The rules of the battle royal will be that of a actual royal rumble. Two men or women start, every 90 seconds a new person enters. Now, what will be the added.
Last years rules applies will be where the final four men will compete in a tournament in the weeks after, with the winner getting in the main event. Eliminated Wrestlers Revenge will be every time someone gets eliminated, he or she will remain at ringside to possibly help people to not get eliminated or to screw people over.
Or, if everyone would be feeling frisky, the steel cage could be added once again, but under the royal rumble rules. (Steel Cage is that of a Hell In The Cell, but roofless and a little bit bigger.
Lets get sweaty people.

Maybe it is just me, but I do not think people, including me, who were not here for last years, will pick last years rules.

I hadn't come back by that point, but I like that stip the best. Whether or not someone was here at the time doesn't really have any bearing on the votes.

Maybe it is just me, but I do not think people, including me, who were not here for last years, will pick last years rules. There will be a sole survivor, but the four men that were eliminated before there was a winner, will contest in a 4 man mini tournament. This years Superbrawl Main Event will more than likely see multiple people gunning for the World Title.

Note that in last years rules, weapons were legal, as Manny C wailed away on a few people...

Pin or submissions/final two pin or submission are the only ones I like.
I dunno, the whole "mini tournament" makes the entire battle royal seem completely pointless too me. Why not just do an eight man tourney from the get-go or something?

Here's my question. If this is a Battle Royal, and there is a steel cage, you cn't throw anyone out. If it is a Hell in a cell, to use teh cage, you would have to get eliminated, or do one of those stupid duck out things, so what is the point, because it cannot come into play too much. Now, if we did a pinfall submission cage, with a limit of six people in the battle at a time, that would work.
PS- the rules from last year were due to the fact the title was vacated. Rev won the Battle Royal- getting himself a shot, and then the other four of the last five had a tournament to determine who faced Rev. The winner of that match would be crowned champ.

I get the same vibe, it's not even me just chimining in, I really don't like hearing that a battle royal winner will result in multiple guys getting a title shot anyway... that's kind of stupid. As for a pick, I'm giving it to the pinfall/submission final 2. Since that basically means no bullsh*t. Hopefully..

I guess Burton is the only one who remembers. I vote last two end in pinfall. The other options suck, plus throwing stipulations into a match that is already going to be a bitch to write would be even meaner. I think last year, I pawned it off on Drakz. I lucked up there.

it should be like, a ladder match.. elimination occurs when someone is able to go to a ringside table, write someone's name on a piece of paper, then climb the ladder and hang that name. Or it could be a "Grand Theft Auto rules" match where everyone comes equipped with guns, knifes, bats, and chainsaws, or in Yukio's case, a giant pink heh.

The ladder idea is really good IMO For TNA maybe. Though if this was TNA they'd have a Reverse ladder match. You'd start off fighting on the ladder, and first one to climb down wins.

Don't forget the ladder would be electrified and covered in Barbed wire, and it would be a tag contest with the winner getting a world title shot, even though it is a battle royal.

Now that I think about it more, I'm not liking the idea of last year's rules. Too bad I voted for it. I'm thinking now that the Superbrawl main event should be a singles match. Throw more guys in and the Rumble is useless.
