“Success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.” - Orison Sweet
“You must not fear death, my lads; defy him, and you drive him into the enemy's ranks.” - Napoleon Bonaparte
It has all been building since Yukio Blaze won the WFWF Tag Team Titles at Forever Unscarred. EBR was the very first man to put claims on it, instead of the usual format of the former tag champions demanding their shot, no it was a legend that has claimed that at least one of those titles are his, but Yukio just hasnt caved in to just giving away one of his belts. It took him a little over two years to gain a championship and I can sense that it wont be easy for EBR to just mop the floor and take what is Yukio's. He may have a mystery guy waiting in the shadows to tryo to get the titles, but its time for Yukio to fight back with everything. He defied the odds by beating two men to get the titles and he must do the same one more time.

The ships come into the docks one by one on Boston Harbor. Some has come from Canada, others from Mexico, and some even have crates that has come all the way from the orient. No matter what is on these, there is fine men and women loading and unloading this stuff on a daily basis. They have to unload TV's, phones to foods such as fish and sushi. This just isnt your average place, nor is this your average town. There is something in this town that is affecting every way of life.
Across the town is a music festival for the summer. Instead of paying for a concert, it is free to anyone that will sit and listen to it. This is the place for some to listen to the next Hendrix or even the next Rush. That's why you just sit back and watch this all unfold. In the same park is a old shady weeping willow and underneath this tree is a checker type design table cloth with a wooden picnic basket and a plate of food beside it. The ants are crawling all over the plate and amazingly, they do pick up some of the food like they do on the old cartoons and standing up looking at the concert is none other than Yukio Blaze looking like a normal civilian, which is a very rare thing to see. He has his shades on, pair of rugged looking pants and a basic green shirt. The one band on stage is finishing up and the audience is clapping at the performance as Yukio is doing to. The MC gets on the mic to announce the next band, but Yukio turns around at looks at the plate covered in ants as he shakes his head and he sits down next to the basket.
Conscience
That band was pretty damn sweet. I can tell that they are going to get big, but then again music moguls dont look for talent anymore. They just look for someone that has the looks but they cant sing, thus leading to a bunch of limp syncing morons.
Damn ants. I cant even leave my stuff alone for five minutes and those little buggers eat my bread and take away what they can carry. I just wish I had a camera with me so I could make a semi documentary and sell that it to one of those nature shows.
Conscience
Yeah, Ant Hunting with Blaze. That sure would sell alot. Oh hell no.
Yukio takes the plate and sets it off of the blanket and onto the very green grass. Yukio goes to close the basket, but beforehand he takes out bright red notebook that has a pen attached to it. Yukio then closes the basket and opens up the book.
Alright, it looks like I have to leave here in a half an hour or so, so that I can make the final preparations for what I truly want to call the final encounter. I just want to end this in a couple of days and I really want to end it right, but what did he leave for me to give me a boost. I know damn good and well that it wont be some fancy present, but another pep talk. God I've had enough of those through the years.
Conscience
He has given me more than pep talks. He gave me the extra "it" to get the job done of finally getting the tag team titles. It it wasnt for him, I would probably already be dead in a alleyway somewhere. It took me from being the towel boy to a top dog. I owe him a lot. I gotta do this right for the very last time.
Yukio opens up the notebook and flicks to a bent page that is just completely filled with writing, marking and scratches. He glares at this and his lips move with every word.
This is it Yukio. I will say that this isnt your biggest match you have ever had, but this will me a match that needs to end with you on the winning side. I took you from the gutter. I took away all of the pain that you have ever had. I told you to quit drinking and you did, you finally quit smoking and I helped you kick that habit by snapping my fingers. You always had the right stuff to show the world why you are called the Unknown Factor, but again I helped you to achieve your grandest goal of becoming a WFWF Champion. You made history by defeating two men, who in their own right were very dominating and it appeared that no one would stop them, you showed everyone wrong by defeating them both in a tag team hardcore match and you even defend the belts yourself. No one in the WFWF before you was able to do it, but you have to do all of this once again. You can take a beating, but you cant lose those titles because I could lose you forever. EBR is a very strong challenger that has been through it all and hell, he is a Grand Slam winner. The toughest of them all, but show him and give him everything that you have. Then there is his possible tag team partner. I know exactly who this person is, but I cannot tell you this info, but I can tell you that you have faced him in the past and he is a very loose cannon. He could change the tides of this match just by own will. I leave you with these last words to keep your blood pumping.
I gave you hope for becoming a Saint,
You took this as your opportunity to the top and it got you the ultimate win.
Sinner was the other half and it took a liking to you,
But you were still able to embrace it.
Its time to put them both together like pieces to a puzzle.
Be both The Saint and The Sinner to overcome the very bad odds.
Do what you must to keep all the gold. Take to prisoners and give them hell, for glory is all you have.
Defied The Odds once you have, Defy them again no matter what.[/i][/color]
Yukio closes the book and just looks around at all of those around him. The mother swinging her child, the clown making the balloon animals, the bands still playing their music and the fans just cheering along. Yukio then takes a breath of air and closes his eyes while he smells the summer air. Its seems like he is in a euphoria type of state after reading the words in the book.
Conscience
All of a sudden, everything is new around me. Its different somehow, but I like it. This is why I am a wrestler.
I've come to a conclusion that no matter what EBR says or tries to say will not effect me in the least bit because I know I'm the better man at the end of the day. He can say that he will stay calm cool and collective and then beat me, thus taking away my titles. It makes no sense at all because he is just washed up. He only amounted to anything in the past WFWF where he was the top dog in his game. He had all of those titles and women, but I deeply know that it was just a image. You can defeat me by gaining your shot at the gold, but that is the only win that you will get over me. You had the match won anyways because you can payoff a official with that nice retirement pay, while I must work my ass off. I just hope to god that I dont hurt you that damn bad.
There is then the whole ordeal of you bringing in a mystery partner. That makes no sense to me because if your that damn good, why in the blue hell do you need help. I did the job done by myself and you couldnt do it. That is a pu*sy act on your part, but your partner will have a beat down coming in the way of the Blaze. I dont care who he is and if I faced him in the past, but I just have that feeling that whoever it is, I've beat his ass in the past. Let it be Thunder, Saku, Reverend Shadow, Justa Mazing, Percy, Destroyer and anyone for the fact because he is a deer in front of the car. There is no swerving around it because it is going to get killed. You be warned mystery guy, I can choke your ass out very quick.
On July Seventh of two-thousand seven I will make the ultimate sacrifice and the ultimate fight to hold onto everything that I have. I've trained in nasty gyms and slept in the backseats of cars to gain what I currently have. You EBR nor your partner is going to take it all away from me just for the fact that I'm better than you both. Boston is the location of the warzone, Veni, Vedi, Vici is the name of the show, Veni - I've came here to defend what is mine, Vedi - I've saw you you can do and I have you figured out, Vici - I'm going to show to all why I can defeat two men in the same match. I'm going to conquer them like the Spartans did to the Persians. We will dine in hell because I'm not going to back down or quit. Veni, Vedi, Vici - Defying The Odds, yet again.
Yukio starts to hum to the music playing while he stands back up and then starts to fold the table cloth into a nice square and he places it into the basket. Yukio then kneels on the ground and closes the basket, securing the locks around it and he then looks over to the paper plate that once had the food on it. Yukio sees that there is not a single trace of it left, other than the few remaining ants left on it. Yukio laughs at this and he kneels back up with the basket in hand and he walks towards the middle of the park as the sun shine brightly leaving a shadow behind him when he walks. Veni - He came to the park, Vedi - He saw the best in entertainment, Vici - He saw what can be conquered and he plans to do the same.
I do believe that I got my message through to him and he has took these words very serious. I dont want him to lose it all, but in the end he wont lose. EBR and his partner must think that he is set to lose it all and that they will have the advantage, but they are very wrong because because they are the ones outnumbered. They have me to contend with and they have both Yukio's good and bad side to mess with. Lets see them overcome the odds that Yukio has beaten time and time again.
