Only the enemy can teach us the virtues of compassion and tolerance.

You know; in all my years in this business, I have had many different types of tag team partners. I have had the good ones. I have certainly had bad ones. I have has partners that come through for me when I needed the most. But I have also had ones that would throw me under the bus in a heartbeat. Now, you may be wondering what is Dave? Truth be told, I have no idea where I would put him. It goes like this. He has amazing talent and potential, however he makes too many rookie mistakes be them psychical or mental. Then within the course of two weeks, he has saved my life, lost us the match at SuperBrawl, and fed me to the beast called Reckless. I’ll let you decide that one. All I know is that week, Dave Williams is my partner. Now whether that will be a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen. Just remember Dave, when you walk into that ring you already have two strikes against you. One more, and your out.
Now for the other two men in this match. Reckless, you know the saying ‘Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me?’ Well if you didn’t, you do now! But then again going into this weeks tag match, you probably think I need to learn the ‘Third time’s a charm’ one. Well guess again Reckless. Because it will be you that needs to learn it. I have tried twice to end your career. Well guess what? The third time’s a charm.
Now for you Trace. As far as I can remember, you and I have only been in that ring together once, and we were tag team partners. We lost. And now we will step into that ring again, except this time as enemies. Trace, I want you to know that I have no bad blood towards you, and that the one I want in this match is Reckless. But I also want you to know that if you get in between Reckless and myself, I will take great pride in tearing you to shreds.

I have only been in a courtroom once, and that was when I put the bastard who killed my daughter behind bars. But now that man is ‘dead’ and I have to go to court again. It is no secret that Julia shot Jacob Michaels, as everyone around Mitchell Park that night told the cops the same story, that she attacked him in self defense. She attacked him because he had already shot her, and was attempting to kill myself and Dave. However, I would like to know how the police can charge her with murder if the body has never been found. Attempted murder maybe. But even then…well, here it is. Courtroom 136. God, if you can hear me…I really need a miracle right now.
(Horror walk through the mahogany set of doors and makes his way to the first row of benches behind the defendant table. Everyone, including Julia is already sitting. Once he gets to the center of the row, people begin to stare at him. He is unable to figure out if they are staring at him because of his intimidating size, or that they know he is Julia’s Ex-Husband, or if they just happen to be avid WFWF fans. As he moves along it is very obvious that he is very anxious and a little scared. However there is a sort of malice radiating off of him as well. Julia turns around and Horror gives her a melancholy smile as he gets to the bench. As he sits down, he rubs his hands over his mouth and chin and lets out a small, depressing sigh. Horror gets the attention of Julia’s lawyer and directs him to come to him. They begin to speak in a hushed tone.)
“Ok Ben, I know I have told you this a million times but for my mind to rest, I have to tell you again. Do everything possible to get her acquitted.”
Ben Crossen: And I have told you a million times, Shawn. I have been a defense attorney in this state for almost 10 years, and have only lost one case. An amazing track record if I may say so myself.
“I know, but I am just so nervous for all of our sakes.”
Ben Crossen: I completely understand. But with no body, there is no proof that she murdered Jacob.
Bailiff: All rise for the Honorable Judge Judy George.
(The minute the judge walks in the room, Ben goes stone faced. Horror and Julia both are confused.)
“What’s wrong, Ben?”
Ben Crossen: Remember when I told you I only have lost one case in almost 10 years?
“Yes, you said that about 2 minutes ago…why?”
Ben Crossen: Judy George was the presiding judge in that case.
Judge: You may be seated.
(As Ben walks back to his seat, Horror puts his head in his hands, then clenches his fists. He then proceeds to sit back and listen to the opening arguments by the district attorney.)
<><><><><><><><><><>
(An hour or two had passed as the prosecution and the defense stated their claims. Both sides were basically over-repetitive. The prosecution was basically saying that there was no body, so a murder charge would be very hard to prove, but they were determined to prove she killed him and throw Julia in jail for the longest time allotted. The defense basically reiterated the prosecution however they left out the jail part and said everything in a way that benefits Julia. It was about noon now as the judge called for a one hour recess. She said for everyone to be ready because the prosecution will call its first witness. Everyone begins to file out of the room. Horror is leaning against the wall next to the door as Ben and Julia come out.)
“So how is it looking, Ben?”
Ben Crossen: I can’t really say. They made just as many good points as we did. Though it is too early to tell, things are looking up a little though on the murder charge, but we just have to wait and see.
Officer: Mr. Thomas?
“Yes officer?”
Officer: You’ve been served.
(The officer hands Horror the slip of paper. He walks away as Ben and Horror open the subpoena. It states that he must testify in the case of Julia Evangeline Welding vs. The State of Wisconsin on this present date.)
“Ha…a little late, don’t you think?”
Ben Crossen: More than a little. They did this on purpose. It was sent late so you would not have time to strategize a story with anyone about that night. To bad they do not know that an hour in my time is more than enough time for this advice. Tell the truth. Easy as that. I am going to go to the D.A. now and try to get you immunity because as it stands now, you and your other friend would get into trouble as well even with the truth. I will tell you what he says. Good luck my friend.
<><><><><><><><><><>
(Everyone begins to file back into the room. Horror begins to pace as he knows he will be called up in under five minutes. He thought he was nervous before. He was on the stand before, but this time more was on the line. This time not only was Julia in trouble, but if Ben was not able to get immunity, Dave and himself would get smacked with charges also. Just as he is about to go into the room, Ben starts running towards Horror.)
Ben Crossen: Shawn…Shawn! I got it! It took a little bit of arguing, but I got the immunity for Dave and yourself. I am not sure if he will have to testify at a later date, but no matter what you say, they cannot hang it over either of your heads.
(Horror gives a quaint smile and nods his head at Ben. He seems to have lost a little bit of those nerves. They walk in and sit in their respective seats as the judge walks back in.)
Judge: Prosecution, call your first witness.
D.A: Thank you your honor. We would like to call Shawn Thomas to the stand.
(Horror walks through the gate and breathes a heavy sigh. He goes over to the bailiff and places his hand on the bible.)
Bailiff: Do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth or so help you God?
“I do.”
Bailiff: You may be seated.
(Horror sits down in the chair and faces everyone in the room. The District Attorney walks towards Horror.)
D.A: Just for the record, please state your name, age, occupation, and any alias’s you may go by.
“My name is Shawn Thomas. I am 32 years old. I am currently under contract with WFWF, a professional wrestling organization. And due to my profession, I use the ring name The High Horror.”
D.A: Thank you. Now, Mr. Thomas. We all know the initial reason we are here. It is because of the murder of Jacob Michaels. But there was an event that lead up to that night. A Friday that neither you nor your ex-wife should ever forget. Please Mr. Thomas, in your own words, tell us about the event that occurred on May 13th, 2002….
