Has anyone else experienced what feels like quality control issues with Elites?
Today I grabbed a bunch of elite 58 at Target. Ambrose's IC title pops apart when you try to put it on him (not to mention he fact that getting the pegs into the holes with the soft plastic is a pain in and of itself. My Big Cass has a lose chest joint and he is like falling over. Is this an ongoing thing or did I just get a bad batch?

Happens with all toylines. They're mass produced and pumped out on a factory line like chicken nuggets. It's unfortunate, particulary at the current prices we pay, but it's going to happen. I doubt you have figures from 'a faulty batch'

Idk man, I've literally never heard anyone complain about Mattel qc even once. I gotta think this is fake news.

90% of all recent Elites i've bought have had 1 or more bad quality control issues.

I doubt it's a faulty batch. QA issues aren't exclusive to Mattel, but I run into them with Mattel figures more than any other line.

I received Elite 59 a few weeks ago and the belts are made of cheaper materials. It reminds me of the old Jakks BCA titles. Very poor quality, but the quality has only been going down for Mattel recently.

Quality Control? What’s that? It’s a typical issue.

There was a very short period of time where I thought QC was getting better. It didn’t last very long

I hate finally coming across a figure I've been hunting for ages, only to have to pass on it because of a horrible paint job.

My Nash elite figure broke the second I took him out the packaging. His right leg came off. I couldn't be bothered to pay the extortionate fees to send him back to the US from the UK so I had to super glue his leg back together.

I've noticed it a lot recently, especially among elites. The tyler bate figures at my local smyths were dreadful for MOC collectors. There was a problem with all 4 except the one I bought. I've even seen the wrong figures packed in the box. For example the battle pack road dogg and triple h figures in hall and nash packaging. And vice versa. I've seen it with the usos battle pack too on more than one occasion. The one that annoyed me most though was the kevin owens WM elite which was missing part of the paint job on the US title. Both of them were like that at time of purchase so I took it anyway and replaced the belt. Although I know the quality control refers more to the figure itself it's still a pain in the ass either way.

I haven't had a bad issue in a long while. used to pretty common. The only thin I hate now is painted skin tones. thats such a cheap cost cutting corner.

I rarely get a figure that doesn't have some sort of issue. Common ones are:
- Lose joints - Sloppy paint - Weird dark staining on the plastic that is skin colored - One that has been popping up recently is I've been having figures that come with actual little HOLES in the plastic, like it was poked with a needle or something.
Not good.
I don't have these issues with NECA and Diamond Select figures.

Well now that biggest complainer on the board has commented can we lock it up? Nothing left to be said.

It's been happening more so than ever lately. Throughout the beginning I rarely had any issues. What I mostly experience and is pretty annoying are unglued torsos from the sides, paint smudge and loose legs/arms/ab crunch. I contacted Mattel about my latest AJ and they were pretty nice to reply back, however I haven't heard from them back after I replied. My Elite AJ is missing a piece of his hair, has smudged paint and loose legs.

Mattel QC is non-existent.
