So, with Punk being back for about 12 days now, what is your overall thoughts about it?
Did you enjoy his Survivor Series return? His RAW return? The crowd reaction? The social media reaction? Are you looking forward for what is next? His SD return tomorrow? His Rumble return? WM return?
For me I'd say I loved everything above and I'm excited for what is next. I think having Punk back alone is HUGE & still shocking so I really don't mind whatever what he does now. I'm enjoying the ride.

Whether you love him or hate him he has got people talking and it puts eyes on the product.
In order for this return to be a success he needs to behave himself. I'm pretty sure he's on a one strike and he's out rule.

Reactions I read are about what I'd expect.

Give it a minute. He's barely done anything yet. Let them build storylines first.

Survivor Series return was good, Raw speech was meh, I’m hoping something substantial happens with him on the next SmackDown and Raw.

Changed wrestling for the better. Created a buzz & positions WWE firmly on top of the sport. Ahead in every metric.

As a wrestling fan I really don’t care. And like I said when he showed up in AEW while I liked watching him in the ring when he was in the wwe, but I didn’t miss him when he was out of wrestling for all those years. Because to me there was never a CM Punk match or moment where I was talking about it after the show. I was never a fan of the so called “Pipe Bomb” as it so overrated because it wasn’t believable. If it was real Vince whole have shut his mic down 10 seconds into it. Vince knew everything he was going to say.
And as for now I feel it’s a mistake by the WWE bringing him back in. He’s always been known as a locker room cancer. And he proved it again in AEW. One incident you can say it’s maybe not him, but when there’s multiple incidents he’s involved in then you know he’s the problem. But even if the WWE feels they can control the locker room cancer issue there’s a much more concerning issue. And that is he’s injury prone now. He had two major injuries that kept him on the shelf for his two years in AEW. So if I was the WWE I wouldn’t have signed him knowing he’s a major injury risk. What’s the point if he’s on the shelf and misses any of the big 4 PPV’s? But hey I do hope he proves me wrong for those who are happy to see him back.

Everything you laid out shows WWE brought him back merely because of AEW, nothing more. Just like Cody, just like Cargill, and just like any major name that may make that jump in the future. WWE doesn't appreciate these talents any more than they did, it's out of spite. And I can't enjoy any moment because of that thought.

Is he a heel or face?
At the end of his speech on Raw he said "I'm here to make money, not friends" That is something a heel would say.

CM Punk gave WWE their highest viewed social media clip, which is insane.
I think the tweet of his Survivor Series return is also close to 40 million views, another insane fact.
I'd say his return was already a success before it even got rolling.

Loved the Survivor Series return. The trademark on the screen before he walked out really got me. It was such a tiny detail but added so much. I thought the first raw promo back was kind of so-so but I just watched the smackdown one earlier and I think that was a lot better. There's a lot of guys I'd be excited to see him work with and it's nice for me to be excited about the product instead of cynical for a change.

I’m beyond thrilled about it. I’ve been a big Punk fan since 2006 and he’s honestly my #2 all time. There’s a lot of potential here if everything works out. He’s a draw. He’s going to move merch and sell tickets. He can help the younger generation, as many examples in AEW proved. Triple H didn’t hire him because he’s a fan or a friend. He hired him because he knows he’s going to make money and that’s great business decision. He’s also not going to let things get out of hand if conflict arises. As far as the near future, things are looking pretty bright. So I’m more than excited to see where we go from here.

Lots of solid point @pj I agree, I think real old school fans who understand honour DO NOT RESPECT HIM OR LIKE HIM, although very overrated he is still a draw. Yeah I think the move is out of spite rkmo: 9 Month Warning - but only Punks as he is older and like PJ said broken. Overall so far, his return has been MEHHHHHHHHHHH

Absolutely brilliant.
Survivor Series was one of the biggest moments in history, especially recently. The Raw after was meh but everything since, straight fire.
Added some much needed spice to the Rumble, I've now not got a clue who wins it.

It's all I've ever wanted... and after waiting nearly ten years, I'm loving every minute of it. I'm a bit disappointed I apparently won't get the other thing I want - him ending this Reigns nonsense, but oh well. But he wasn't known as a problem in ROH... there were never any incidents in his first WWE run - and there won't be this time, either. The issues in the other place arose, largely because it's populated by rookies (kids) - who apparently won't take advice from veterans... and operated by idiots. Also I think he came to his senses, and wanted out of there asap - and by any means possible. Still, it all worked out eventually, so who really cares. Whether you love him or hate him he has got people talking and it puts eyes on the product. In order for this return to be a success he needs to behave himself. I'm pretty sure he's on a one strike and he's out rule. "Behave himself"? He's a 45 year old man, not a teenager. That's an odd thought process, quite honestly. They brought him back because they know he's a legit draw now - his merch sales alone, prove that. They brought Cargill in - not only because she made the choice to leave the other place, but because they can make her a star, where the other lot couldn't... And, if there's a bit of spite towards that company, mixed in, then good, I say.
