules, can change hands on a disqualification or count out.

In other words. The belt is something of importance, and will have a set of rules to apply that. There will be no such thing as a win by no-show, I will mark sure of it. There will be more indepth results, that will see these rules applied. I hope it will become something of interest in WFWF. The rules may also be applied in any title shot or #1 contenders matches. So I may not do all the Pure Rules matches. But I will be the mentor to them, if that makese sense. As for additional information.

-Me and Rev know the importance of everyone in the fed. Each member adds something to WFWF, so to get the most out of anyone, we need to get RPs. If you don't RP, you'll most likely not get booked. Makes sense, right?

-There is no more Tag Team division. Tags and factions are fine, and infact, encouraged. But the belts are in no position to be defended in anyway, and the division is piss poor. So tag teams and other multi-person matches, will serve use for feud developement, and to get the most out of the roster.

-Right now, aside from help with results. Creative-wise, we wanna start from scratch, and do our own thing. So don't volunteer and feuds or angles, or ask us about prior ones. We want to re-establish competition, and not dry-run people.

-I'm active on the boards, any questions can be PM'd to me, on aim. I got a life like anybody, so don't just im me to say.. "hi." Thats ofcourse unless your one of my inferiors, which is fine with me.

A follow-up. Pure Rules is a special stip match, don't feel pressured. Its involvement with the new WFWF World Heavyweight title, is only in title matches. But, that does not put a limit or regaurd on the title matches.
So in other words.
A International title match can possibly be defended under pure rules. While the WFWF World title, could be defended in a cage, sans Pure Rules.
The Pure Rules is just a way to set WFWF apart, under my and Rev's ruling. Nothing is written in stone.
But hope you guys enjoy are work in progress. Look forward to making the matches, I knew should and could be awesome.
