Lines in the sand.. Lines everywhere.. Sand everywhere. Everywhere that there is sand, there is lines and there is sand everywhere. These lines aren’t random, but instead pointing in the same direction, creating a circling effect towards the center. This isn’t a beach, however, because there is no water. Just sand. Sand and lines. Everywhere. Many feet out these grid of lines stretches, but the apex of the circle is the reigning WFWF Heavyweight champion Obo. He looks quite comfortable, lounging in a pair of black denim shorts with red stitching, the WFWF Heavyweight championship draped over his shoulder.
Wayne McGurk.. This final match. The house of horrors. The dream of my demented mind. We played in your playground, under your rules before.. Now it’s my turn. I’m not even sure why we’re having this match. I won our feud. I destroyed you in the iron man match. I beat you physically and psychologically. Do you remember what I said to you during that iron man match? Do you remember when I got real close to you. When I got in your ear so only you could hear me. Do you remember what I said? It’s something I will never forget. It’s something that actually makes me laugh and I hope you remember it, because it can happen again.
Obo stands up from this confusing and excessively complex grid of random lines and starts to walk, destroying all the lines and all the work put into it. Obo is stomping through the last of this excessive yet impressive display at lines, but behind him is Samantha, looking very depressed with a stick and a green bucket in her hand. She’s sweating heavily and seems exhausted, but pulls herself to her feet anyways
You were the starling challenger and in your own opportunity, YOU BLEW IT! You lost! You’re a pathetic piece of shit. Why do you DESERVE another title shot? I am the world heavyweight champion and I destroyed you. I humbled you and I broke everything that you dream of. You understand this Wayne? I beat you! GO AWAY! Get out of my life! I shouldn’t even be facing you at this event. I should be facing Dane Christian or Reckless or something..
Obo approaches a very comfortable looking lawn chair and plops down, careful not to drop his WFWF title, but not seeing what was occupying the chair prior to his buttocks. Now crumpled up and smashed, it was formerly a very tall paper house with two stick figures on the top and “I Love you Daddy” across the side in crayon letters. Samantha almost cries, but says nothing as her father pulls the crumbled art from his butt. He stands back up and starts walking again.
Instead, I’m stuck in this feud with you. This is typical WFWF. It’s the tradition. Regardless if the owner of the company is the best or not, they shall hold the WFWF Heavyweight championship and base the company around themselves. It happened with Johnny Michaels in 2005. Anyone who’s impressed by his eighteen month something reign as WFWF champion really needs to look at his reign. Almost the entire reign was him booking the fed, booking himself into easy title matches if title matches at all. Wayne McGurk. I know you. I know that’s what you want to do. You want to hold the championship and put yourself over hard. You want to put your wife over. You want to put your cousin Joe over. You’re a ing egomaniac.
Samantha tries to run ahead of her father and hand him something, but he does not see her and almost runs into her in continuing to walk forward. She drops the paper and sort of shrugs, skipping along uncaringly. The note falls with a sway, catching wind as it falls before finally landing design up, the words “King of Gore“ appearing in vibrant letters, albeit some of the letters backwards. Below this is two stick figures holding hands and a heart.
But Wayne McGurk, if you think for one moment you’re going to put yourself over on me.. You’re more lost than I could have ever thought. But McGurk, in this wicked game you play, you’re using me as a pawn, when in reality, I am the master of puppets. I am the one who rolls the dice in this game. I move your tokens around the board.
Samantha pulls a deck of cards out of her bucket and thinks about handing them up to her father, but looking back on the previously wrecked paper house, drawing, and sand art, thinks better of it and just sticks them back in her bucket. The pair reach a cozy looking set of chairs, suspiciously placed in the middle of no where. Samantha takes the cue and dives into one, while Obo goes to a wall and sits with his knees up in his face
But Wayne you can‘t beat me... You can’t break me. You can’t destroy me and you can’t eliminate me. There’s only one man in the entire world who can beat me.. He’s been trying ever since I was a small child.. This man’s ultimate goal is to destroy me and to destroy everything I’ve ever accomplished. He hates me more than you could ever dream of. He wishes my ultimate destruction on a daily basis. He wishes harm to Samantha, just because he knows it would hurt me.. He toys with my emotions and tries to harm my body whenever possible. I’ve had my wars with him and neither of us are ever able to come out on top.
He is me..

So Phillip.. It’s been a while, what brings you here today?
~~His words burn through me. I know I need to talk to him, because my mind is driving me crazy, but I can’t. I don’t want to. All this stupid crazy shit.. I fret with suicide daily, but the thought doesn’t scare me. I’ve seen homicide as a reality and I laughed at it.. That’s not right..~~
Phillip?
~~I want to respond to him, but I can’t. I open my mouth but the words won’t come out. I try to say what’s on my mind, why I’m here, but I can’t. nothing comes out. Thankfully for my sanity, he says it.~~
Is this about Samantha getting involved in the wrestling again?
~~So wise.. Yet so hollow.. ~~
Doctor Baldwin sits uneasily in his chair, shuffling through papers in his usual way, but very interested in what his most frequent patient, WFWF Heavyweight champion Phillip “Obo” Schneider. Phillip has seen this doctor off and on now, and unlike most of Doctor Thomas Baldwin’s patients, Doctor Baldwin has been unable to crack this enigma. It often puzzles him, but Phillip seems unwilling to change..
It’s all a shoot. Why’s it all a shoot? Isn’t this supposed to be a work? No one’s supposed to get legit hurt and the storylines are pre-determined? Isn’t that always what I heard? Then why was that Slash kid legit punching me? Why do I have a scar on my back where that harlot Vanessa dug her herpes infested finger nails into me? Why was she in a neck brace for so long? And why is my kid in all of this? It’s all a shoot..
Predtermination.. It’s something I always just sort of assumed in wrestling, but through prior conversations with you, I’ve found that a lot of it isn’t.. So the thing with the Reverend wasn’t the end I’ve seen.. Samantha has been brought back on TV for this feud with Wayne..
And I don’t know why.. Ever since Ashley died..
WHAT??
It’s better if you don’t ask.. But now she’s back in. she has to be.. She’s traveling everywhere with me, except for the few times that her grandmother will keep her. I’m begging my mom to keep her for the PPV, but she says she won’t..
Speaking of your mother.. I got a chance to speak with her..
How?
She came to pick up Samantha after our little session.. She shed some light on your mysterious background. Why you show so much hate and resentment towards the world around you. Why you always fear someone becoming close to you..
With the slightest annoyance in his voice, but filtered by curiosity..
Oh?
She said that as a child, you had a lot of problems. AD/HD, hyperactivity, and more. The medications they put you on to subside these problems just led to more problems, like growth stunts and depression.
I’m a small, pissed off, mother fucker
She said public schools handled the situations all wrong. That instead of helping you with your problems and allowing you to grow into a mature and well rounded adult, they instead chose to take you away from everyone else, put you into an isolation from your peers.. Into a special class for.. The disturbed..
Basicly, they said I’m crazy so deal with it..
Well, yes and no.. from what I’ve heard from your mother, and you can help me on this one with more in depthness, is that they put you in very unsafe situations with the perminantly scarred and mentally dangerous, where your problems just became worse than what they already were.. She said that you were becoming more and more depressed by the day, to the point that you’d beg her not to put you on the school bus because you doubted if you’d come home alive, either because of those around you or by your own hand, ending the pain once and for all.. I’m very concerned by this, Phillip, especially considering your recent attempt with suicide.
With an eerie, twisted grin on his face.. A smirk almost..
Hey Baldwin.. You know I’ve got a good influence in what I do in the wrestling.. Right?
I don’t see how this is really the time to talk about wrestling.. It’s not like this is a promo or something, but okay..
The House of Horrors was my design.. And let’s just say.. It’ll be my escape..
Taking the air out of the room, Obo stands up and leaves, stealing a stapler on the way out the door for no apparent reason.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The match is over but Obo’s not done yet, as he pulls Wayne back to his feet with a handful of hair. Kick to the gut from Obo causes Wayne to double over and Obo whips him into the turnbuckle HARD! Obo reaches into his pocket and pulls out a pair of handcuffs Wayne is down in the corner and possibly out. With little effort, Obo handcuffs McGurk to the top rope.
Vanessa McGurk is into the ring and she strikes Obo in the back with a double ax handle. Obo turns around quickly and clinches Vanessa by the hair, pulling back HARD on her long red locks. Her drags her to the corner before lifting her up with a handful of butt. He sets her on the top turnbuckle and drapes her feet split legged, crossing her feet under the ropes. The crowd gasps because they can see where this is heading. Vanessa struggles to get out of this lock, but cannot as Obo slides out of the ring and gets to the top rope.
Obo standing on the top rope now. Vanessa is sitting up, still hanging from her feet in the corner but able to regain some sort of composure. Obo’s young daughter is now at ringside and she’s begging Obo to not do what he’s planning. She’s in tears as her father stands at her friend’s head. Obo looks down at her and flips her off before kicking Vanessa right in the face. Vanessa falls down but starts to lean back up and Obo dives off, nailing Vanessa with a SICKENING tree of woe double stomp!! The crowd lets out a collective gasp and goes to stunned silence as “Bite the Hand that Bleeds You” by Fear Factory comes back over the P/A system. Medics rush to the ring as Obo exits, casually tossing the key to the handcuffs to Wayne McGurk.
Samantha is shocked at ringside, covering her eyes as tears run down her face and puddle in her hands. Obo grabs his daughter by the arm and forcefully jerks her up the ramp.
Wayne McGurk is free and he chases after Obo up the ramp! Obo escapes through the curtain and the crowd boos, but Wayne doesn’t stop like a typical hero, instead giving chase right through the curtain. Obo has handed Samantha off like a trophy to a near by on-looker. Wayne lunges towards Obo, but Obo jabs him in the face with a straight palm strike Wayne is bleeding from this strike, but Obo follows up with a hard roundhouse kick, nailing Wayne right in the ribs and the big man goes down to his knees.
Obo tries to grab a pipe from a nearby set up, but it’s attached and won’t come loose. Instead, Obo grabs a chair and throws it HARD at Wayne, the set collapsing around his head and knocking him down. Samantha is in tears as her new found guardian stops her from rescuing Wayne. Obo into his pocket and he pulls out a box knife. A near by faceless WFWF superstar tries to stop Obo by running between the two of them and holding up his arms, so Obo stabs Jake Slash in the stomach. The faceless WFWF superstar shrugs, because he’s not exactly sure where Jake Slash came from or why he got stabbed, but Obo no longer has the knife, so it’s all good. The faceless superstar walks away and Obo pulls out a second box cutter. He digs the blade in deep in Wayne’s chest, hacking and slashing a jagged carving.
Samantha breaks free and runs to Wayne’s rescue, but to no avail because Obo kicks her right in the face with a hellacious Yakuza kick. Samantha lands right on her head on the concrete, but Obo doesn’t care because he goes right back to hacking away at Wayne McGurk with the box cutter. Several WFWF superstars are attempting to make the save on their rather new boss. CBT is the first to make it past the guards with night sticks that have apparently been paid off by Obo, but just a few steps short of saving Wayne McGurk (which doesn’t make all that much sense anyways, since he was just in a long and bloody feud, but that’s beside the point) he gets stuck in a giant loop of sarcasm, thus ending his attempt at a rescue.
Wayne is gushing blood as Obo digs his hands into the biker’s chest, pulling pieces of flesh back. Vanessa McGurk is just coming through the curtain holding her neck at this point and is greeted by a piece of her husband’s chest being thrown at her in a bloody lump. Vanessa freaks out and jumps out of the way, but ends up falling down a flight of stairs that she somehow did not know that she was standing next to. At the bottom of the stairs, a bloody Vanessa lands with her legs and arms going the wrong ways, bones poking through the skin. Dead Idol walks up and shakes his head, then walks away.
Jake Slash is alive again and has the knife that Obo stabbed him with in his hand. He loves Obo so much that he doesn’t care that he just got stabbed and tries to stab the now animal-ravaged Wayne with his knife, but Obo intercepts and spits green mist into the eyes of Jake Slash. Slash accidentally swallows some of this and it hurts him, but he walks away and eats some fried chicken anyways.
Wayne McGurk is dead and mangled and Obo seems happy, his hands covered in the blood of his enemy. A cop then comes from through the curtain and puts him in hand cuffs. The last shot we see is Obo going to jail before we cut to a gray fog as..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Obo wakes up. He looks over at Samantha, asleep on the couch. She doesn’t appear to be the victim of a Yakuza kick head droppy ridiculousness, but Obo can’t be too sure. He goes to his daughter and wakes her up. With a haze over her eyes, Samantha sits up.
What daddy? I’m sweepy..
I had a dream that I killed you. And I killed Wayne.. And Dead Idol was there..
Okay.. Can I go back to sleep now?
What do you think of me? As a daddy?
Rolling over, seemingly ignoring her dad.
You’re an asshole that just woke me up at 3:00 in the morning..
Obo walks back over to his bed, mumbling to himself.
Just like her mother..
Wayne McGurk.. This final match. The house of horrors. The dream of my demented mind. We played in your playground, under your rules before.. Now it’s my turn.
