Tip for collecting MOC: Don’t! Haha
I’m currently trying to help a fellow member here and my god is it frustrating trying to find one mint. I have found 6 now all have had a crease, smashed corner or whatever.

I keep all of my figures MOC and I use pegboards and 12 inch hooks to hang them on. It's a fairly easy way to store them and have them close at hand without taking up crazy amounts of space like you would with racks. It takes up less of a footprint because you have them on your wall and they stay in good condition. It's just a pain to dust them at least once every 2 or 3 weeks.
Also I would find myself scrutinizing every single aspect of the package and the figure and I would sometimes drive myself crazy comparing boxes. So I honestly feel like there truly isn't a "perfect" figure/package combo out there because you can always find at least one incredibly small detail that still bothers you.
At least that's how it was for me. So now I just try and do a quick look over and by figures that I love. Don't buy figures that you won't like or don't truly want.
Also I made a topic several months ago about this and it got mixed reaction. But if you already own a certain figure and you find that same figure in store but you realize the card is better than the one you already have, then just buy the better carded one, save your receipt, and then return the one you owned previously to the store using the receipt from the new one.
I sort of had an ethical dillema over it but I don't anymore because I actually tell the associates/management at the return counter the reason why I'm returning it and they're fine with it.
