At times people realize that they have had a life that was long lost and never found again, but some do refind this life after an event of great dissapointment
THE WILL
In an ordinary locker room at Solider Field Chicago Illinois. There’s nothing special about this locker room. Its got the essentials a shower big enough for about twenty people, a row of about 10 different colored lockers, nice boring carpet of the American flag, a 45inch TV to watch what’s going on in the arena, and a red; white; and blue bench. And the paint on this bench is old that in spots the paint has cracked or just totally missing. Further down the bench Jay Mayhem sits with his head down and holding a white envelope in his hands. The envelope is still as nice and as neat as it was one week ago when a doctor handed it to him after his father had passed on.
Flashback to last week
Doctor-I’m sorry Jay but he’s gone
Jay-…
Doctor-I believe this belongs to you.
The Doctor hands Jay a clean fresh and sealed white envelope with the words “Dave Davis’s Will”
Doctor-He’s been working on it all the time he was here.
Jay (holding back tears)-Thanks
Jay turns and leaves
End Flashback
Jay holds the sealed envelope so lightly as his hands are very sweaty and doesn’t want to leave sweat marks. One of Jay’s fingers slip and the envelope falls to the ground and lands back side up. Jay stands up and bends over to pick it up and as he does he begins to think.
Jay-A blue Hummer. There’s no way it could be mine. I was in the ring, and Kim was right there cheering me on. And Kay was talking to Yukio last I remember. And when I left the hummer was in the exact same spot, it did seem a tad little more to the left tough. Awww hell what am I thinking Kay would never do that and if it was stolen why would some one bring it back?
Jay looks at the envelope and slowly begins to open it. He first makes an opening at the top and the tears down the short side. He grabs the two-paged will and unfolds it. He begins to read it in his head.
Jay-Dear family and friends if your are reading this or hearing it I have passed on past the gates of heaven, and I will hope to see you all soon one day again. But as for now I leave the following possessions to my one and only son.
Malcolm Davis: To you I leave my old house where I spent many years of my life. The house is all paid off and is located in Flagstaff, AZ; Also to you I give all the belongings in the house unless you have decided otherwise to let others have them; I leave to you my two Alaskain Huskies they are both pure breeds the boy is named Arto and the girls is named Lilly; you will also receive $250,000,000 of my personal cash kept in my safe (the combo is *-*-*-*); as well jay you shall receive the one half of the remaining life insurance as the other half will go to your sister Katie; My dear Malcolm I leave to you one last thing to some this may seem as a stupid present or a dumb gift left behind in the dust but to you I leave my war medals and my Red Lion Ruby Medallion.
Jay-Wow I never dreamed I would get a new house. But I don’t need it just yet. Well maybe I’ll sell the old one to Kay when the babies are born. The dogs will be a great addition to our family and the money will help a lot as well will the life insurance. And the war medals will make a nice memorial to my dad and the Medallion just might bring me some luck as Red Lion Rubies are suppose to be. And at least I still have some family I wonder how she’s doing about dad’s death.
Jay looked back at the will and saw a small note after the paragraph of what he got and he saw the words “Here’s Katie’s Cell number incase you two wanna meet 870-*56-*895” Jay set down the will and picked up his cell phone and dialed Katie’s number praying that she would answer. As the phone began to ring his heart began to beat faster and faster and faster the phone continued to ring until a sweet about thirty year old girls voice came on and said.
Voice- Hey you reached Katie and Calvin sorry were not here right now but leave some info and we’ll get back a.s.a.p.
Jay Hey Katie this is Malcolm your brother just calling to see how your doing and that I’ve got dad’s will so call me back ok well I got to get goin so talk to ya soon bye.
Jay hung up the phone just as there was a knock at the door.
*knock Knock*
Jay went over and opened the door and saw that a backstage worker was there with Kim behind him.
Worker-Its time to line up for the Rumble Mr. Mayhem
Jay-Thanks and its Mr. Davis by the way
The worker leaves looking confused as Jay turns to Kim and gives her a kiss and says.
Jay-Hey if a girl named Katie calls, don’t yell at her and make sure you get a message from her
Kim-Who is she?
Jay-My sister.
