After an amazing victory over Obo, Calvin Lee was rewarded with the match of a life time. Except, it wasn’t his match of a life time. Rather then getting what most people get when they beat the champion, a shot at the title, Calvin Lee was placed in a different match. The Main Event. Calvin Lee and Josh Dean, vs. Jay Mayhem, and the returning Dane Christian. Trying to figure out what these other three did to earn the right to be in the main event Calvin Lee didn’t know. But he did know it was an easy win. That is, until Josh Dean blew it.
Calvin Lee and Luther Castle decided that after last weeks blow up they would take a break from wrestling, and instead, get involved in another type of fighting. Here in this gym. Yes a gym, so many wrestlers visit gyms. Calvin and Luther thought they would check out what is so good about these gyms, that make everyone want to be in them. The two are standing side by side, looking at the four sided arena. The blue and red ropes shine in the glistening lights above. Various people are randomly working out around the arena, which makes sense since this is a gym. Calvin and Luther watch as two men, dressed in their attires, get into the ring. The two start to jump around, and start to box. Mean while, Calvin and Luther watch. Calvin looks over to Luther.
Calvin Lee: Ever miss the boxing days?
Luther Castle: Yeah, but I figure if I use it in my wrestling style in the wrestling ring it’s all good.
Calvin Lee: One swing and your opponent would be down.
Luther Castle: Yeah. And I haven’t ran away from it entirely. With all this free time the WFWF seems to be handing to me, I have been using it to get back in the boxing ring. Just last week some random guy challenged me.
Calvin Lee: What’d you do?
Luther Castle: I kicked his ass.
Calvin Lee: Sweet.
Luther Castle: I figure might as well use it wisely. Maybe I can learn some new tricks.
Calvin Lee: Look on the bright side. Atleast you’re still getting paid.
Luther Castle: It’s like an unwanted paid Vacation. I guess I can’t complain. I’ve gonna try to tighten up my hook. It’s good, but I want it to be great.
Calvin Lee: Awesome.
Just as Luther Castle says that, a large crash is heard. Both glance at the ring, and see a man down. He’s a little shaken. He’s slow to get up. The other man takes a swing, and the shaken man ducks. He then steps foreword, trying to swing hard. He totally misses. The counter attack from his opponent is a full speed hook to the shaken man’s jaw. The jaw almost shifts over a whole inch, and the man falls down. He is down for the count after that amazing hook. Luther watches in amazement. How ironic.
Luther Castle: Just like that.
Calvin Lee: Damn.
Luther Castle: Ok they are done. Our turn. Come on get in, I’ll teach you some things.
Calvin Lee: Ok sounds cool.
The two start to jump around, and it fades.
A victory over obo. That is what I accomplished two weeks ago. Last week, I was placed in a horrible match, that Josh Dean lost for me. And this week, I face Josh Dean. The owners book me into the Survival of the Fittest match. I should not have to go through this. I should be in the main event, facing Obo. I earned it that right. I deserve my shot. But no, you make me fight my way through. Let me tell you all right now. After I go through this match, and if I lose, I expect to be facing the champion. Unless I become champion. If that happens, then I will laugh in all of your faces.
Whether I like it or not, the owners have booked me into this match. Against Josh Dean. Well, atleast you know how to pick them. Josh Dean blew it last week. He got embarrassed last week. I did to, but it was because of his lose. What happened to you Josh? You main evented against Obo. You beat CBT to win the International Title. It seems ever since you lost to Thunder, you can’t get it going again. Well, I pity you. I really do. You were something. But you lost the spark. Once you were taken out of the spot light, you were shot in the dark. I am not going to let you get in my way though. I am not going to my pity for you stop me. I can’t. Especially after what you did to me last week.
Think of this match Josh as not another loss, but a turning point. I should be your role model. I was down in the darkness too, about a month or two ago. Now it’s like I’m in my prime again. Follow my lead Josh. Do what I did. But don’t think it will start with me. Because I won’t allow it. You need to learn again how to win. Watch how I do it Josh, and then, you do what I do.
But please Josh, don’t think I’m trying to be mean. I like you. You rose so fast. Maybe too fast. You went right from house shows to main eventing FDS. That doesn’t happen often. Maybe they pushed you too fast. Either way, you’re down in a hole. I’m not going to help you get back out. Well except for beating you. That’s all I’m going to do for you.
