There is only one guarantee in this world, you live and you die. You never know how long you have to live, and you never know when your end will come. All I know, is that you have to live every moment to the fullest, and that if you don’t, then you are going to regret it.
Trace: You sure that this is safe?
I am standing in a small plane, hundreds of feet above the ground. Were going pretty fast, and the plane is making a really bad creaking sound. I am a little worried that the whole thing is about to fall apart. Its meant to be made out of something strong, but from the looks of things this is just rusted metal that has been painted silver.
?: What could go wrong?
The man standing next to me is an old friend, his name is Robert and right now he is trying to get me to jump out of the plane with nothing but a parachute. I mean, how is a bit of silk meant to stop me from dying.
Trace: let me think, what if the parachute rips and I fall to me death?
Robert: That barely ever happens.
Trace: What?
Robert: Don’t worry about it, JUMP!
And with that I am gone, my body takes leave of the safe ground and I leap out into the open air. I look down, which was not my best idea, and see the clouds fly past me as I plummet to the ground. As I fall I worry about a lot of things, like what if the parachute doesn’t work and what if I am attacked by a flock of birds on the way down?
Trace: This is crazy!
They are the only words I can get out, my brain is pounding against my skull, as if it wants to get out and see what the air is like for itself.
As I fall I remember about the parachute. Fumbling around I finally manage to pull the string. The parachute flies out and suddenly my decent slows. As I look down I realize that I can see the ground flying towards me, and I still don’t understand how the hell a piece of silk is holding me up. I feel the wind rushing pass my face, and take a breath, probably the first one I have taken since I jumped.
Minutes later I hit the ground running, the parachute following behind me. I collapse on the ground, my heart is beating fast and I can feel the adrenaline pumping.
Trace: That… was… Awesome!
