Obo Odium - The Abduction of Vanessa McGurk

They say good things come to those who wait. They say what goes around comes around. My time has apparently come. I have stumbled upon something sweet, yet sour at the same time. It’s almost ironic. Wayne took something from me, and I took something from him. Revolution has never been quite so cold, Wayne, and this is a lesson you are going to learn, better late than never.

The room is darkened. The room looks very bleak. No decorations are on the walls and the only furnature in the room is a single steel chair. The chair has a bar running through the bottom which prevents it from folding up in any way. A body sits in the chair. The body of a shapely woman. Even in the darkness, we can see every curve of the woman’s body. Her torso is covered to the belly button by a loose fitting shirt. In the darkness, the design of the shirt is still clear to the naked eye, it’s a referee shirt. Tight black pants cover the woman’s body from the hips down. Looking at the woman’s head, she can quickly be identified as Vanessa “Phoenix” McGurk. Phoenix wiggles and squirms, trying to get free from her restraining, but her dominator has tied her to such a degree that she cannot get even the slightest bit of her arm free. A cackle is heard in the near background. Obo steps into view, his body still soaked in blood. His shirt is slightly torn and his face is covered in dried blood.

Vanessa: What do you want with me??

Obo: Oh sweet Vanessa. Don’t worry your little mind about what I am planning. Just sit back and prepare for the ride of your life!

Vanessa’s eyes bug out of her head and she begins to scream.

Vanessa: HELP!!! SOMEBODY HELP ME!

Obo: Oh Vanessa, so naïve. Screaming will do nothing but make your lungs hurt. You are in a sound proof room. I could fire off a shot gun in here and no one would here a thing. Besides, even if your pathetic squeals did escape from this room, who’s going to hear you? Everybody left the arena hours ago. Even your hero and husband Wayne left. I told him you would meet up with him at the hotel and the stupid f*cker believed me.

Vanessa is almost in tears at this point.

Vanessa: What are you going to do with me? What are you going to do with me??

Obo: Vanessa McGurk. You thought you were going to pull a fast one. You thought you were going to referee my match. You thought you were going to screw me and help your husband. You thought the cards were all in your hand, but when you played your hand and I played mine, I beat you with an ace high. Perhaps you came unprepared for what was going to be the most devastating force ever, or perhaps you’re just an ignorant dumb bitch. Whatever the case, you are now in my clutches.

Vanessa struggles to get free from her chair, but she is firmly restrained.

Vanessa: Let me go you sick bastard!

Obo responds to this insult with a slight smirk on his face, brushing the blood soaked hair out of his eyes.

Obo: Oh Vanessa, you common skank, do you suck Kyzer’s dick with that mouth? I will let you go in due time, but first I am going to have a little bit of fun. Your husband took something away from me that I held dearly so I take something from him. He took my championship belt, so I took you. You’re not a championship belt, but you do look quite attractive, tied up like that. Maybe I could get a thick leather strap and wear you around my waist like a new championship belt..

Vanessa: WHAT??

Obo leans in and rubs Vanessa’s exposed stomach with an evil smirk on his face. Vanessa now has tears running down his face and dripping into an intricate pattern onto her shirt. Obo sees these tears and begins to smile like a cat. Obo leans in and takes a quick lick off of Vanessa’s face like a lollipop, licking up several tears.

Obo: Very sweet, just like I pictured.

Vanessa: (sobbing incoherently)

Obo: Oh sweet Vanessa, you could have escaped this torment. You had the chance. You had several chances, but instead you walked the straight and narrow and walked right into my fox hole. The fox has caught his prey. (grabbing Vanessa by the neck with one hand and by the hair with the other) I could destroy you right now. I could annihilate everything that is you. I could put an end to you. (Obo releases his hand from Vanessa’s throat) But I won’t. I’m not sneaky like your kind are. I’m not manipulative like your group is. I don’t abuse my resources. I think I’ll just leave you to suffer. Send a message to Wayne though. Tell him Obo is coming for him, and is coming to take back his property.

A quick scratching noise of duct tape unrolling is heard and Obo has a segment of duct tape in his hand. He places the duct tape over Vanessa’s mouth, leaving her to squeal under the tape. Obo pushes the chair over, leaving Vanessa taped, tied to the chair, and on the ground. With this, Obo leaves the room with a chuckle.

OOC: So here's my Odium roleplay. Tried something new with this one. It's set immediately following Superbrawl. I want to thank Wayne for letting me use Vanessa for this.

This was ok Obo but not your best. The description was lacking a flow. It could have gone into more depth to help set the scene. You could have said much more with Obo's speech as well. Also I thought Obo woke up in hospital after SB?

I haven't read many of your roleplays honestly, so I don't really know much about your character (in terms of how he talks). But the one big problem I had is how you'll go from swearing, calling her a skank, and accusing her of committing fellatio to saying that you'll "destroy" her. It seems really out of place, sounds very forced, doesn't really go along with how Obo talked previously, and in that context, honestly, it just sounds kind of stupid.

I enjoyed the roleplay though. Even though I half expected it to end with you unbuttoning your pants and her screaming, it always kept my attention. Really, that's the entire purpose of a roleplay, so good job on that.

Obo isn't really face any more. He hasn't been for a while. More like a tweener with heel like actions, like Stone Cold from 1997, just with more f bombs and barbed wire

Actually, Stone Cold was approved for his actions, he also was anti-authority.
While Obo on the other hand, attracts disgust from his fellow wrestlers, and the fans aren't always a fan of his action.

He's like Sabu meets Necro Butcher with a strong case of Tourette syndrome.

This rp was good, but its like a heel turns coming. you don't come off as a tweener, I mean think of it like this..
If The Rock said WWE sucked, and the fans are a bunch of kiss asses. then came back for one night, 2 months down the road. He'd far from get a hero's welcome.
Your actions don't resemble a tweener, but a self-righteous heel.

Im going to be honest here.....I didn't like this all too much. For one, you never really explained from the start.....where this blood soaked body came from.....it just......appeared out of no where.......I had no idea this took place RIGHT after SB until you said it afterwards. The idea to abduct (sp) Vanessa was good....but I honestly do think you talked too much about destroying her, and no where near enough about destroying Wayne.

Or to be more perspective.....you say you want to seek revenge....well, everyone is going to say that.....sooo, I kind of expected that...You have done way better then this. I know you said you were gonna try something new....but I really dont' think it worked out for you here. If you would have said more about wayne....maybe I'd think differerently.

One thing I did like about this rp....you cut back on the swearing a LOT. It made the conversation seem more professional and it flowed better that way. I thinkthat's what obo needs....so....you did go int he right direction there....I just didn't like the overall theme you used....and I think you needed to talk about wayne a lot more.

While I was hoping Obo would say a little more about Wayne, it wouldn't really fit in here. Agian, much more could have been drawn from this, but I think his overall message was clear and effective. by tormeting and telling Vanessa how he was going to torture her is a much more effective message for revenge; rather than telling Wayne how he was going to kick his ass and get his belt back.
